The con that 3 miles won't get you anywhere far but it's still available as an fyi. Check in was super long. Unless you pay for early check which is $50. You will wait. The pro to this is if you get there early enough a full breakfast is available with your stay. They also have a free evening happy hour that starts at 5:30p for cocktails and appetizers. Ambiance is pretty with inside views on each levels. Palm trees and fountains and swimming pool outside is refreshing as well. Room was spacious . Living room area with sofa bed. Microwave and refrigerator. Balcony view as well. Water is hot and beds are comfortable. Cruise transportation with the hotel is available for $12 per person Check the website for pricing and information.

The evening happy hour had very fast bar tenders and even sodas for kids. The evening snack included: pretzel bites, salsa/chips, veggies/ranch. There were a lot of people but the line moved fast . Airport shuttle was a bit hard to find. I guess the shuttle stops at a few different doors and if it's too crowded, it just keeps going , so find one of the earlier stops to ensure a seat. The pool area was large and the hot tub was nice. Plenty of seats, there was a lot of airplane noise being do close to airport but I couldn't hear it inside the hotel. My only complaint was that the bathroom was only accessible through the bedroom in the suites . So if people were sleeping on pull out couch , they had to come into bedroom to get to bathroom Rooms were clean and decently updated

Absolutely amazing hotel stay before my cruise. This hotel is clean, convenient to shopping and…read moreplenty of restaurants/bars. Walking distance to a Publix, the mall, bakery, etc. The hotel checkin is on the 6th floor, the first floor is mainly a seating area and concierge. They offer free hot breakfast, mini fridge and microwave in the room, cruise shuttle at time of this review is priced at $12 with pick up times at 10a, 11a, and 12p. If you miss breakfast, they had breakfast bags with fruit and other grab and go items. You will need your room key to access the laundry room and guest floors. There is no carpet in the room I was in (basic king- not the elite level) and pets are not allowed. Service animals only. The hotel has a lobby bar, three restaurants are located right next door (Sproutz, Batch Gastropub, and Shahs of Kabob). I dined at Sproutz and Shahas of Kabob and both are good, but they are not affiliated with the hotel. I stayed 3 nights prior to my cruise and I really enjoyed my stay. The air conditioner worked with no issues, pillows are very soft, bed was firm, but not uncomfortable and I slept better in that bed, than my own. There is a master light switch to control the overhead light in the entry and bathroom. You can operate them separately (it just takes some flipping of lights to figure it out). Decent water pressure and nice, hot water at night. Morning time I suggest getting your shower in early. Hot water is still present but not as hot as it was the night before. Tip- I took my shower at 5/6am the morning of checkout and the water was hot and perfect for a nice shower before leaving for cruise. Staff was always smiling, friendly and willing to assist. Carlos at the concerige desk is very helpful, ask for his recommendations and he is more than happy to assist. The 7th floor has the laundry facility, but many machines were out of order. This is going on my pre cruise hotel list because it was the perfect hotel and the perfect location. It was about a 15min ride to the cruise port and airport. The cruise port ride was booked for 8am, so I beat the 9am bumper car cruise port traffic. The video I posted is short and quick, but a glimpse of the room

We had a two day stay before heading out on a cruise. An extended vacation if you will. The service was phenomenal! We stayed on the Elite Level which provided extra goodies, and benefits. Sharing a picture below of what they define as the elite level and the benefits included. The location is perfect, in the middle of all things Brickell/Downtown. We were surrounded by restaurants/eateries, coffee shops, stores, the park, city centre you name it! Super convenient because we didn't need to call a Lyft to get around. So you better believe on the days we did go out, we got our steps in. It's giving HEALTH! 2026 who?! We are starting NOW honey! Okay, back to the review....hot (and cold if you're into that) breakfast was served each morning for free! You read that correctly. Free food honey. I mean you did pay for it so why not go ahead and eat? Your business not mine. Non-smoking hotel. Pools. Fitness center. The whole ordeal. A little store with snacks, drinks, and whatever else you feel you may need or want. I should also add that the hotel prides themselves on being accessible. Let's move towards cleanliness. Because cleanliness is next to what?! Godliness! Okay, I see yall! The room oozed of cleaning products. You would have thought the staff had just left from pouring Clorox and whatever other good smells needed to make a space smell delicious. Oozing with fresh aromas! The bed, not mine, but theres, was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in when traveling. Hotel beds typically don't bring out the best in me, I am in fear of all beds that are not my own. Laugh if you must but I am who I am! However, a soft bed with clean linings - sign me TF up. The elite levels are on the 14th and 15th floors. They provide robes and slippers. Did not wear the robe. Read what I said about the beds and sit with that. Anyway, I did wear the slippers and they are about as thin as a sheet of loose leaf paper lmao! The chair rolled on top of mine and ripped the back of it so they lasted about 12 hours for me. #SelfInflicted I know. It's a nice touch to have in your hotel room though. Me personally, I travel with slippers. As I bring this review to a close, I want to highlight the staff members that assisted during the stay. Mr. Ernest, Russell, and everyone else at the front desk that extended a warm welcome and consistent assistance. Thank you again! One hiccup that was addressed immediately. They have an "in-room dining option." This particular policy states that you can order food and have the food delivered to your room. Okay convenience! And accessibility! Well I ordered some food from a nearby eatery and the delivery person was not allowed up. "We don't allow people to come up to the rooms for safety reasons." Heard. And appreciated. Truly!! They value safety. My issue was when asked about the policy in place, being asked if I had a medical condition to where I couldn't come down and to get my delivery. While a relevant question, that is something I'd recommend treading lightly around. You never know anyone's health/medical condition. Furthermore, if your policy states one thing then every staff member needs to be on one accord. The issue was taken care of and the person was able to deliver my order. The front desk member was also not rude just inquiring. I appreciate how quickly the matter was resolved. If you're headed on a cruise or you're in need of a nice hotel that is conveniently located, Hampton Inn Brickell is your girl (or boy), be who you are!

