Ryan is the man! We just moved and wanted to have Ryan come out again to install some ceiling storage racks. This time I got two 8x4-1000lb limit racks in a corner-configuration. Again, amazing workmanship and the racks are definitely a lifesaver. Definitely recommend. read more

We had SoCal Overhead Storage install ceiling-mounted shelving in our two-car garage and we love it! The installer (Ryan) was on time, finished in about a couple of hours, and the shelves look incredibly sturdy - up to 1000lbs! He owns the company and completes the installation himself. We went from having clutter on the floor to having a cleaner organized garage. Worth every penny. read more

Ryan is a rock star!!! The racks he provides are very good looking and very strong. He's focused and gets the racks up so fast. He knows how to go around obstacles like door frames and attic access doors. He's friendly and fun to have around. He put up racks every where I could find a spot. My handyman had already installed two racks I bought from Costco. When they were loaded, they bent and fell. I think my handyman missed screwing it into a stud. Ryan came to the rescue and pulled those racks down. They had been installed incorrectly and didn't cover the space available. I live in a new subdivision and Ryan has become a household name. We all love his work. read more

Ryan came all the way to LA to install my rack. Scheduling an appointment was super easy and he was able to start early morning which was perfect for my work schedule. I had considered doing it myself, but figured I was planning on storing a bunch of junk over my car, that I should let a pro do it. Everything was super quick, about two hours and the racks look very heavy duty, mine are rated to hold 800 lbs which is way more than I'll ever need. Highly recommended. read more

Socal Overhead Storage run by Ryan saved the day. There's always something to store and what better place than on the ceiling of your garage. The apartment i rented in the past had an overhead rack and it was clutch for my snowboard and all those storage boxes. This is exactly what I plan to use mine for as well as costco sized TP. Ryan was communicative and pricing was competitive. Grateful for his generosity eith hsi time to do a small favor as well. Doesn't go unnoticed. I will be referring him to my clients for sure. And on top of it, Ryan is a great person to chat about sports and life. Thanks again Pictures to come later. read more

Ryan is the best in the biz! Called him on a Saturday afternoon and had a day and time scheduled for the following week. Ryan does all the work by himself and is extremely detailed and takes the time to explain everything he is doing to address any questions. He is extremely personable but very professional. When he finished up the job, my wife and I were extremely impressed and appreciative of all the hard work. His prices are extremely competitive and for the quality of work, it's probably the best deal you're gonna get! If you're considering overhead storage, give Ryan a call ASAP! read more

I was looking to install some hanging garage organizers. When I was searching for a garage storage company on Yelp, I stumbled across SoCal Overhead. I called and Ryan picked up the phone while he was on vacation. He had answered all my questions and offered to come out and give an estimate and show me his racks after he returns. Appointment was set, he showed up and give me some ideas on how the overhead rack can be installed to maximum my space. It was a much better design than my original plan of installing some racks I purchased from Costco. It took him about an hour and the job was done very professionally, the area looks very clean and exceeded my expectations. I would recommend him to anybody who wants to install a garage overhead storage. read more

Contacted Ryan a few months ago about pricing on the overhead units and he was upfront about the whole process. I gave it some thought and hit him up on 9/7 and he was able to stop by on 9/11. He came, gave me the best option ideas and installed exactly what I needed. Generally the review ends here but I would like to take the opportunity share how much of a pleasure it was getting to know Ryan and chatting with him as he installed the racks. We are both old skaters and we not only chatted about that hobby but we also talked about our shared passion for baseball, his son is a pitcher at cal state fullerton. I sat in that hot garage chatting with him the whole time, it was a great experience and I highly recommend him if any of you guys are in the market for storage. I plan on calling him back if we need more. Thank you Ryan and good luck to your son this year. read more

Excellent service. Great communication and prices. Needed more room with a newborn and was referred to Ryan by our neighbor. My husband reached out and an appointment was scheduled quickly within a week. Texts you day before to remind of appointment window time. Calls you to inform you when he's on the way and his eta. Install for 2 racks took about 2 hours. He also sells add on storage hooks for bikes, ladders, etc. Highly recommend. Ryan came to our house within two days of my first phone call to install racks before our move-in. He was prompt, courteous, and efficient, bringing all the necessary materials and completing the installation the same day. Although he needed to make a second trip due to our ceilings requiring special hardware, he returned the next morning without complaint and finished the job. I would highly recommend him to others and may have him back for another rack in the future. While you can find racks online or at big-box hardware stores, you'll either have to install them yourself or pay for installation. Ryan's pricing made it an easy decision, and I now have peace of mind knowing the racks are securely installed and able to hold a lot of containers. read more

This is a review that I previously left under Advanced Overhead Storage on 2/6/20; however, it appears that that Yelp account no longer exist. I'm placing this review because a friend of mine recently inquired about the storage system in my garage. My first experience with ToppRax (see Inland Empire branch review) was somewhat of a disappointment because the inland empire rep Eric never got back to me. I understand people get busy, but I was pretty much a guaranteed sale beforehand as I had already done my own research. Once Ryan Goff of So Cal Overhead Storage contacted me everything was smooth sailing. Communication was great and to my surprise within an hour I had two 4'x8' racks; this includes Ryan asked me what heights I wanted, location of the racks, going over the company, explaining the process, etc. They've saved me a ton of space already. I would definitely recommend Ryan to anyone interested in overhead storage. read more

Ryan was a cool guy. Very personable and was able to pick his brain on rack placement. My wife is a stickler about symmetry and didn't want to do anything that would throw off the balance of the garage. Ryan was very meticulous about ensuring our new overhead rack was centered with our garage. If it was anything less then perfect, my wife would have quickly noticed and he understood this fact. I live in fear. It came out perfect! Ryan also has years of experience in construction and understands the ins and outs of a home. He quickly realized we had steel beams above our garage, but was able to solve that problem. I will definitely be a returning customer for future overhead storage needs. read more
