Saw this woman owned and operated shop on Insta at just the right time as I was coming due for a smog check. Dealing with car stuff as a lady can always be intimidating. But SoCo smog made me feel right at home. I made an appointment for the same day on their website, and was in and out in 20 minutes. The shop was clean, comfortable and offered refreshments. Yelp strikes again. Having put off my smog check for far too long (clock ticking on needing my tags renewed), I yelped a few options close to my office and Soco pulled up up with a 'Verified License' badge so I decided to give them a call. Will answered with such a friendly and helpful energy that I decided to head right over. He was right, full process was just about 10 minutes (note I was the only one there but just call ahead and he can let you know if it is a good time to come in, or will set an appointment) and his professional, positive attitude shined even in person. I lost my DMV paperwork but he said no problem, and was able to submit my info via my VIN #, etc. Whew! I was also surprised by how cheap it was. I feel the last one I had years ago elsewhere was more. And this time I was actually handed paperwork/proof which was a nice touch. Thanks Will! Keep being you. read more

This was an absolutely great experience from start to finish! I initially found this place on Yelp and loved that it was woman owned and operated so I requested a quote through Yelp and received a response within minutes and made an appointment to come in 30 minutes later. When I arrived I was greeted by Angie's dog who is so sweet. There was another customer that needed to be checked out so I made myself comfortable in her waiting area which was clean, comfortable and homey. My smog check took only 15minutes but the wait was totally enjoyable with her dog and comfy space. Angie was very helpful and let me know about a recall on my car that I didn't know about. Will absolutely return and recommend SoCo Smog Test to anyone needing a STAR certified smog check! read more

Very friendly service, quick, and much cheaper than a dealership. There is no reason to go anywhere else, go here from now on!

Great place to go for a smog check. Found this business based on positive Yelp reviews. It was easy to make an appointment online, and find a coupon on the website. When I arrived I was warmly greeted, my car was seen straight away, and I had a lovely chat while I waited the 10 minutes it took for the check to be done. This is the only place I'll get smog checks done in future. There's a small surcharge for credit so bring cash or debit. But come to SoCo smog!! read more

Super sweet, friendly, and patient lady who helped me. I believe her name is Angie. She didn't make me feel bad or judged about my car at all even though I know it's not in the best shape and she was willing to work with it to her best abilities. I went here two years ago and came back again and I love how cute inside it has gotten! It also had upgrades such as available water, candy, and a check in ipad. Heard theres a cute shop dog but it was hot so I understand why I wouldn't see them. Angie offered me a nice ac spot too. Recommend this place to anyone. Especially if your a new car (or new car girl) owner and is shy and don't really know how it works. She is very helpful and patient to explain. read more

I brought my daughters Honda in to her. Her use of Technology, Appointments, check-in and check-out are far superior to any typical Smog shop I've been to. Angie actually seems to appreciate her customers and her business should do very well as long as she can handle the increased business she deserves and will likely get. read more

Little did I know that this would be an incredibly awesome experience, with an incredibly awesome woman and a BEAUTIFUL smog service. Blown away by how friendly and kind Angie (the owner) was and I felt like I was taking my car to a spa day ha ha. I LOVE that this business is local and WOMAN owned (way to go, Angie!). The owner is on site and providing a 5 Star experience from start to finish. The garage is so nicely decorated, it really feels like an elevated vibe. There is a reason this place has 5 Stars!
