Worse property management I've ever had to deal with. To start they conned us because our credit "wasn't very good" (it wasn't the best but it wasn't bad) so they said they would rent us the property of we paid 1500 more for a deposit and 100 more a month then they had listed the home at. At the time we needed a place asap so we just did it not knowing what a horrible experience we were about to be a part of for over the next year. The constantly did not fix things appropriately and kept blaming all the issues on the home owner that to this day we aren't even sure was a real person. After our year lease was up, they notified us that the home owner wanted to move back into the home and they would not renew our lease. We found a new spot and I just happened to look up available homes and saw the house back on the rental sites managed by none other than the lying con-artists Soco Management. Cliff is a liar and a horrible person with zero integrity and his only concern is his money. How they treat their tenants is criminal and they should not be allowed to to do business as a management company. Save yourself from a horrible experience and stir clear of Soco Management. They are courteous and professional at all times, and endeavor to make my life easier by taking care of all the stuff that makes my job as landlord more difficult. Knows how to deal with all situations etc. I own multiple rentals and Cliffs company manages every one of em. My contract with SoCo prop is that they are to take care of the rental monies and I would take care of any repairs if and when they came in. Recently my tenant Amber R started to fall behind on rent and then all the damage repair calls came in. I had to send over one of my employees to my rental on many occasions. Eventually sub contractors had to be called in. I was inform that these repairs were mostly caused by physical damages. These damages to my home were then attempted to avoid paying rent. My repairmen were stood up on many many occasions as the tenant would schedule appointments and then fail to keep them. Eventually after the husband went to jail and rents stopped being paid I had to higher an attorney to evict these people from my home. The house recently went through a major remodel prior to (Amber R.) Moving in and they managed to destroy all my landscaping and pool equipment, stab holes in the walls, and cabinets, break all the glass wardrobe doors, damage the laminate flooring, had 5 dogs when the rental contract only allowed two, never picked up the dog feces, left a totaled Mercedes in the garage that her husband drove through the neighbors fence and hit two cars while under the influence of alcohol. I HAVE BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS AND A VERY DETAILED LIST OF DAMAGES, Her husband physically attacked Cliff and tried every option to get Cliff to hit back and Cliff maintained his professionalism. All in all I invested over 50k into my home and they managed to destroy it in 8 months. Many damages totaling over 15k to 20k thus far not including past rents. I have before and after pics of my home and I can honestly say that I am at a loss for words. Now for the positive outlooks; I have my home back, and please if you ever decide to higher a property management company, use SoCo property management, and let them control every aspect of the home, Cliff will treat your home just as if it's his own. He has full knowledge of construction repairs and business management. SoCo Property Management had a house listing that I was very interested in. I contacted them right away and answered a few questions, they replied with an appointment to view the house the following week. A day before my appointment they text me to confirm. The next day they text me with a different time slot than my appointment and it ended up being an open house with a large amount of other people. I did not think that was wise during Covid. I looked at the house anyway and I loved it. Before I left I asked Cliff(the owner of SoCo Property Management) how to apply, he advised the entire group that everyone would have an equal shot as long as you got your applications in by end of business day the following Monday. I sent my application in the following morning which was a Sunday thinking I had plenty of time. I was very surprised when I got an email Monday afternoon that they had already received three applications before mine and I wouldn't have an opportunity unless one of the other applications didn't pass. I responded to the email that I received that it is unfair to change your rules like that. I've asked a few times for an explanation as to why Cliff was not being truthful and cannot get a response. Nothing worse than an untruthful property management company, I feel sorry for whoever has to rent from these guys. read more

This is an update as a renter through this business. We initially thought things were good they worked with us, we worked with them on the house not being ready as stated after they rushed our move in date. We've contacted them several times regarding issues in the house as far as major fixes example the dishwasher not working, security cameras that are included in the house not working due to the owner not leaving the DVR for them, the pool service has been almost non existent even though it's stated in our lease, the lighting in the yard that is advertised on their rental ad does not work and the owner always says they'll fix it but never shows, the original owners leaving belongings in the attic when they were supposed to be removed within 1 month of our move in, the microwave was removed for a fire hazard but the wall was never repaired or installed a hood vent for the stove. Cliff always says his wife Sara is a huge advocate for the renters and gets things done but when you talk to her she is rude and does not care about the issues and says she will follow up and never does. She makes it seem like your phone call is a giant inconvenience to her even though this is her job. Their excuse for not fixing things is "the owner is hands on and quirky and will not let them make the repairs." So I'm not exactly sure why they have a management company in place if they DO NOT manage the property or issues. They are extremely rude and do not care about the tenants or issues. So if you're looking for a company to take your money and not actually manage the property so you can rip your tenants off this is a good bet for you. If you're a renter STAY AWAY for the sake of your sanity and health. There will be no telling how much you will lose with this company as a renter. I can not believe the lack of morals they have considering they are renting to families who have kids that could be greatly affected having the health concerns of the pool not being taken care of. read more

My husband and I own a second home which we were trying to rent and manage on our own for a while. The entire process was overwhelming with our busy schedules. I live in Orange County so I didn't have a lot of time to drive out to Riverside and check on my property so Cliff did it all for me.
