I've been making my cook-at-home meals here for about 6 months and it's made my husband feel like he's living with a rockstar chef. Sometimes laziness leads to good things.

I slather myself in fine fibers, material from London, and threads from France. My linen is made in Ireland, as is alot of the lace I own. My favorite cross stitch designs are intricate lace projects and medallions, that are migraine causing, and require expensive magnifying glasses to see the tiny stitches. So, when I began my cake decorating course, and googled cake ideas, and found Sugarveil. I immediately recognized the design, it certainly looks like lace I own. Being a beginning cake decorator, and wanting to wow even myself, I didn't consider the price. I just knew I wanted to make a cake with lace on it, and this was my answer. Then, I found out that Sugarveil was developed and is produced in the Kansas City area (about 30-45 minutes outslde of KC). without a doubt, I ordered it, knowing, in crafts, you get what you pay for. Sugarveil is an uncomplicated product that is better explainable by going to Youtube and viewing the Sugarveil channel. Sugarveil is a type of confectionery product that acts like a combination of melted marshmallow and pourable icing. When placed in a detailed mold (this situation, the mold is lace), and when set, and removed from the mold produces sugar lace. The opposite side of the mold, produces sugar fabric, that is stitchable, per pictures on the website of the Sugarveil wedding gown. There is also a cool electronic device that does perfect cake piping. It is pricey, and I didn't order it. As for product availability, it is available on the website, and in a few stores, none of which are local. The inventiveness of Sugarveil presents it's heads above other products for what it does, and it's cool that it's made and distributed in this area. I'll add pictures later today.

Even though it wasn't a coffee shop, they were very hospitable and made me some pour over drip coffee from their stash. I was really impressed how nice they were. I also had some of their Iced Drip Coffee, tasted very crisp! Mainly this place is for the Lab, which does marketing for the local coffee and high end spirits. Also the main part of the business is fixing coffee machines. Additionally they have a little room full of different coffee trinkets and things. Really worth the visit to meet these nice individuals. If I would ever need any machine to be fixed, send it to them!

So, I knew right were to turn! There is plenty of parking. Since its at a dead end and you can park on the street. The staff there was spectialier! They know what they are talking about. I am a professional baker in Connecticut. Today I opened a box of Rabbit Creek coffee cake…read morestreusel muffin mix 9.7 oz and prepared it. I found dozens of pieces of foreign matter throughout the batter. They resembled tiny squares of foam. I called the Sunflower Food Company in Lenexa, Kansas at 913-894-2233 and left messages for 3 different people at the company, including quality control. It has almost been 8 hours, and no one has called me back. This product should be recalled. I've contacted the FDA government regulatory agencies but have not heard back. I also found a phone number for the Rabbit Creek brand but that number has been disconnected.
