Fast, pleasant, great service. Clean shop and very helpful. Welcomes women and makes us feel safe and comfortable.

I recently moved down to the area and so when my tag renewal required a smog check, I wasn't sure where to go. When I was checking around, I discovered this gem and after doing some research, I knew I wanted to support it! Angie was so nice and efficient. It only took 10 minutes to do the check, therefore I was in and out so quick, which was awesome since I was on my lunch break. There is also a coupon on the website, for a discount, that can be shown at your appointment. Overall, it was a great experience. So if you need a smog check in the Orange County / Costa Mesa area, go support and say Hi to Angie! read more

I had an appointment for a smog, and wow what an easy process! Website was clear to navigate, they also had a coupon if you showed it on your phone prior to service, and the staff was super friendly. Even as a guy, I am not a fan of dealing with car stuff, but was super happy that this process was easy and with great pricing! Will certainly be back again and support a woman owned and operated business! read more

Local OC Business and Woman Owned? Heck Yeah! Lets support our female business owners! Thank you to Angie at Soco Smog Test for getting me in and out of the shop quickly even though I stopped by almost 30 minutes prior to closing. There's a coupon available in the photos section. Be sure to show that to Angie when she checks you in and before she processes your payment. The coupon is for $29.75 for a standard smog test + $10 more for midsize vehicles & larger. Angie was quick at handling the 2-3 other cars that were ahead of me for the smog test. She provided excellent customer service by checking in on me, updating me on the status of the cars she's working on and making sure I was comfortable. She even pointed out that I could help myself to a free drink from the fridge. Sweet! I'll be back for all my future car needs. Thanks again for the great experience! read more

Amazing experience! Extremely great since I have a baby, she was very interactive with him. Also was able to keep him in the car watching his cartoons while she worked on the smog! Will definitely be taking my other cars to her once I need them smogged. read more

Found this place by chance on Apple Maps and so glad I did. Angie was not only super nice and attentive, she was the only smog shop I reached out to that actually responded and didn't feel like I was annoying them by simply asking what appointments they have. Also, support woman owned business! I was in and out within 20 minutes, we had great small talk and she explained everything she was doing. read more

Got me right in, provided very efficient service. Nice shop with a nice waiting area. Very pleasant experience.

This is a small shop that is operated by the owner. I have taken multiple cars here and the owner is consistently nice and quick with her work. Prices are reasonable. She is also knowledgeable as one of my car is a Porsche and apparently, it is a little different or more difficult to test the car. She had no problems and I was done in 15 to 20 minutes. read more

Soco Smog Test is a great place to get your required smog check. The service is great . I would definitely go again and recommend.

I have been bringing my vehicles here for years now. The service is always great and generally speedy. Even if she is behind a few minutes, she will always keep me updated. The pricing is very competitive and well-worth the value. I highly recommend Soco Smog for your smog needs. I also love supporting women-owned businesses. Angie is a one-woman show here and clearly a hard worker who deserves our business. P.S. The decor and plants are a nice change in ambiance when doing anything related to car maintenance. read more

I was looking around on Yelp for a place to bring my truck for a smog check and the 5 star reviews here really caught my eye. I looked up the website and found this was a woman owned and operated shop which made me feel so comfortable coming in by myself. The shop itself is so cute and very friendly with benches to sit and a little mini fridge with water available. I was in and out within 20 minutes and that was with another car in line in front of me. Please consider this shop if looking for a smog check! read more

Quick fast and awesome service. Been here a few times and they always do a great job. Definitely coming back

Service, friendly, prompt and quality and speed were great. Will be back to bring more people to come here:)

I came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was great. Service was fast an efficient. There was no wait so I think it was the fastest smog test I've ever had. The place was super clean and tidy and had some beautiful and healthy plants. The business owner mentioned she had been doing this for over 10 years so she was super knowledgeable when I had questions. I highly recommend this place! read more

Angie is at the top of the smog game. Her level of service is one that all businesses should aspire to have. I'd bring all my cars to her if I had an arsenal of vehicles. DO NOT SLEEP ON SOCO! read more

Somewhat hard to do a review based off of one visit. Even harder since you really only need to visit a Smog Check place once every two years or so. I brought my Prius here. Why do Prius' need smog checks? I'm not sure. Well, if I am forced to do a Smog Check, I'm glad I did it here. This little hidden gem sits at the very last spot in a row of car repair garages. I called in the morning to set up an appointment. No one picked up but someone actually returned my call. I don't even get call back from my brother sometimes. It's the little things right? This place isn't your usual Smog Check Station. You won't find a person with a half buttoned shirt holding half a sandwich in one hand and a cigarette in the other like some of the other places. No, you go in and the owner greets you and has you check in. The garage is FREAKING GREEN. Literally, it is green. You've gotta see it to believe it. Like, bookmark this place now and just go see it. The place is women owned and operated. The owner is left handed too. If you want to support a business that is owned and operated by women, come here. If you want to support a woman that is trying their best in a male dominated field, go here. If you want to support left handers, go here. If nothing else, if you want to see a FREAKING GREEN garage, come here. If you are thinking "I'll visit that place next time I need a Smog Check two years from now, don't. Go there for this one. Who knows if the shop will be there in two years. It may be that she will move on to bigger projects but for now, she's there when you need her. GO SEE THE FREAKING GREEN GARAGE, SERIOUSLY. read more

Angie, it's always a pleasure going to your shop. You're very quick and accurate. I have been taking my vehicles to you since you have opened and will continue as long as you are there. Thank you again for the service today and will be back in a couple of weeks with another vehicle. read more
