Sodabomb is not your usual mix any kine soda from the machine. Anyone remember "suicide soda" or "Sprunch"? Seeing this little stall within the Hukilau Marketplace, next to Polynesian Cultural Center really reminded me of the time when mixing sodas (at McDs) was fun. I wonder if that was the inspiration! I didn't see those on the menu, but they have many other soda creations--including iced coffee, boba drinks, crafted waters, energy mixed drinks, farm to cup specialty drinks, and frozen drinks. Got a little bit of everything! I like how they incorporate Hawaiian Pidgin to name some of the drinks. It's a test to see who is local lol. "Ho cuz, can I get one da kine holoholo and small kine Broke Da Mouth? Shoooots!" That's four drinks right there. Ordered a Pink Plumeria (lemonade and strawberry, guava with fresh berries). With these mixed soda drinks, there's a little worry it might be too sweet, but this was not the case at all. Very clean flavors that were well balanced between sweet and sour. The lady at the counter was very nice and friendly. Sodabomb is definitely a unique place as I can't think of any other place that does this, especially with sodas. Went here to try it out cause my friend saw it on IG. We were going to PCC so it was perfect timing! It's a super cute truck in the PCC marketplace. The workers were really nice too. I don't like soda but they had buttah beer as an option which I do like so I got it. Mine was definitely the best! My husband got like in da coco which was good. Some of the other ones were also good. It's really great that they have so many options to choose from, so no matter what kind of soda you like, you can get something you might like. But even if you don't like soda like me, they have other options like boba tea! If I came out this way more often I would try some of their other things but I just don't live close by. It was a great treat for a hot day and so unique so I really enjoyed that. read more

Came here on our way to camping at Malaekahana and it did not disappoint. There aren't any soda shops in downtown Honolulu so we were excited! I got the Honeymooner and it was definitely 5/5 stars would get again. A mix of Mountain Dew plus some yummy syrups. My friend got the Buttah Beer and she rated it 4/5 stars. It was a mix of root beer but she thinks it could have had more of a cream/butterbeer flavor. Overall would come again! read more

This is a food truck located in the marketplace near the Polynesian Center. But it serves only cold drinks. The kid and I ordered fresh sodas. I forget the name of mine but it had root beer, butterscotch, vanilla, and creme. Talk about rich and decadent! It was smooth and all the flavors melded well. I really liked it. It was so rich that I could not do that everyday, but it was a nice treat. The kid had a soda called "crouching lime" and loved it too. Very tasty. Small sizes are $4 in August 2024. It takes a few minutes to put each together but not too long so we were served promptly, The quality of fresh made soda is 100% better than soda in a can or bottle. I'd say my soda tasted like a milkshake almost but in a good way that wasn't over at least sweet and it really helped me in the heat today. Got one of the boba drinks instead of one of the soda concoction because my bf and I LOVE boba, but next time we'll try one. We got the mango boba tea. It had, what is called Thai walls, aka condensed milk walling the inside of the cup. The drink was pretty sweet. I don't think the mango is fresh, just powder. We make the drive from Kailua weekly for Soda Bomb. Weve worked our way through the entire menu and have now settled on a select few favorites. Purchase the refillable cup for $15.00 and receive $2.00 refills. Its worth it if the cups are in stock and if you are addicted like we are. The staff is super friendly and patient as we were making our decisions. This lemonade was bomb at @sodabomb! I asked the worker what's she thinks about the no worry strawberry drink and she made some weird sounds and said it was her favorite. So I laugh and I ordered the no worry strawberry. Her coworker apologized and said she just really loves that drink. As I was walked away and put my straw into my cup and took my first sip. My eyes lit up and my mouth dropped. My friend seen my reaction and started laughing. I told her it's good! And she was telling my other friend that she should of seen my reaction.
