I found online that Village of Palmetto Bay has this service, so I did the appt online but had availability after school starts, my husband called and spoke to Melissa who was just amazing and beyond with answering our questions. We were able to get an earlier appointment and came in today, and met Melissa in person and she was kind as can be. During our visit today Idalmys was the clerk who helped us and she was wonderful. She took our daughters picture and assisted us wonderfully. This was the best passport experience and overall service we've ever had.

It's absolutely beautiful and quiet, an upper middle-class neighborhood with beautiful parks, nice-sized lots, and with a very neighborly/community feel to it. I appreciate that you are on top of Code Compliance, in regards to lawns, garbage cans, and other violations that make the houses look bad and lower the property values. Once, our grass was too high and we received a notice (the horror!), so we had the grass cut the following day. Hey, things happen and its the summer, the grass grows quickly, you know. ;-) The police department is always patrolling the neighborhood, which always makes me feel very safe. Not to mention the fact that most of them are really friendly and helpful. We had an early New Year's party and they had to visit us for a noise complaint. But they were never rude or aggressive. Just very courteous and nice asking us to please keep it down and not to disturb the neighbors. Which we did. Now I did happen to notice Village of Palmetto Bay, that the park across the street from our house has their grass really high currently. It's actually so tall that it looks like a wheat field. Just left from there about an hour ago or so. Got to say the usps technician Mari working there is…read moreso rude! She was training another tech and in the process of filling out passport documents I hand try handing her a document and she shoves it away, try asking her a question wouldn't let me speak. She kept raising her voice at me. She was in such a rush and handed me papers to fill out missing items on the passport sheet handed it back to her and she said " are you giving me the correct one for each person" " you are the one responsible for you own document" such a rude nasty person that was in a rush very messy and not organized. She should be fired, that's no way to treat a customer that spent $500 for passport renewals. She canceled the order and asked me to step aside waiting an addition 20 minutes until another gentleman of usps tech by the name of Chris was such a nice person and was very helpful. Such a rude and nasty person Mari was, didn't even have a name tag on, very unprofessional and poor technician. Hopefully she gets fired!!!

It was well organized since before the base stopped having the air shows after the hurricane hit it and then covid and all... but since they restarted it's even better. The vendors are a bit overpriced... which in "event vendors talk" translated into "prices are fair, but more expensive than in the real world". The security, as you might expect on a military base, is pretty tight. the port-a-potties are extremely well organized (you can't really call them "clean" in an event this magnitude, but they are as close to be as you're going to find. Three things: 1) wear sunscreen, and 2) BRING A CHAIR. Also, if you are sensitive to loud noises, 3) bring earplugs... planes make noise. supersonic planes make more noise... and cars with plane rockets are even noisier... I used to think no one needed this to be told to them, but I was wrong.

Went to the 2nd floor, to the Property Appraiser's Office, which was crowded with people waiting to be seen. I said excuse me to the employee to ask my question (she had glasses and brown hair, was working on 2/22 around 2pm), and she was extremely rude. She said I had to sign in. I said I don't know where to sign in, and I only had one question, and based on her answer I don't even know if it would make sense signing in and waiting. She said she didn't have time to answer questions, and that when people ask her one question, it's usually followed by 3 or 5 more questions. Very rude, dismissive and curt. I understand you're busy, but you're in the customer service business. It pays to be kind! Especially as a government employee.

the free parking is always packed so expect to park far and walk…read more there is security checkpoint at the entrance into the building so leave all your weapons and illegal contraband inc ur favorite hash pipe in the car or you will have a new set of problems to deal with aside from the original reason why you are here in the first place. the reason for the 2 stars is based on and because the whole system stinks like a fresh pile of horse manure... the online system is a joke and i truly believe that it's by design... you are supposed to be able to take care of your traffic citation online whether you hoose to contest it or not how can you do anything if that stupid citation doesn't even pull up and this is waiting up until the last day before the 30 days is up!?!?!? the bright side is that if you show up in the morning on a thurs, chances are that you will get served (pun intended) shortly. there is an old "take a number please" sign of what used to be their old ticketing system and has since been replaced w an electronic ticketing system on the wall in across from the old ticketing system. they were at a018 and in 40 mins i got called (a055) so that deserves one star. so be patient! and stand up for your right if you believe you have been wronged! and if you know you are guilty as sin, then get your best poker face going! either way, good luck folks! btw: the other star is for the parking spaces. they are actually spaced out nicely so that minimizes your car from getting dinged and/or scratched.

South Dade Regional Library was and will be a very awesome place for kids (and adults) to get lost…read morein books. I got my library card last year. This place is nice and cozy to sit and relax. This library also has events going on for children. Compared to the other library in the area (Palmetto Bay Library) this is absolutely HUGE. I recommend to every single person you've ever met in Homestead, Princeton, Goulds, South Miami Heights, Naranja, Leisure City, Florida City, Redland, and Cutler Bay. Awesome library!!!!!!
