Nice staff that truly cares about the youth and books that are classic and modern. This library has something I have never seen before. An entire separate wing for 0 to 10 or 11 years olds. I am impressed. When I walked in there they have two to three staff working in diffrent areas with the young children. Walk over through sliding glass door and then walk into a separate larger two floor wing. Here you find the friendliest security guard named Jerry. He sits in front of the teen's computer youth area. Then walk over to the adult area fitted with computers for the public to use (with a valid library card). Youth coordinator is fantastic. He is energetic and bringing great programs for the teens. Librarians are very sweet and always ready to help. I am very happy to call this our new home away from home.

Both sides of the tracks have ticket machines which is great because I cannot stand when I have to haul a$$ and make it over to the other side when im rushing with only minutes to spare before the train comes. Meeting with the Union President and his cabinet for union members and Union Delegates ( Shop Stewards), for most of the upper Westchester County Post offices, held once every other month from 18:00 to about 20:00 ( 6-8 p.m.) at this location for advanced knowledge and updates pertaining to the Joint Contract Administration Manuel (JCAM), and the Local union contact. Union members can also obtain information pertaining to the M-39, which is the post office by laws and the M-41, the carriers delivery manual. Hot food is served after every meeting at this location and pizza is served at the off site location in white Plains NY, a Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner is served in the appropriate months ONLY AT THIS LOCATION. Carriers sit and talk shop about the climate of their own office and how each shop steward handles particular and similar situations. There is a small uniform space for Union members to donate used or new uniforms and shoes for carriers to select from and it's free. All grievances pertaining to NALC members are processed here, whether it's a contractual grievance, violation of members rights, or defenses from the Postmasters and supervisors accusations. There is normally a cabinet staff member present Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. pm to 16:00 (4:00 p.m.) unless they must go out on an office visit concerning a union member. Shop Stewards work closely with labor relations and safety to acquire knowledge to intelligently consult, lead and guide their constituents through a healthy postal careers because the Steward is the police of the office.
