Our home warranty sent these guys here to fix a leak in our "jandy"? valves. Nice and efficient! Husband spoke to him and had nothing but praise for this guy. He was impressed at how perfectly clean and well maintained our pool was, very kind to say! Its a huge deep diving pool so its a big beast. Long story, so I'll just hit the highlights. Last Thursday, our Hayward DE filter split its top, spraying water all over. We called the home warranty company (I really hate doing this, but it's payed for ...) and they hooked us up with a random service, who scheduled us for Tuesday between 8am and 4pm. (I'm not a fan of "We'll be there sometime today. Maybe.) In the 115degree Las Vegas summer, not filtering the pool for almost a week is very much not a good thing, but we didn't have much choice. I opened the filter up and used some super sticky tape to patch the inside of the dome where it was split. That knocked the spray down to a trickle, but it would last a few days. Maybe. The gap was gaping ... Tuesday came and went, the first pool service was a complete no-show. We called the home warranty company, who cancelled them and sent us to SoClean. A few minutes later, I got a call from Jim at SoClean. He said he would be out first thing the next day with a new filter. I got a call from him at 8:00am Thursday asking if we were OK with paying for the plumbing changes ($120) to switch from the DE filter to cartridges. No problem! Missed a call from the home warranty folks asking me to call back. Spent almost an hour on hold with them, just so they could tell me that SoClean would be my new repair service and to expect a call in the next few days. They were surprised when I told them that SoClean had just pulled into the driveway! In about an hour, Jim cut out the old filter system, set up the new one, re-installed all the 2" PVC piping, explained all the details of operation, checked everything out and was gone. Jim came out for a service call from our home warranty for the timer and possible pump issues. Replaced the pump and identified the actual issue (filter is dirty and needs new cartridges). Jim showed me everything he was doing and explained how things should be operating. He also found an issue with our vacuum. Very patient with all of my questions. Professional, honest, and clearly had a lot of knowledge and pride in his work. SoClean will be out go to for repairs from now on! read more

I just closed on a house that's about 14 years old with a pool, and I had no idea how to operate the pool equipment. I called 4 different pool companies to set up an appointment to check out the system for any needed repairs and information, SoClean is the only one that responded! Ok, so business owners are not come by today with such incredible recommendation as I will make tonight for Jim, with SoClean. I can say without reservation that I'd hire him for any qualified job, on the spot! Not only did he blow me away with his service and expertise, but I actually feel inspired to be a better person, after tonight. It's Sunday (and normally I would never spend my S afternoon writing a review) and this review comes only minutes after getting off the phone with Jim. Let me keep my experience short and sweet: He returns my phone call (unexpected, Sunday night) within minutes of my leaving a message that my spa emptied and my new pool equipment ceased to function (and I programmed most of it myself). He informs me that I live too far away, that his company does not service my area but proceeds to ask me to walk him through my pool problems (he does this without any solicitation on my part). He gets excited and tells me that he will have me up and running within minutes but that I would need to first text him a picture of my equipment. He calls me right back and walks me through pulling off my electronic valve, running a couple of tests and then manually adjusting the valve for the spa fill. He correctly diagnoses and isolates the problem to a bad electronic valve, gives me a good service referral for the future and tells me to call him back with any other problems or questions I may have. And in the mean time, I have my pool, spa and cleaner up and running again until I get the valve replaced (which he also gave me detailed instruction for replacing, over the phone). All this, complimentary over the phone, on a Sunday afternoon. And his Scottish accent makes him sound even that much cooler! You can't even find this level of service at a high premium, these days. 110% recommended!!! read more

It takes extremely good service or extremely awful service to break my hectic schedule to write a review. But, this time it's warranted. What you don't find too often in these industries is genuine people who actually care about the service they provide. Well, I accidentally found it through my home warranty out of all places, to fix a pool that had become a money pit. So much so, I was contemplating selling my home. TRUE STORY! We spent over $2,000 on leak detection, check valves and automatic valve replacements of the whole system, only to be left with the same problem (a spa back flowing into my pool). This problem not only cost maintenance fees but increased my water bill by $200 a month for the past 6 months. I won't ramble, but it's been one of the worst home issues we've ever had. Then, I get a call from Jim telling me in a thick accent that he's going to fix my problem. I didn't believe him and he proved me wrong. It took him 30 minutes to do something several other companies tried and failed. And yes I will list names...Alchemist, Splash Pools, Silver Valley Pool and Spa Repair. Every time I called every single one of these companies to tell them I'm still having the same problem, they didn't return calls or reply to messages. Apparently, my problem was too complicated. Jim thought outside of the box and saved me from throwing this house on the market and $1000s of dollars. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this company and for simply CARING about a troubled homeowner's swimming pool. I would recommend Jim, for anything. My pool was a mess this year since my puppies at the cover I didn't have one for the winter. I spent a couple hundred dollars on chemicals to fix the algae problem with no results. My wife found Soclean on yelp and I gave them a call which was answered on the first try. Jim was courteous and polite, he said he may be out that day but most likely it would be the next day since he had a full schedule already. Well he called back a couple of hours later and said he had some time, so told him that would be great. When he arrived he looked at the pool and tested the water, then he gave me 3 options with prices. I chose the one that fit my needs and he got started right then on draining the pool. The next day his crew finished and we have a sparkling clean and well balanced pool due to the detailed information Jim gave me for a good startup. So Clean LLC just finished acid washing my pool. I had a severe green algae problem and Jim was very professional in describing how his company would clean my pool and restore it to a pristine condition. The pool was drained and then completely scrubbed. Chemicals were added and the result was fantastic. The water is crystal blue and looks like new. again i have used "so clean" jim. his work is fabulous & quick. once before he emptied and cleaned all of the hard to remove stains from my pool & spa. & out of the kindness of his heart fixed my skimmer problem at no charge. his workmanship & honesty is refreshing. 2 years later i called upon jim again @ "so clean" to ask him to come over & give me a price to remove the calcium buildup around my 17,000 gallon pool & spa. he came over that evening before dark measured and gave me one of the lowest estimates. 2 days later he came & did a wonderful job, cleaning & sealing. he also repaired some loose tiles on my spa. god bless & keep him always. something wrong??? hire jim at "so clean". read more
