Stopped here on Tuesday to repair my son's IPad 2. I originally found this place on Facebook so I decided to try it out. The place wasn't too hard to find, he's located inside a Metro PCS so once you found that store just go in and ask for Justin. He's very friendly and has good customer service. I dropped the iPad off and came back for it. And it looks as good as brand new. He did a better job than those other places I've been to. And the pricing was very reasonable. Definitely gonna recommend it to anyone who needs repair. read more

I didn't find SoFlo iRepair...they found me! I broke my phone a few weeks ago and haven't had time to go somewhere to get it fixed. The owner, Justin, noticed my broken phone as I was walking into a business next door and offered to fix it. He fixed it within 20 minutes and it's working great. SoFlo iRepair LLC has over 5 years experience in smart phone, tablet, and laptop repair. Originally, the business began as a mobile repair service in Chapel Hill, NC in 2011. Nearly a year later SoFlo iRepair moved to South Florida for larger opportunities. We took a hiatus for about a year when first moving to Florida to explore other opportunities with a military defense contractor. By June 2013 we decided to pursue the cell phone repair opportunity once again by offering mobile repair services from Tequesta to West Palm Beach. Within 4 moths we shifted our business model from mobile repair to a physical location inside Metro PCS, 726 Park Ave., Lake Park, FL, 33403. We have been in this location since October 1st, 2014 and have developed an excellent reputation with the local community members and businesses. At first, everything seemed fine -- but within a month, the phone started randomly shutting off and overheating, just like it did before the repair. When I returned, expecting them to stand behind their work, they refused to replace the faulty battery they had installed. I even showed them my bank statement clearly proving I paid for the service on April 10th. But because I "wasn't in their system," they told me I'd have to pay again just for them to look at it. To make matters worse, the two men working were rude, dismissive, and acted like I was being unreasonable for expecting a working battery and basic accountability. Most reputable shops offer at least a 90-day warranty -- apparently, not this one. Now I'm out the money, and still have a phone that doesn't work. Total waste of time and money. Shady practices, poor customer service, and zero responsibility. Stay far away. **REPLYING to Devon's response below** I want to clarify that my intention was never to "extort" anyone. I simply sought support for a repair I genuinely believed had been completed at your shop. Which it was. When I provided my bank statement as proof of the transaction, you declined to honor it because the repair wasn't found in your system. I then asked if you could open the phone and inspect the battery--since it was replaced at your location--and you stated that I would be charged again just to have it examined. Accusing me of leaving a fake review or acting unfairly is both inappropriate and unprofessional. When I followed it, it was exactly what he said it would be, a bad screen. Based on that, I told him to order me a screen. When the screen came in, I was called by the technician. At the store, the tech greeted me, told me he would have the computer fixed the following day. Which is exactly what he did do. Overall I am impressed by the business and the willingness to diagnose an issue without me even giving them a cent. They were fast, gave me a warranty, and I will certainly use them in the future if the need ever arises.

I have to charge it up like three times a day, it will go through a whole battery 3 times a day now. With that said I Honestly liked Jay alot, But I didnt like the end result. Now im basically in the same shitty situation I was before, with an actual broken screen. BUYER BEWARE you wont be getting quality replacements for your hard earned money, You'll be getting the cheapest Chinese crap at very expensive prices. First, they always show up when they say they will. Second, their plumbers know what they're doing. Third, their guys have pointed out a couple of potential issues along the way which weren't part of the original scope of work, but nonetheless were pretty helpful to know as a homeowner. I know that pointing out issues is kind of like upselling, but it actually didn't come across as upselling because there wasn't any pressure to do the work. And that information you get is pretty helpful. The only downside to working with them is the price. They are by far the most expensive plumber I've worked with in the area. I kid you not, one time I got an estimate from them and as I reviewed their email in the middle of a Zoom call, I literally said out loud "holy fucking shit bro" not realizing my mic was on, which was a bit embarrassing. That said, I later agreed to the proposal because nobody else was available as fast. So yeah their availability and their quick response time is definitely important to me. I don't always use Mike's, sometimes they get undercut on price by a company that can come out quickly. But I know that when I do hire them, I will be in good hands, though with a lighter wallet. Stay away! The owner broke my phone and then comes up with excuses as to why he is not responsible. TIMELINE: Timeline: 1/21/2014 - Glass was fixed 1/24/2014 - Sensor problem was fixed. | He claims he uses 100% OEM parts, but the glass he put on my phone had the "cutouts" for the light/proximity sensor in the wrong place. His "fix" for this was to use a razor blade to scrape the paint off the glass in the correct spot. Real "professional" work there! 1/24/2014 - 1/29/2014 - Screen issues with flickers. As soon as he took the phone apart to scrape the paint off his so-called OEM glass, my phone started behaving erratically. LED would flicker constantly. Keep in mind, this entire time a large amount of glue is leaking out of all crevices in the phone. Sure, a little glue seapage is normal. This amount was definitely NOT normal. 1/29/2014 - LED went bad You can listen to the ridiculous excuses he is giving for breaking my phone if you want. However, do you really want to trust someone to fix your expensive piece of equipment if they aren't willing to take responsibility? Do yourself a favor and find a different company to fix your device. I stopped in for cell phone repair. My HTC was completely trashed from a spill of sticky liquid. JUSTIN spent some time with me, explained that the phone was probably not worth fixing due to its age. He did, however recommend a couple of potential fixes. After 24 hours in a bag of rice, my phone is up and running again. I really appreciate his candor - he could have said "sure, i can fix it" and charged me for it. I appreciate that he was candid and honest. Highly recommend. Go here if you need to repair a device! Don't bother shopping around, I've called everyplace in the area. My iPhone 6S Plus screen was shattered and found the best price here. I ended up with the best deal, service, and quality. Justin is professional, fast, and does amazing work. He's extremely knowledgable and takes great care of his customers. I was referred to this business by a friend because I couldn't find anyone that would repair the shattered screen on my Samsung Note 3 for less than 250 bucks The service is immediate and extremely professional and the guy there Justin really made me feel comfortable with his knowledge.
