Since then, my son has attended both camp and several Parents' Night events, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kids World. The entire team is exceptional. I have experience with other children's camps, and Dasha Nonkin, the Kids Club Manager, really stood out. She was thorough, kind, organized, and very detail-oriented. It is clear that she takes tremendous pride in the camp program and in creating a meaningful experience for the children. My son was treated like gold. He did incredibly well, learned so much, and came away with stronger social skills, a better understanding of teamwork, and so much enthusiasm for the arts and crafts, projects, and activities. Can't recommend enough regardless if your kids is just learning the sport and playing rec, or if your kid is playing at highest level in HS or travel ball. We were a bit reluctant and confused at first because after signing up for SSJYSL we received emails and texts asking for parents to volunteer coaching. This is expected in all if not most recreational sports and how the league can operate seasons after seasons at an affordable cost. But we were new to all this and definitely confused by it. I'm so happy we decided to keep with it even though it seemed a little intimidating having no prior knowledge because here we are, at the end of the season and fully have immersed ourselves in as "soccer moms and dads" and so happy and pleased we did. SSJYSL is warm, inviting, encouraging and every child is building invaluable lifelong skills. Our parent volunteer coaches led by Coach Justin Bennett and Coach Hardip Saini were just the best! With their timely communication, commitment, dedication I wouldn't have even known they are volunteers! What a great experience this was for our son. If your child is interested in recreational soccer, I highly recommend supporting this organization .

While my mother has been dealing w/ slow cognitive decline, most (if not all) of her friends & family have dropped off the face of the planet and stopped calling or coming by. She's been lonely and missing "community." Welp, NOT anymore, and due to the absolutely loving vibes found in the staff, the kindest angels on the planet that greet the seniors coming for lunch. I cry w/ joy because how AMAZINGLY well my mother has been treated by her yoga teacher, meditation, zumba, and everyone else. She has found a sense of belonging, and rekindled that passion for the healing arts that have always been a part of her life, even now in her current stage of dementia. THANK YOU WG Community Center; ya'll are the BEST thing that happened to my mother, and as someone who went to WG & grew up in this area, her being so loved and included has been the biggest blessing and slow welcome home she, and every other senior deserves (and needs). I can't thank ya'll enough. I want the community at large, & world to know what a PROFOUND impact your all's CARE & deep commitment to bettering the lives of seniors has made on my mother's life (and mine). I hope ya'll get ALL the funding you need to make a bigger center, because you all are doing AMAZING work that's deeply impactful and helpful to seniors like my mother who've lost most of her friends. We sent our son to GrowFit for about a week over the summer at different times, and I have to say…read morethat each time he attended, he did better and better. The beginning was a little challenging because it is such a large, high-energy group--and he is already a high-energy kid who can get overstimulated--but the team was incredibly patient and supportive. Maddie, the manager, truly took the time to work with him, and when he returned, he had a really great day and we received such positive feedback. He genuinely loves GrowFit. I am impressed by how organized everything is, the variety of activities, and the huge, fun bouncy house. The kids seem to have a wonderful time, and my son made friends very easily. I also really appreciate Russ, the owner, taking the time to send photos at the end of camp--it is such a lovely extra touch. Thank you to everyone for your hard work and for taking care of our son. We will definitely be back in the future!

I was nervous having never even visited the place and only going off of another parents recommendation but the staff gave me direct communication as I continuously checked in (shout out to LuLu) and she provided me the comfort of knowing he's having fun and he told me he wasn't ready to come home until the last min of his day. He is excited to go again. He talked about the fun he had that days for several days after. I would def recommend trying it out even if it's just for one time. I'm sure your kid will talk you into coming again.