Other beds were nice and comfy. - Breakfast was a mad house, but good food. - Evening reception was crazy too. 2 drink coupons per person and long lines for the bar. The hotel definitely looks nice inside and out, and the rooms are big, but otherwise, there is a lot wrong with it: 1) Our room was completely missing lights in the bedroom other than two small lights over the sink. There was a place for lights by the bed with an electrical outlet, but no lights there. The room was very dark at night. 2) A piece of the trim in the main room fell on one of us when we were unpacking. It was not secured to the wall properly. 3) The free drinks were not as advertised in the photos. There are photos on the website and around the hotel of fancy looking cocktails. When I showed the bartender one of these and asked for one of those drinks, she just laughed. False advertising. 4) The breakfast was pretty meh. Food quality was not as good as normal at ES hotels, things ran out fast and did not replenish, and when I told the people at the omelette bar I can't consume milk and needed them to make me regular eggs with a clean spatula and grill, they acted annoyed. 5) The peloton bikes in the gym did not function. All they needed was to be connected to the internet, but despite asking the front desk THREE TIMES to have someone do that, they never did. 6) The timeshares salespeople in the lobby are very annoying. 7) The pool no longer has the waterfall that's in some photos. Sort of sad. All in all, definitely not worth $350+ per night.

Although, the Embassy in DC does throws a nice Orange Fest during April which is always fun. When you park and arrive in the building they ask you to sign in before you can enter any of the offices. For a small country the renewal requirements are pretty extensive from the passport picture, which has very specific sizing requirements, to the detailed application. Had to make an appointment online to see them first. You have the option of having the passport sent to you (but you must bring a self addressed prepaid envelope by one of their pre-approved vendors). I didn't bother. I just went back to the office to pick it up. I received an email telling me 2-3 weeks later it was ready for pick up. Well 3 months later I finally had a chance to pick it up. I made another appointment for my little one to get her initial passport too. The office has a waiting room with a TV which is a nice convenience. On the two occasions I've visited in Miami the office didn't seem too busy either. Since it's Brickell consider coming via metro. It's a little more convenient than dealing with the rush hour traffic.

All visitors for such services need to make advance online appointments which can become rather confusing since the web site is listed under "Dutchappointments" but more specifically being http://www.rsonac.org/other-services/8---other-logistics/schedule-an-appointment.html. I would also say confusing because of the interchangeability of words for the country, as being either Holland or the Netherlands but with the people being referred to as Dutch. Indeed, I onetime recall one of our many not to bright (and we do have a lot of them) U. S. Customs agents hauling one of my friends away when we were entering the United States. I enquired what the problem might be and was told that when questioned he had said he was from Holland but his passport indicated that he wasn't at all from Holland but in fact from the Netherlands. Go figure that one! LOL! Anyway, the Dutch or Netherlands Consulate Services, whichever, occupies a small but comfortable space on Brickell with the staff being very multilingual. Besides doing passports or merely attending to matters involving citizenship, they are friendly enough to chat with anyone interested in visiting Holland, having some brochures and travel information available and able to answer most any question you may have.

