Sodabomb is not your usual mix any kine soda from the machine. Anyone remember "suicide soda" or "Sprunch"? Seeing this little stall within the Hukilau Marketplace, next to Polynesian Cultural Center really reminded me of the time when mixing sodas (at McDs) was fun. I wonder if that was the inspiration! I didn't see those on the menu, but they have many other soda creations--including iced coffee, boba drinks, crafted waters, energy mixed drinks, farm to cup specialty drinks, and frozen drinks. Got a little bit of everything! I like how they incorporate Hawaiian Pidgin to name some of the drinks. It's a test to see who is local lol. "Ho cuz, can I get one da kine holoholo and small kine Broke Da Mouth? Shoooots!" That's four drinks right there. Ordered a Pink Plumeria (lemonade and strawberry, guava with fresh berries). With these mixed soda drinks, there's a little worry it might be too sweet, but this was not the case at all. Very clean flavors that were well balanced between sweet and sour. The lady at the counter was very nice and friendly. Sodabomb is definitely a unique place as I can't think of any other place that does this, especially with sodas. For sure a must stop while you're in Laie! I'll be back for more! read more

Went here to try it out cause my friend saw it on IG. We were going to PCC so it was perfect timing! It's a super cute truck in the PCC marketplace. The workers were really nice too. I don't like soda but they had buttah beer as an option which I do like so I got it. Mine was definitely the best! My husband got like in da coco which was good. Some of the other ones were also good. It's really great that they have so many options to choose from, so no matter what kind of soda you like, you can get something you might like. But even if you don't like soda like me, they have other options like boba tea! If I came out this way more often I would try some of their other things but I just don't live close by. It was a great treat for a hot day and so unique so I really enjoyed that. read more

The Orange Dreamsicle was an a tasty and refreshing drink. It perfectly balanced the flavors of orange and cream. They also had a wide variety of other flavors that I wish I had tried. They are located in the Polynesian Cultural Center marketplace. If you're considering trying a soda from here, be sure to check them out! This is a food truck located in the marketplace near the Polynesian Center. But it serves only cold drinks. The kid and I ordered fresh sodas. I forget the name of mine but it had root beer, butterscotch, vanilla, and creme. Talk about rich and decadent! It was smooth and all the flavors melded well. I really liked it. It was so rich that I could not do that everyday, but it was a nice treat. The kid had a soda called "crouching lime" and loved it too. Very tasty. Small sizes are $4 in August 2024. It takes a few minutes to put each together but not too long so we were served promptly, The quality of fresh made soda is 100% better than soda in a can or bottle. It's a truck so you find a nearby table, thus there is no ambience. read more

Came to the Polynesian center today and was feeling thirsty so I came here. I got the Dr Pepper one and my sister's got two coffees. I'd say my soda tasted like a milkshake almost but in a good way that wasn't over at least sweet and it really helped me in the heat today. I would recommend coming here if you're in the mood for like a sweet treat in the form of a drink and their men is really really wide so you can truly have whatever you're in the mood for and yeah, I would come here if you're visiting the Polynesian culture center. read more

What a fun little place to try different flavors of soda. They have so many tasty options. I tried a dr pepper with vanilla and strawberry flavors. We also ordered a frozen strawberry lemonade. I usually don't like soda and syrups because it tastes so artificial but the taste here was really good. Grab a drink before going into the PCC to sip on and you're set! read more

Love coming here to get my buttahbeer drink!! the other drinks are good as well the service is good very quick my drink got made. its on the PCC grounds so its consistently busy with tourist coming and going and folks who just is here to eat. it can get pretty busy so go get a drink from here! read more

This place is amazing and really got it right. They know their clientele and cater to them. The serve was so sweet, personable, and gave great recommendations. The syrups they use are great quality which reflects in the flavor of the drinks. We wish we would have discovered this place sooner so we could go back! Got one of the boba drinks instead of one of the soda concoction because my bf and I LOVE boba, but next time we'll try one. We got the mango boba tea. It had, what is called Thai walls, aka condensed milk walling the inside of the cup. The drink was pretty sweet. I don't think the mango is fresh, just powder. The boba is tasteless, texture not too bad. Not the place to got for boba. read more

