Socorro Diaz is a gifted healer, both in massage therapy and in emotional trauma release. She has helped me understand the profound relationship between our emotions and the physical body-- how the two are intrinsically linked, and if one is out of balance, the other is out of balance. I am eternally grateful for her teachings and how she has inspired me to release the emotions and trauma that have weighed on me for some time, allowing me to feel strong, healthy and vibrant. Thank you Socorro for all you do. My life has forever changed because of you. read more

Socorro is the absolute best. I started going to her a few weeks ago I am 38 weeks pregnant and I never felt better. She is SO in tuned with my body and knows exactly what it needs. I been getting massages since middle school (I'm 29 now) and I never had anything like this, she is by far the best I ever had. Baby Alice loves it too she moves like crazy during the massage and loves it when Socorro massages my tummy. I feel so relaxed and get the best sleep afterwards.. (not much sleep going on when 9 months pregnant) Thank you Socorro for all that you do read more

Socorro is a fantastic massage therapist! My husband and I were on vacation in Laguna Beach, and I was so fortunate to receive a massage from Socorro. She has a fantastic combination of knowledge, skill, wisdom, and experience. She balanced old school and newer techniques to provide exactly what I needed. Socorro did a great job of integrating what I told her of my health and needs with what she noticed on her own. I felt like she helped me find balance, calm, and strength (and I'm a *very* practical person...). On the business side of things, I called/left messages and emailed many massage therapists, asking about their availability, and I heard back from very few. Socorro was one of the few to call me back promptly. She was warm and friendly, but respected my time as we were making arrangements. A few details: 1. Socorro takes community health very seriously, and, consistent with that, she is fully vaccinated. 2. Her studio is in a gated community (about 30 minutes from Laguna Beach), so you'll just need to tell the guard the address you are heading to and your name. 3. Socorro does not accept credit cards, but works with a variety of payment methods, including cash. 4. Her rates are low compared to other massage therapists in the area. I believe she should charge more. I'm so grateful to have crossed paths with Socorro. I wish we lived closer, so I could become a regular client! read more

I loved my healing massage with Socorro! And recommend her to all my family and friends. She started off my session by just sitting and talking to me at her table first. I loved that... so she could understand where my body is mentally and physically. When she worked on me she was able to share/tell/guide me in the way a healer would. It was really special and unlike any other massage I have ever had. I also had some epiphanies during my massage and I was able to let go of so much tension and stress not only physically but also mentally. I actually felt my shoulder blades become un stuck and become like angel wings and I could fly again. It was when I was so stressed with everything Covid going on in the world. She gave me all these beautiful nuggets of wisdom that I was able to relax into. You have to just go for yourself to get the downloads/wisdom that is particularly for you. Enjoy!! read more

I want to take the time and post a review about the services offered by Socorro Diaz because what she has to offer and what she gives to each of her clients is beyond a price tag. I first visited Socorro searching for relief of the anxiety and turmoil in my life. She began her session with a very open mind and an intuitive massage. As she worked my muscles the pestering issues catapulted forward cascading and spilling over allowing me to see the actual culprits for the anxiety, insomnia, and turmoil. I felt safe in her nonjudgmental demeanor and was able to work through some tough issues that probably would have taken me see several months to sort through with regular talk therapy. I have had a few follow up sessions since then and she never disappoints. She's a gem, a true healer that will gently but firmly guide you to your own truth. read more

I love going to see Socorro, she's more than a masseuse. She helps to relieve the tension in your body and supports the release of trauma from the cells of your body. What a difference it's made in my life to consistently go to see her; I can feel the difference in both my physical body and in my emotional body. Very grateful for the gift that she has and the gift that she is to the people that find her. read more

I loved seeing Socorro! She is such compassionate, caring person from the depths of her heart. She's located in a serene cottage up on a hill with an amazing view. Horses are right outside her door. The minute you arrive, you feel at peace. Her massage was wonderful and intuitive and even included hot rocks. She guided me to visualize and release a lot of what I was holding onto from the past. I will definitely be coming back to Socorro someday! She also recommended an acupuncturist who is now helping me balance my body. Thank you Socorro!! XOXO read more

While visiting with my daughter, I was given the gift of a massage before my next day travel back to Virginia. Not being familiar with the area, it took me a while to find the location (it's really easy to get to, I just missed the street and am NOT use to the CA traffic). Needless to say, I was tense and somewhat frustrated by the time I arrived. When I met Socorro we chatted for a few minutes and she was able to ease my frustrations right away. Prior to the session, she inquired if I had any problem areas that needed extra attention and right away I began to feel more at ease and knew I was in good hands. I have experienced a few massages including one while traveling in China. I can attest Socorro truly has gifted hands! Her use of essential oils, warm stones and her massage technique is outstanding! I not only love and admire her abilities, Socorro is a genuinely caring person with a beautiful heart for people. When I departed, I felt like a new person! I was totally relaxed and my body felt FABULOUS! I look forward to seeing her the next time I visit. read more

She is such an amazing soul! I have gotten two trauma release massages during my pregnancy and they both were so different in terms of what it brought up for me to heal and work on. Yet pushed me to go deeper within myself and my body. The mind body energy connection is so great and Socorro really puts that into practice with helping you release the tension in your body mind and spirit. Very grateful for her energy and time. An amazing energy worker and body worker. Helped me heal and integrate the parts of myself that I was having trouble with myself. read more

Socorro's healing massages are incredible. She started the session with some discussion to deepen her understanding of where I was at that moment in time. It was clear that she was tuned into my body and what would be most beneficial for healing throughout the massage. She really takes her time to be present in the moment, and I have never felt rushed during my time with her. After the massage, she also took the time to talk with me and share her wisdom, which I have continued to think of many times since my first visit (4 months ago). I am deeply appreciative of Socorro and the amazing work that she does. read more

A completely rejuvenating spiritual experience with Socorro all while sinking into her caring loving hands.
