Sometimes getting a smog test can feel a little mundane, so it's refreshing to go somewhere that makes sure your experience is more than ordinary. Soco has a really cool little vibe. You feel more like you're at a coffee shop rather than a smog place, they have coffee too!. Angie (hope I spelt that right) was very friendly and very quick. If you need a smog. Come here! read more

My car was due for a smog test and the place I used to go to is now permanently closed. I was happy to find this place. The owner, Angie is super nice. Her place is welcoming. I made an appointment online, for the same day and the website made scheduling easy. The price is fair and her website has a coupon you can use and show on your phone. I will be back and highly recommend. read more

super sweet and fast! Will be coming here in the future and love to support women owned businesses! very happy with the customer service :)

So incredibly grateful that I found this business. Woman owned and operated means I will come here for anything and everything that I can. They smog hybrids and diesel and provide an immediate certificate. Show up for this business don't buy the Groupon online just asked if it could be the same price to support small women owned business so it's like this read more

Highly recommended, hands down! Angie was super friendly and helpful! Made a same day appointment online using the website, arrived and had the SMOG test completed in no time at all. Affordable price compared to other nearby locations. Love that it is fully owned and operated my women too, on top of being eco-friendly!! Will be sure to come back here for all future SMOG tests. read more

There was literally no wait, I pulled right up to the shop. Angie was super friendly and made me a cup of tea while we did paperwork. She went out her way to track down a part I needed at the shop next door and saved me a trip back home. People next door even checked on me and asked if I needed water or anything while I waited. Noticeably good customer service, I'll be back. read more

Recently moved to the city and my usual smog check place was now too far. I looked up local places and saw this was highly rated so I decided to give it a try. Angie (the owner) is super helpful and kind she checked out my car letting me know it would take a while so she walked me over to the waiting room after offering refreshments. My car was being difficult and didn't pass at first but that was no problem for her. She offered to extend up to two weeks for a free retest and finally I passed. This place is worthy of its rating!!! read more

Great spot to get a smog test! I booked an appointment online same day and was able to make it in the next few hours in the afternoon. Service was super quick and I was in and out in 15 minutes! I'll definitely be back in the future if I have to get a smog check again. read more

Came down without an appointment to get a smog check. I bought a Groupon offered online beforehand. This changed the price to $29 plus fee for state certificate. Owner/ operator was very friendly and efficient. Was in and out in 20 minutes. Waiting room was better than most for mechanic place. Only opportunity is was confusing who to talk to when I arrived. Had to ask around. read more

Time management was on point, staff was friendly & hospitable, and the waiting area was spacious & comfortable. I was a drive-in for my smog test, and out quickly even tho there was an appointment for someone else at the same time. I'll definitely remember this spot! read more

I called the business at 2:30 PM on a Saturday to double check their hours. The owner, Angie, informed me that they closed at 3 PM. But she then asked what type of car I had and when I told her she said they could probably complete the smog test in 10 to 15 minutes if I wanted to come over soon. I got there about 2:45pm and my smog test was done by 3:00. They wore masks, had socially distanced seating & hand sanitizer and a very friendly dog. Super clean & had some toys & books for the kiddos if needed. I will for sure go back for any future smog tests. The bonus is it's a woman owned business which I am happy to support. read more

If you need a smog test, this is where to go! It's a woman-owned business and Angie is amazing. She is professional and easy to work with. The owner is super friendly and is very attentive, offering us refreshments even before we got started. She works efficiently and I got my smog test done in less than 30 minutes. A one-man show who seeks to please. It was super quick and painless. I called to set up an appointment and he said he could see me (with only 15 minutes til close). He said he would wait for me if i was running late. Luckily I wasn't late but to know he was flexible gave me peace of mind. He will honor the groupon rate without the groupon. That's good stuff! It was a rainy day so he met me at my car with the umbrella and let me take his umbrella into his waiting office - another plus. You never know what you'll get when dealing with the automotive industry but this guy is a stand up one. I would definitely be returning for my next smog check. He also is well connected to other auto businesses on the block so I will definitely be asking for references. read more

Would definitely recommend this spot to everyone! Will was super fast at responding and answering all my questions prior to my appointment. He made it so easy to schedule a time and even offered to stay later/come in earlier to accommodate my schedule (honestly, where does one get that kind of service nowadays?!). My smog check took around 10 minutes and Will took care of everything from start to finish! I didn't even need to bring my form because he already took care of all the nitty gritty just with my car. He also let me know about my car battery and how I needed to change it soon which I really appreciated as someone who knows very little about what goes on to make my car run.. thanks Will! read more

Guys, I was greeted by the cutest dog here! I found this place on Yelp real quick and didn't think to read any reviews. It was pretty cool to see a sign that this establishment was run by women and the owner was really nice. She asked if I had a coupon and told me I could use the one on Yelp, and offered me a beverage. I was in and out pretty fast and already recommended this place to 3 friends while I was in the waiting room. Will definitely come back again. read more

Just found my new favorite smog check location! When I received my renewal in the mail with smog check indicated I was dreading having to go do it. I was able to make an appt online and Angie was such a delight to work with. I arrived and wasn't sure where to park, when she came out and greeted me and even knew what time my appt was. The shop is super clean, has free drinks, and the cutest pup to help pass the time. I cannot give this place a better review, 11/10!! Next time I need a check, or anyone else I know needs one- this is the place I recommend. read more

I highly recommend SoCo for all your smog test needs. The owner Angie was extremely professional and thorough. I have had many, many smog tests over the years and I have never seen or experienced someone who was so focused and in tune with the work they were doing. Angie even pointed out things I should address that had nothing to do with the smog test. Again, if you need a smog test - - regular or STAR - - this is the place. Great price. Very conveniently located. Definitely going back when my other car comes up for its smog test renewal. read more

Fast! Nice little waiting room. Great discount with an online coupon! Highly recommend.

I found out about Soco when I took my Prius next door for some work. It was perfect because I needed a smog right after. The owner was super nice and helpful. Took my two little girls with me that day and she had an area just for kids to entertain themselves while she performed the smog test. I thought that was very thoughtful of her to think of the little ones. Nice decor, very clean and professional. Will definitely be coming back to Soco every time I need a smog. Highly recommend this business. read more

Wow, what a great place! I had to take my car in for a smog check and after seeing all the great reviews I had to see this place for myself. I checked out the website, saw that you could make an appointment, and was sold. As a cherry on top I also saw that she held classes to teach women how to work on their cars - pretty cool! I love going to places that whose owners have a personal mission, it makes me feel like I am part of achieving their dream. I got to the shop at my appt. time, was greeted by a cute shop doggie, and Angie was absolutely wonderful. Very friendly, and the shop's waiting room was very neat and clean! Great place to wait for your car's smog test to get done, but it took all of 15-20 minutes for my test to get done. Very great place, highly recommended! Thanks Angie!!! read more
