a place this snazzy, you know it's ran by a woman I HATE doing car-related things, so I asked my husband to book my smog test. This man researched and chose this one bc of ratings. When we arrived I was shook by the decor and cleanliness. I've NEVER seen a carport look like this the attendant was also super nice and got us taken care of quickly, and it was a good thing bc apparently the girlies already know about this place! By the time we left there were two other girls lined up for their smog test. read more

Angie went above and beyond. Look no further this place is Affordable, Fast, Friendly! Angie answered my call and when I arrived she checked me in and also on Yelp to get $15 off smog test. We were offered drinks while we waited! She did her thang and noticed my cars computer under the hood wasn't fastened. She grabs a bolt laying around in the drawer and secured it. So sweet Its the little things. She also told me how well maintained my car was other than that I passed my smog test. 10/10 read more

Came here for a smog check, unable to pass due to a crack in the air intake hose. With the discount you need to pay an additional fee to retest. Left and came back after it was replaced (by myself) and it passed. read more

This was the best SMOG experience I have ever had. I called and got an answer right away and drove down to the shop. I am notorious for waiting until the last minute to get my registration taken care of every December, and this year I needed to get a smog check done beforehand. I usually go to a place about 10 miles from where I live, just because that's the place I always go to...I decided to do a quick search on smog stations near me. Soco Smog Test is less than 3 miles from where I live, so I decided to stop by after a work luncheon the other day...just to see if they had any openings. Angie greeted me when I walked in and asked me to check in with my information on a tablet. She offered me sparkling water while I waited, and then she inspected my car, and completed the smog test (and even complemented me on how I maintain it!). Right now, the website has a digital coupon for $41.75, so including the smog certificate, my total came to $50. She was even able to send the results to the DMV on my behalf. I think I spent 20 minutes, at most, from the time I stepped foot into the business, to the time I was driving away (the smog test itself only took 10 minutes, with ~5 minutes checking in, and ~5 minutes to pay). I will refer EVERYONE I know. Working with a woman was a breath of fresh air. Thanks to Angie, again!! read more

Angie is great. Brought my daughters car here before and now bringing mine. She identified something and pointed it out to me that had nothing to do with my smog. She's professional and clearly knows what she is doing. Def recommend. read more

The Vibes: Angie is awesome! She's super friendly, so you feel comfortable and at ease while you wait for your service. She's also professional and knowledgeable and clearly explains the whole process while she examines your car which I really appreciated since it was my first time getting a smog check. Super quick service (I was out in less than 30 min max) and very fair/affordable pricing! Bonus points that this place is also a local, woman-owned business too. You can tell Angie knows her stuff and she makes you feel totally at home in her shop. Super easy to make an appointment online and check pricing ahead of time, which takes so much hassle out of having to call shops directly (which was a pain point when I was searching for quotes). The Location: Very easy to find, off of the Baker exit on 405/55. It's on the street right after Mitsuwa market. The shop is clean, neat and even has complimentary drinks. 100% recommend! read more

Fabulous place to get a smog! Love supporting a woman owned business! There is usually a coupon on the website so check that before you go in, even if you don't it's super reasonable to get tested. Also be sure to make an appointment they're very good at what they do here and it's a small shop so it can get busy fast. The service is quick, the paperwork is filed immediately and the gal who did my smog was super knowledgeable and really nice l. Both my cars needed smog check at a smog check only station so came back to this awesome shop. I'll be back in another two years!

I googled smog check and found two places right next door but one offered a discount so I went there first. I pulled up and was "greeted" by 2 men, one asked what I needed while the other stared. I showed the coupon he offered and immediately he said my car doesn't apply because it's a truck(Jeep Patriot). Ok. Bye. Right across the street from them is the other place, Soco smog test. As soon as I pulled in, I knew I was in capable hands. I was acknowledge with a smile and told I would helped in just a moment. I watched this badass female work on 2-3 cars, BY HERSELF, with ease and efficiency. She took care of 4 customers, including myself, in less than an hour. The shop was clean, nicely organized and the price was affordable. I highly recommend Soco Smog Test, not just because it's female owned and operated but because she's professional. read more

Most pleasant (and least painful) smog check experience I've ever had - as much as smog checks can be pleasant. Online appointment process was super easy and minimized wait time at the station. Streamlined self check-in process on a mini-tablet. Technician/Owner was very courteous and attentive and truly cares about the environment. Coupon offered on website is an honestly deal, not a bait like many others. Highly recommended. read more