However, there seems to be a disconnect between the app (offsite) and the actual property (onsite). I checked in, added my card, and chose my room in advance--only to arrive and be told I needed to provide my card again, and the room I selected wasn't available. I was told the guest had been there since 2 days before, which suggests they extended their stay. If that was the case, I should have been notified in advance rather than being treated like I was mistaken or unreasonable. Room: The room felt dated and had quite a few noticeable imperfections. Very small. The bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned--there was visible dirt and hair left behind. The bed's underliner was stained, and there were multiple cosmetic issues like gashes, chips, and dents throughout the space. The shower had very low water pressure. We ended up doing some cleaning ourselves just to feel comfortable, which really shouldn't have been necessary. Staff: The front desk staff was pleasant, and Ariel in particular was friendly and helpful. However, the housekeeping and maintenance teams seem to need additional training, especially when it comes to cleanliness and guest readiness. Check-Out: Smooth and easy. I was able to extend my checkout time without any problems, and I received my final invoice before even leaving the city. Parking: Unfortunately, there is no self-parking. Valet is offered at a steep $60 per day. We opted to park on the street and feed the meter every 3 hours, which was still more affordable. As expected, parking in Miami Beach is a challenge. Overall, I was only in town for a wedding and didn't expect much however, I expected more for Hilton. Especially on Miami Beach where there are many boutique hotel options I went with a brand I knew. Mistake?

Came into Miami for business and we've had a hard time finding our, home hotel, when we're in town…read moreand we thought we'd try the EB. Has a distinctly European style to it, but I'll tell you we booked through Expedia and I've got a suite room that had a separate setting area with a desk with two sliding doors king size bed with a decent TV. I will say that the additional sound bar is weird because it doesn't sync up with the TV so you get a little bit of a lag or an echo and the TV doesn't turn up by itself nor does the TV mute and allow you to play the sound bar separately so there's a little bit of a disparity. Also, we had trouble with our air-conditioning, but once I pointed it out within an hour, the maintenance man had fixed the air-conditioning for the whole fourth floor because I was in a room about 15 rooms away from my coworker and both of us had a hard time sleeping last night because the lowest temperature we could get the room was 73 which doesn't sound bad but if you're trying to sleep you need to be in the high 60s. Another weird thing is they don't have a refrigerator in the room, but they have a refrigerator on our bar and so I had to get creative with putting my water and stuff in there to get a cold. I'd rather just have a fridge. But the big one is the shower shower is just amazing. It has as many showerheads as you could ask for I think two on the ceiling for coming out of the wall plus the one that is mounted to a hose. My room also had a bidet, but I didn't give that a shot but definitely would stay here again. We sat at the bar one night and had probably some of the best bar service we ever had a restaurant was pretty decent. Did a separate review for Miranda Mediterranean. The last thing I would say is the mechanism that holds the toilet paper roll in my room was installed upside down so anytime you want to use the toilet paper. It would slide off and go onto the floor so it was installed upside down so some weird stuff but definitely the room itself was cool.

Room was spacious and very comfortable... bar area lively in the evening. We had a King Suite! Service generally good throughout the hotel .... EXCEPT the front desk, both staff and managers. I advance, I purchased as advertised "romance package" upon arrival, sparkling wine, roses and chocolate-dipped strawberries to be in the room. Upon arrival, nothing in room. I visited with the evening manager, and all would be fixed the following day. On Day 2, I stopped by the front desk to confirm all would be fixed that day. When we returned in the evening, the flowers showed up, but no bubbles or chocolates. I re-visited the front desk again the evening, and they were bewildered that things still weren't right. I went to the bar myself the retrieve the bottle of sparkling and glasses, the chocolates were to be delivered to the room. When the chocolates did not arrive after a couple of hours, I returned to the front desk yet again, to be told the kitchen was closed, so no chocolates that night. We checked out the next morning, having never received the full package. I was promised a call by the front desk manager, which never came. Total fiasco! Clearly, hotel managers are delegating responsibility for getting things done, not taking ownership interest in guests issues to solve them. Very disappointing ... we won't be back! Do not recommend EB Miami!

The security guard at the front was super helpful and told me there are a bunch of different consulates in the building, so make sure you know which floor you're headed to before showing up. The Spanish Consulate itself was very structured and polite. They move people through fast but not rushed, and the staff were kind to everyone I saw. Heads up: they do take your original documents, so bring extra copies or scans for yourself before you go. That part makes some folks nervous, but it's part of the process. Honestly, I was there about two hours total and everything went smoothly once I got past the door. The staff are clearly doing their best to handle a huge crowd, and they were patient and professional the whole time. If you follow the directions, come prepared, and keep calm, you'll be fine. It's busy because everyone's trying to reconnect with their family history -- that's kind of beautiful, in its own hectic way. Pro tip: show up early, bring water, and have your documents in order. You'll survive it just fine.
