I am so pleased with the service and quality of work I received from Sofa Interiors! My project was to slip covers two club chairs that were extremely comfortable but without aesthetically pleasing upholstery. I was given great advice and generous discounts on premium fabric and labor... and voila... gorgeous slipcovers! I decided to also add a swivel to the chairs and the execution was perfect. The turnover time was unbelievably quick! Scott, the owner is very patient and kind. He is very passionate about the work he does. Just knowing that, acted as a vote of confidence and insurance policy regarding the outcome of my project. One thing I really like is that Scott provided me with several options. He would make a recommendation and provide alternatives and then address any concerns I had. Even the delivery staff are extremely friendly and helpful! I highly recommend Sofa Interiors because they did outstanding work for me and I know they will do the same for you! Thanks so much Scott and Team for all your help. read more

I've been lucky to do business with Sofa Interiors for all my sofa and reupholstering and slip cover needs and repairs since 2007 when I bought my first sofa from them (they were in Studio City then)!! It's like having my own private upholsterer. My first adventure involved my dog and her ball that kept rolling under the couch. Silly dog shredded the skirt of my slipcover and Faviola was able to find/match the fabric and replace just the skirt. Totally washable slipcover, super comfy sofa was new again. Fast forward, sofa cushions got tired, cover still lovely, so Faviola and team refilled my cushions, made the cushions like new again. Fast forward to this past visit.... dog again... shredded too much, so we had a whole new slipcover for my 20 year sofa and it's fantastic!! Faviola is a great careful, communicator. I always know what I'm getting and what the price will be. read more

It has been many years since we purchased our sofa, loveseat, and oversized ottoman from Sofa Interiors. Our furniture was feather down. Unfortunately we made that purchase when our children were very young. The wear and tear on the items purchased was to be expected from a busy family and once compromised we cleaned feathers from our floors daily. The comfort of the furniture however was amazing. We would love to invest again in their products but the costs for us at the moment is prohibitive. If circumstances change we'll be a repeat customer. read more

Wonderful place to shop for the exact sofa you need. The shop custom builds sofa to your exact requirements and helps you determine the most comfortable item for you. When you're done determining the configuration, you pick the material sample to match your decor. A few weeks later the sofa is delivered to your place. I will continue to frequent this store. read more

I cannot recommend Sofa Interiors enough. We purchased a new couch and chair and reupholstered another. Working with Faviola was a dream! She really went all out to understand what I was looking for and her recommendations were spot on! We worked together seamlessly throughout the entire process and our finished products are spectacular! You cannot go wrong using Sofa Interiors. read more

We purchased a custom sofa from Sofa Interiors in 2011. It was starting to look a little worn after 13 years of heavy use (including pets) but was otherwise in great shape. We still loved the sofa so we had Sofa Interiors reupholster it. We also ordered a custom love seat at the same time. We're very happy with both pieces. Thank you, Faviola, for working with us to design the new love seat and making perfect fabric suggestions. read more

Sofa Interiors - Like new again! - Furniture Reupholstery Near Me - Santa Clarita, California

I had reupholstered 2 ottomans which came out awful and knew I would have to redo. A friend recommended Sofa Interiors so I went into the valencia location and spoke with Faviola who was so amazing and patient. She understood that it was a redo and really listened and helped me through the process. I was very appreciative that she assured me not to worry it would be done correctly and have that finished look. So, I proceeded to drop the ottomans off at the factory in glendale where I met Scott the owner. He was very professional and kind. I could have just dropped them and left but Scott wanted me to sit on different foams to make sure it was what I wanted. That was so helpful because different foams sit differently. Then we talked about the details of nailheads and piping which he went over with me and by the time I left I knew I had found the right place. Scott really wanted this to be done right for me and conveyed that by the time he took. He truly cares and wants you to be happy with your purchase. I will be going back for all my rephulstery needs. He was awesome and does quality work. read more

After having a horrible experience with a few other companies I was very skeptical at first. I had 5 other companies give me quotes but I felt most comfortable with Sofa Interiors. When my couches were picked up I was extremely specific as to how I wanted my couches reupholstered. They were delivered today and I cannot express how content I am with the work! My couches are extremely detailed and huge, but Scott and his team handled it with ease. I highly recommend giving them a call if you ever need any upholstery work done. Great crafting skills and great work! I had a big project where I have to fabricate wall divider, chair, and two ottoman chairs. They did an awesome job with everything. Prices could be a little higher than what I was expecting. But, I get everything even before the due date. Scott, the owner, is a very nice gentleman and he wants to make sure that everything is perfect. read more

We are very happy with Sofa Interiors. We dealt primarily with Brittany and she was awesome. Very helpful. We bought a custom made sectional and had a few seat cushions made for our iron chairs. The big item was the custom sectional. Brittany helped us with the design and we took things we liked from various couches in their store and made a complete custom sectional. We were able to choose the stiffness, materials, piping and length and depth, making it a one-of-a-kind couch. It took about 4 weeks to have made. WE LOVE IT. I was also impressed that while they were making the sectional, their warehouse/builder called me and made a suggestion that turned out to be very important. He could have just built the sectional to our specifications, but he took the time to call me and made a suggestion. He mentioned if they made the couch just a few inches shorter on one end of the sectional, all the cushions would be the same size and therefore interchangeable. That may not seem like a big deal, but it gives us more options and I was impressed they bothered to call me. I would recommend this place for any custom couch or chair or reupholstering project. Great staff and great quality. read more

