Walked in for a smog test and the shop is super clean & cute! Angie is super sweet she offered me something to drink while I waited for the quick 10 minute smog check. This will be my go to smog check place, love love love that it's women owned!! read more

The place I usually go to for smog checks doesn't take appointment, so you just show up and wait however many people you need to. Last minute I checked yelp to see if there was somewhere else nearby with appointments. This place had great reviews and I was able to book an appointment online same day which was really convenient. It's woman owned and the owner is so welcoming and warm. The whole process was fast and harmless. I was in and out in the time promised. I think the ease and welcoming environment was worth the price. I will definitely be back. read more

Angie is awesome!! Super friendly and quick service!! Fun and comfortable waiting area. A++ in my book!

My college-age daughter (who lives in Costa Mesa) needed to get an emissions test, so I did some scouting on Yelp for places nearby that I could recommend. I called and spoke with Angie, who was very friendly and helpful. She told me my daughter didn't need an appointment and that she could just walk in. I noticed there was a discount for checking in on Yelp so I mentioned that to my daughter. When she arrived, there was no wait, so she got right in. It took about 20 minutes and everyone was friendly. After mentioning Yelp, they immediately gave her a discounted price of $40. Good service. Good value. Good night. read more

Luz was very kind and hospitable. She offered some sparkling water and the place was very cozy. I sat on the brown spinny chair which was good for those with restless legs lol. My brother recommended the place and it was way better than expected. $68 was the only downside but well worth it for the thoughtful service. read more

I found this place on Yelp since I was on the search for a Star certified test-only station and I am glad I found this gem. When I arrived I was greeted by Angie and she quickly got the paperwork going. After filling out all the paper work she asked me to help myself with a soda or water that is available for the customer. She thoroughly inspected my vehicle and smog check in about 20 minutes all while carrying a enjoyable conversation with her. Angie is a professional and knowledgeable and I absolutely recommend this place for your smog check needs. Thank you again for a great experience! read more

I came here to get my smog test. I dreaded having to get a smog test because it felt like it was going to be a lot of work. I was drawn to Soco Smog Test because it was women operated and owned. I called to make an appointment and they answered right away and I was able to get an appointment. When I arrived, the staff was very friendly and it was such an easy process. They offered me water and a place to wait. I was in-and-out in 10 min or so and they explained what to do afterwards. Super easy process! I now have a place to go to do my smog checks in the future. Quick easy place to get a smog. Really well organized, Luz helped me out. Made my visit so easy, she had an opening shortly after I called and I was able to get in and get necessary smog quickly. Shop is clean and has a nice waiting area with comfy seats and ac. Location is right off the 405 Incredible price for a smog, I thought I was going to pay extra in this zip code. Service was great will be back 5 stars read more

Convenient Costa Mesa location just off the 55, 73 or 405. Quick friendly service. Clean shop and waiting area.

I put out a request on Yelp this morning for a Smog check. This company responded to me first and I am so happy that I used them instead of the others who responded. The owner Angie was super nice and got you in and out very quickly. The location is close to the 55 and 73. If you are in need of a smog for your regular or Hybrid car, this is the place to go. The price is great as well. read more

Now that's how a business is run and operated. This young entrepreneur perfects her trade. Super fast service although I popped in with no appointment. Very very friendly and courteous, yet 100% efficient. And the shop feels more like a home than a workshop, despite all the modern tools and equipment. I will never do a smog test but here. read more

Upon walking in, I was unsure of what to do with it being my first time there at this establishment, but thankfully, I was greeted by Angie, who was very kind and helpful in walking me through the check-in process. Angie was very welcoming and offered me a beverage while I waited and let her work her magic on my car. The entire atmosphere was calm and inviting, and I would definitely recommend Angie and her expertise to anyone looking for them. An absolute must-go for your smog needs! From when I called to make an appt to when my smog check was complete, they provided excellent service and courtesy emails. The waiting room was spacious, very clean and nicely decorated seating areas, this is not your average smog check place lol. It is a woman-owned & operated business, green business certified, star certified, and can smog check on hybrid and diesel vehicles. And.... they love dogs =) I highly recommend everyone to get their smog check needs from this place. Thank you Soco Smog Test for a great experience! read more

Helpful is an understatement! My air intake hose had a hole in it and she let me know if i'm a bit handy i could probably replace it myself. Normally not something i would even consider, but because she suggested it i gave it a shot. $20 and a few youtube videos later, me and my partner had done the replacement ourselves. I'm sure that would have cost at least $100 at a shop. She looked it over after and said it looked good. I also just dropped in for both my initial inspection and the re-inspection and she squeezed me in really quickly. I would recommend making an appointment tho to not mess up her schedule like i did. read more
