This is a crazy little place. I am so glad I read the other reviews here or I would have not stopped, even in my coffee deprived haze. You see, it is in a gas station. And, it's literally in a small corner of said station. The barista was cute and friendly and warned me that I probably didn't want to add that extra shot to my latte as it's already a quadruple. At $4, it was a bargain and seriously, it was the smoothest coffee I'd had in a long time. The pastries looked good as well. They also had kombucha on tap. If this had been a conventional coffee house with comfy seating and free wifi, it would definitely merit five stars. But then it wouldn't be so quaint. This is an interesting spot. Maybe the only place I've ever been where the barista will also give you $20 on pump #6. The coffee had an interesting flavor. Very distinct. The breakfast burritos were yummy - there were 4 choices including bacon, sausage, chorizo, and veggie. They had a neat selection of pastries as well. They seemed to brought in by a local bakery. There were a few seating options, but since this is an operating gas station, i opted to take mine to go to avoid potential noise. All in all, a great place to stop if you're nearby. The space inside is a half and half split between the gas station and the coffee shop. The space is clean and would be good for studying or conversation, but there isn't a lot of space to go around. This is more of a quick eat /drink environment because of the lack of space/how cramped it is of more than two people are sitting down. Customer service on point. Vanilla latte on point. Sriracha and tot burrito was so good that I regret not getting something else for later. It's in the gas station! Lol. It took me a minute to find this place. For some reason I assumed it was in the strip across the street. Society Coffee is small and quant. The staff is always really friendly. I've become a big fan of the nitrous coffee. Its cold, strong bold flavor, and quick to grab if you're on the go. This is the cutest little shop. I was a little hesitant due to the fact that it's connected to a small gas station but they used their space very wisely and have plenty of seating options and their pastries are delicious! The coffee isn't super sweet or overpowering like Starbucks or Dutch bros. We love this local coffee shop! It's our first choice! read more

Coffee was very very good. The kombucha here was very good as well. I feel like the tacos are kind of a weak spot. The potato egg and cheese one was good but the bacon had kind of an odd taste to it. The first time I came here I met a dear friend (in 2019) and I walked up to that shed that says "Society Coffee." I text my friend and said "IT'S CLOSED!!!!" It wasn't. For those unfamiliar, it's actually inside the gas station. That sounds scary to some, but it's not at all. There's a quaint space for sitting to study, converse, or just have a fast break with your cup of coffee. Of course, you can always enjoy something from the gas station in this place. The baristas are really cool. They def have that "I'm too cool to work at Starbucks" vibe, but THEY ACTUALLY ARE! I am always blown away by how kind they are, and how skilled. For those that are thinking "I know what I like at Starbucks and I dunno how to order at these places...." You can literally tell them what you order at Starbucks and they will suggest similar things. You won't be able to get a coffee slurpee covered in whipped cream and chocolate chips, but you will get a Superior beverage. Think: If Starbucks is Applebees Bar, this place is On Tap. If Starbucks is TGI Fridays Bar, this place is Tipsy Oak. They have little bites, like Macaroons the like. Also, free wifi. Break your routine and check it out, you won't regret it. read more

I'll admit I was a little suspect at first because Society coffee is inside a gas station. But some of the other reviews led me in anyway. I prefer my coffee black, so a cup worth reviewing is a little harder to come by. But Society served me a cup of the Wendigo, pour over, that deserves a review. The roast was flavorful with a subtle, almost cinnamon-like finish. The young man who served the coffee was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and seemed to care about pouring a cup I would personally enjoy. If you care more about the liquid inside than the logo on the cup, save your Bucks and drop into Society! read more

Based on what I ordered, I ordered cortado and chocolate chip muffin for quick lunch today. The price was definitely reasonable. The atmosphere was unexpectedly urban vintage feel to exist in Exxon gas station. They have small sitting area for 2-4 ppl. Light grey stone is their main interior theme to give that hip, craft-coffee spot vibe. For coffee quality- They seem to use one of beans that are roasted from infamous Avoca. My cortado had perfect ratio of warm milk and espresso. It had smooth texture and pleasant caramel-like taste at the end. Getting to this cafe via main street from hwy 183 east bound is tricky as they shut down the north bound main street. You may want to take ector street if you are on 183E. The ambience is not the same as Starbucks, but the coffee is just as good. There are several side items around to add to the coffee and it's a nice little pitstop on the way to where you might be going. It seems a little strange inside of a gas station but there are several little areas to sit either while waiting or even after your coffee. Service has always been good. read more

This is my go to for my morning coffee. I get the vanilla lavender latte w/ oat milk and it's pretty much my favorite year round, iced or cold. Their breakfast tacos are pretty good as well, I'm not a huge fan of their salsas if I'm gonna be honest but then again they're known for their great coffee not their breakfast tacos. Easily missed if you're not keeping an eye out for it. They are a shared space with a gas station so that's pretty convenient. They use beans from Avoca but also have a rotating seasonal too. When I went they had a Turkish coffee available. I am not a morning person but the coffee and the barista made it better. Very friendly. After leaving Maui at 10:30 pm and arriving around 9 am in DFW only to get a rental car for the next 5 hour leg of my trip, I needed coffee. I am a big supporter of local business, especially small shops. However... this shop is in an old car wash behind the gas station. There is no way of knowing if it's open or closed. A sign or window would have offered some solace. But it was just too sketchy for me. Maybe put a chalkboard outside? Literally anything would make this look more inviting. read more

I have sllwlh been getting into coffee like drinks sk checked this place based on Yelpers. It was inside a Exxon gas station that I passed by often. The gas owner is same owner. It is a small gas station compared to other places. I got the chocolate latte which is really rich. Alsk got the chicken waffle and siracha breakfast burrito. I would not get the burritos again.. $4 wrapped in aluminum made it soggy. Just regular gas station breakfast to me. I would come back to try the other coffee and since I live nearby. I think the seating chairs is not functional in a tiny space layout since I wouldn't see myself sitting in that tiny gas station without any views.. good idea but not that layout or size read more

Oh, in a perfect world every gas station would have a fabulous craft coffee shop inside like Society. It's just like a little gem you find out of nowhere. Like the shiny pearl inside of an oyster. Anyway, I'm clearly digging the concept. The coffee is fabulous, and the chai tea lattes are the perfect afternoon pick me up. Definitely get you one with their delicious almond milk. They have a few bites to eat too, like pastries and what not and I also hear they do breakfast tacos. And hello, the icing on top of my cupcake which is kombucha on tap! Holy Kombucha at that! IN LOVE. I stopped in here because I liked the name and wall mural on the back building - don't let the fact that it's a gas station scare you away! My go-to is their nitrous on tap with vanilla syrup but it really doesn't even need any extra flavor. The coffee itself is really smooth. And then there are the breakfast tacos. Sriracha tater tot breakfast tacos. I've only had them once because by the time I usually roll in, they're already gone but the barista offered to make some for me. It was really kind of him to go out of his way! They have other flavors, which I hope to try but for now, I highly recommend the Sriracha tacos! read more