I highly discourage a reupholster with Sofa Interiors if you have a large piece of furniture. My husband and I most recently had a large sectional reupholstered with a gray microfiber. Upon completion of our sofa, we were disappointed to see a very visible seam on the chaise! Our sales rep Britt was professional and understanding. She explained the rolls come 54" wide and the manufacturer will always choose an extention piece when the area is larger than the fabric. The back cushion is not large enough to cover the seam as the seam is so far out and a horrible eye sore. We were offered the only way to eliminate the seam would be changing the direction of the nap (which would mean one cushion will look a different color from the rest of the sofa). We did not want to trade one eye sore for another. Our biggest disappointment is had we known and there was communication before the reupholster that this seam was a possibility, we would have perhaps selected a different fabric that would maybe not be as visible. We asked for a small discount for the eye sore and was told "management has not approved any reimbursement." read more

We looked into multiple services to reupholster our 15 year old sofa - not an antique, just a basic functional family room sofa that we were not ready to part with. Every other service was quoting prices 5-10x the price of the sofa when we bought it new. And the over-selling was soooo annoying! And then, we found Sofa Interiors. Scott is a straight shooter. His service and pricing equally straightforward. And the quality of workmanship left us EXTREMELY satisfied!! Highly recommended.... read more

The staff is great and very helpful, a real pleasure to work with. We ordered custom sizes and we didn't get anything close to the sizes we ordered. Every model on their floor has a 36 inch depth with a 21 inch seating area. I wanted 38 inch depth and 23 inches minimum in the seating area. Beware, they have a +/- 1.5 inch allowance in their contract. Because of this we told Tracy we wanted a minimum 23 inch seat allowance. What did we get? 21 inches, just like every floor sample. Sad that I spent so much money to be so disappointed. They don't do custom sizing. Wished we would have gone down to the Glendale store to measure before making final payment. read more

My sofa is lovely, fits my condo, and is a great color! You truly don't know what you need until you talk to the sales woman. She helped me stay (mostly) within my budget and walked me through several iterations and styles. I was actually somewhat overwhelmed and she talked me off the ledge. So many swatches! So many styles! I enjoyed the experience and its so much higher quality than the chain stores. read more

My experience with sofa interiors was the worst experience I have ever had with any business. I ordered 22 cushions to be reupholstered. I gave them my original cushions to duplicate. When they came back which took 4 times longer than they quoted me they had decided to put zippers in the back and to make the ties 5 times larger than my original ones plus they did not use the same thread color so the thread stood out plus the zippers weren't even stitched correctly. It took forever for the owner to call me back when I sent him pictures. He yelled at me and tried to make it my fault? I own a business and would never treat any customer that way. After several lengthy phone calls with this volatile owner, I requested he come to my home and inspect each one of the cushions and take the ones that needed repaired. He refused again and made us return 22 cushions. This was another huge inconvenience to me his customer! He gave me his word that he would inspect each one and make sure they were all to his satisfaction and quality he claims he has...another 2 weeks of waiting and when we got them home and took them out of the bags the stitching was still all messed up. I sent him pictures and emails and all he will say is return them again! I wanted him to give us 10 percent off that he advertises in a magazine but he refuses. Trust me do not use sofa interiors or you will be greatly dissatisfied and greatly inconvenience while you are paying top dollar for his product! read more

This place is a joke. They have furniture that is several decades old and the service is nonexistent. I would have never found this place if it wasn't for GPS. Seriously, if I didn't know better I would say this place is a front for some kind of shady business, it's just not realistic for them to stay in business with a selection that is from a scale 1 to 10 would be -5. read more

I created a couch with the assistance of the Marcia and it turned out great! I was there many times working out the design and feel. It was work, however, a couch should be an investment because you will keep it for years and sit on it daily. I got what I wanted and they were very nice working through this. Yes, there was an issue. When I got the couch, the cushions seemed a little to soft. As was explained to me, the fabric has an effect on the feel of the cushion and mine made it softer than the model. Marcia referred me to Scott, the boss at the home store. He said bring it in and we will check it out. I brought it over and after a discussion and sampling, I changed the cushion. No price change. Three business days later they called saying the cushions are ready. I tested them when I picked them up and they were very comfortable. I was quite satisfied. I thanked him and will continue to do business with them. Then I went to brewery across the street and continued my enjoyment. read more

Went into Sofa Interiors looking for a Sofa and instead found the most beautiful chaise. I have not seen a piece like this in any other furniture store and I've been to many these past few weeks. There are literally thousands of fabrics and materials to choose from and the sales person Marcia is really helpful and really nice. Chaise was delivered today and looks better than I had expected. And one other thing that is awesome...this furniture is not only made in the USA but right here locally...where else can you find that??? read more

Marcia Holmgren is a gem at the Sofa Interiors store in Santa Clarita. She assisted me in choosing the perfect fabric in my price range. There was a back order with my first choice and she tirelessly looked once again to satisfy me. The couch was scheduled to arrive on April 22nd and it was delivered today, 10 days early! Who gets a custom made couch early?? The couch is gorgeous. Fabric perfect. It was manufactured in Pasadena to the customer's specifications. The craftsmanship of the couch is outstanding. We are very satisfied with the work and professional assitance we received from Rose. Beautiful! Thank you!

