Let's be honest here: even if the food had shown up at that point, it would've been cold and disgusting -- and I'd be sitting there eating $28 worth of soggy, late food (including a $3 tip) with zero explanation. So I told them I wanted to cancel. What I got instead was a manager who: * Gave me no apology * Gave me 72 hours for a refund * And literally ended the call while I was still speaking This wasn't a small order. This wasn't me being impatient. This was over an hour of waiting, being misled, and then dismissed like I was the inconvenience. I've already filed a formal complaint with corporate. And just so we're clear -- I didn't just cancel the order. I drove to a completely different Sarpino's and picked up the food myself. Because this location? Never again. If you value your time, your money, or your patience -- go anywhere else.

It's always enjoyable when local concepts come to play and Clustertruck is as local as you can get. RIP chef Matt but his legacy lives on through yummy decent priced food (excellent priced if you catch them running a half off special). Let's start off with the tacos, the dish I ate the most recently. These were divine and were dripping I'm flavors, the sticky sweet Korean barbeque pork wasn't chewy and provided the perfect Bute of succulent meat inside the white corn taco shells. The slaw was a perfect accent to the tacos with the right level of acidity and freshness. These tacos were top notch! Now, onto the salad which wasn't your basic bed of greens. The creamy homemade dressing was stellar with tangy notes of lemon and earthy Tahini. The crispy lightly breaded fried chicken strips made this salad a bona fide meal with the additions of salty parmesan and bacon it was a near perfect combination of flavors. The burger and the sandwich aren't as fresh in my memory but I remember one being a chicken parmesan and the burger being a barbeque bacon burger. Both weren't as unique as the other two when it came to flavor profiles but, they delivered comfort. And sometimes that's all food is supposed to do- not break boundaries but provide with a warm hug. Clustertruck is a solid choice, super fast and reliable sometimes, their prices are a little steep but, you're paying for convenience and you can usually find some stellar deals! This may be a Clustertruck but it's definitely not a Cluster...well you get the rest!

All you need to do is order at least $50.00 worth of meals and you're good to go. Shipping is prompt and your order will arrive packed in dry ice, in a large polystyrene foam container (which is itself wrapped in plastic). Not the most environment-friendly packaging. Secondly, using their website to place orders is a snap, and I also like how they will email you discount codes on a regular basis. I've also been given a quarterly rebate (in the the form of a discount code) based on the amount of my orders during that time -- kind of a loyalty bonus. Finally, the meals are OK, and I like that they are generally healthy and on the light side calorie-wise. Although they are pricier, the Signature meals are where you will find the highest quality entrees. Some meals can be prepared in the microwave, while others require cooking in the oven (at least based on the instructions printed on each container). It's also convenient that their meals can be kept frozen and not have to be consumed with a seven day window. Overall, I think that Magic Kitchen is definitely worth considering as an option to add some variety to your diet. Some of their meals are better than others, though.

Disabled Medicaid recipients deserve better treatment…read more My experience with Magic Kitchen has been deeply upsetting, and I would caution anyone receiving meals through a Medicaid waiver program to document every conversation and billing agreement. I received meals through CareSource and was assured that I would not incur additional charges for them. I also had documentation showing my meal services were authorized through December 31, 2026. Despite this, Magic Kitchen subsequently demanded payment, stopped my meal deliveries, and threatened to escalate collection of a disputed balance. The company's CEO, Greg Miller, acknowledged that the billing statement I received did not even identify which month I supposedly owed the money for. What disturbed me most was the treatment I received as a disabled customer. I wear hearing aids, and during a telephone conversation, a Magic Kitchen employee asked me to remove them. Rather than addressing my communication difficulties, company leadership subsequently reprimanded me about my tone. I also received an email in which, to the best of my recollection, the CEO claimed someone had told him I wasn't paying other providers and suggested that the situation was my fault. That raises serious questions for me about who is sharing information about my financial dealings with third parties. My patient-liability dispute has gone before an Ohio Medicaid state hearing, and I have filed formal complaints seeking regulatory review. Yet Magic Kitchen continued demanding payment and imposed a deadline for escalation while the matter remained unresolved. And Jobs & family services told me I pay my home health agency not Magic Kitchen. Denisha from Caresource called Magic Kitchen with me on the line and spoke to Eva. She told them they aren't allowed to bill me and they need to take their billing issue up with Caresource. Yet they continue to harass and bully me. I understand that businesses must follow Medicaid billing requirements. What I do not accept is treating a disabled recipient seeking clarification as an adversary, particularly when multiple agencies have provided contradictory information. People who depend on home-delivered meals are often elderly, disabled, or medically vulnerable. They deserve patience, transparency, accessible communication, and dignity. I could only eat 30% of the meals due to my food allergies. I gave the rest away. The ones I did eat taste worse than tv dinners but free is free. I flat out told them if the meals were ever NOT free to notify me immediately as I would cancel. I'd rather buy ramen. My experience with Magic Kitchen left me feeling bullied rather than supported. I would not recommend this company to anyone relying on Medicaid waiver meal services.