We make the drive from Kailua weekly for Soda Bomb. Weve worked our way through the entire menu and have now settled on a select few favorites. Purchase the refillable cup for $15.00 and receive $2.00 refills. Its worth it if the cups are in stock and if you are addicted like we are. The staff is super friendly and patient as we were making our decisions. They were helpful to recommend variations and even encourage different options that we may not think we would like as we were going through the menu. The banana bread is awesome as well. We ordered a few chocolate banana bread with caramel drizzle.....ohhhhh so decadent. Love the family owned business and the joy they bring to the community with such an awesome concept. I ordered the honeymooner with extra peach flavoring instead of raspberry because of an allergy. The workers there were very cheerful and super understanding of my allergy. The sodas were so good, I myself had two and my family as a whole ordered 7. It is an outdoor food truck but there are lots of benches to sit on. Very chill vibes. read more

This lemonade was bomb at @sodabomb! I asked the worker what's she thinks about the no worry strawberry drink and she made some weird sounds and said it was her favorite. So I laugh and I ordered the no worry strawberry. Her coworker apologized and said she just really loves that drink. As I was walked away and put my straw into my cup and took my first sip. My eyes lit up and my mouth dropped. My friend seen my reaction and started laughing. I told her it's good! And she was telling my other friend that she should of seen my reaction. Great local mixed drink shop, staff were great and accommodating. Location is perfect for the north shore/western side on Oahu. My wife and I stopped at Sodabomb twice on our 8 day vacation. Also consider we were staying at the Royal Hawaiian hotel in Waikiki so you must be committed to hanging out on the other side of the island to experience Sodabomb and the other gems on the north shore. This place is a hidden gem and I LOVE it. The sweetest employees and the menu is fantastic. We only have Sonic for fun sodas in Texas and we are always jealous of people in other states with soda shops with delicious concoctions. Everything they make here is so good. I had the Auntie's favorite. I liked it so much, we went out of our way to make a second trip so I could have another! My husband had the local boy and s'mores. This place is so'dabomb!! Seriously the best drinks on the island hands down. They do sodas with some special flavors to make it that much better. The friendliest people work there and gave us great suggestions. The girls were so cute and so sweet. I'm a die hard Dr Pepper girl so I got the red raider!! So good! Then I actually came back later and tried the sweet coco- both were soo delicious. Now I'm a regular customer! They're taking basic Pepsi products and adding various flavourings to create some unique combos. They have some great ideas and it's something a little different. Ordered banana chocolate bread here as it did look appetizing when I passed by; tried it and is was delicious. Bread was filling and it has just the right amount of chocolate in there and it was moist. I would definitely go back for it if they still have it and it would go well with some carbonation. They have all these different types of flavors in soda and I would like to try it someday. read more

Pretty cool place located at the Polynesian Cultural Center. We stopped at the the PCC to get malasadas at Jenny's and just walk around a bit. Stumbled upon this food truck looking for something to drink. They add on different flavors to regular soda to make some cool combinations. Prices were reasonable and they have a discounted price for refills. Cool idea and hope we can find something similar here on the mainland! read more

It's all the way in the back towards all the food trucks in the area but can be seen from the road. They do have seating options for maybe 8 individuals but it's a nice atmosphere. The service was exceptional. Needless to say i will definitely be coming back here.

There were some chickens that wandered thru the area as well. They could've used at least one more staff member, but the lady who was there was friendly & helpful. They are a cash only restaurant, though, which is probably their only drawback. When I asked if they accepted cards, she was at least apologetic & stated that there was an ATM down the road.

I don't know how else to describe it, as I see the fruits in their fridge, but maybe they don't use as much ice or they use room temperature liquid base to mix with the smoothies?