We purchased our family room sectional from Sofa Interiors in 2005. Over ten years that sofa survived daily use, twin boys, and two moves. It still looked and felt great. When we were ready to purchase a new sofa in 2016 we went back to Sofa Interiors because we loved our first sofa so much. With the help of their wonderful in-house designer, Marcia, we selected two custom sofas, four custom chairs, two ottomans, and 16 coordinating pillows. We also selected two custom window valances. I met with Marcia multiple times before we finalized our decisions. She was always so helpful and knowledgeable. My calls were immediately retuned and all my questions answered. The whole process was so enjoyable. We LOVE everything we purchased. The quality is beautiful and I know our family will enjoy these unique pieces for many years to come. THANK YOU Sofa Interiors. We are very happy and will be life-long clients!! read more

We have a small living room space that made picking out a sofa a challenge. We visited many furniture stores and looked at many sofas, but couldn't find the right one. With the help of Rose at Sofa Interiors Santa Clarita, we finally purchased the perfect custom sized sectional. She was so helpful as she guided us through the process of designing the sofa. We appreciated her advice and suggestions as we picked out the type of cushions, fabric colors, and sofa dimensions. It is obvious she really enjoys helping her customers. We enjoyed talking and laughing with her throughout the process. We love our new sectional and we loved working with Rose! read more

We just stopped in to order furniture today after weeks of looking around, only to be met with a wave of cigarette smoke upon entering. As we got deeper into the store it was choking me so we had to leave. I can't say how dissappointed we are! She clearly had been chain smoking while sitting at the desk. She was on the phone and my husband told her we had to leave because of the smoke and she waived the air in front of her mouth. As we left in shock, we could see her spraying an aerosol can around the store. I feel bad for the people who bought the white, two toned, curved sofa in the front window that has a sign on it to please not sit on it as it's sold. They may not want it if they knew someone was smoking around it all day long. Yuck!!! read more

We contacted Rose about recovering a mid-century sofa and arm chair and not only did they help us find beautiful material, but the work done including new foam and properly piping the items made a world of difference. They are comfortable to sit on now and look beautiful. The fabric seems high quality and should last much longer than the last upholstery job done elsewhere. We would highly recommend Sofa Interiors read more

We had a large sofa made at SI and we were very excited! Very nice peolple. Unfortunately, after spending a lot of money for what we thought was a special piece, we had to spend another third to redo the pillow casings, because the "down" was coming through. The down is actually feathers, so they have not stopped coming through to the surface of the sofa! It looks like we have a chicken coop, the way we pick up feathers on a daily basis. All and all, we spent a lot of money and did not get a quality product. read more

Do not use this business. They promised a 2week time to order fabric to reupholster a sofa. 5 weeks later after calling every day, and listening to excuses, story's and blaming each other, I was told the wrong fabric was sent. After days of working that out I was told my sofa would be picked up between 10:00-2:00. At 4:30 they show up only to tell me they did not have room in the truck! Horrible communication and even worse customer service. Now the fight begins to get a refund. read more

We recently had a very enjoyable purchase thru Sofa Interiors. Marcia was instrumental in assisting us to get exactly what we wanted. She made sure we were completely aware of all options for our custom sectional. We recently had 2 bar stools reupholstered at Sofa Interiors in Santa Clarita. The stools are on a wood frame and have back and seat cushions. We selected a perfect fabric that was soft and comfortable. Marcia told us we could choose a medium firm cushion or go with a firmer cushion. She told us the firmer cushion would be more durable so we made the decision to go with the firmer seat cushions. I also asked that the seat cushions be made 1 " deeper from the original cushions. When they were completed and we brought them home, they were too firm and too high. I would advise when adding additional height to a seat cushion it changes the dynamics of the seat and I would not recommend doing it. I was unhappy with the comfort of the bar stools. We called Marcia and she contacted their factory and negotiated with them to take them back to be reupholstered once again. They agreed to replace the seat cushions with medium foam and make the seats 1" lower. I am sure it was not such an easy task as they had to take them all apart and preserve the new fabric. I did have to pay a reasonable charge to make these corrections. I also asked them to touch up the scratches and worn areas on both wooden bases of the stools which they did and the wood looks like new. We were very pleased with Marcia and the staff at Sofa Interiors for their cooperation and professionalism. When we got them back the second time they were perfect. I would highly recommend them because they will do whatever it takes to satisfy their customers. Marcia is amazing to work with. Thank you Marcia. read more
