Inside the spacious charter bus. We had 9 people but can comfortably fit 20!

I want to exceed the 5 stars for this company!!!! I would highly recommend to anyone ever thinking about doing this. The price is great for what we get. You tour 3 breweries and it comes with 4 small tastings which is more than enough. Phil was amazing at communicating the whole time. I got the private tour with friends and Andre and Carlos were so accommodating. They were awesome and I can't talk highly enough of this company.

This was the best tour ever! We weren't expecting the experience we had and Phil was simply amazing. It was great to not have to worry about where to go, what to order and best of all just sit back and have a great time. We were able to enjoy all the beers and spend time at each of the breweries. Thanks again Phil for a great time. It was definitely one of the best times we all had! Cheers!

I have been on a lot of beer tours and this one is great. Very inviting atmosphere. Fritz was very informative. He knew everything about beer and answered all our questions. A HUGE brand new bus. 3 stops. All with at least 4 tastings. I didn't know I had these great breweries in my neighborhood.

We took the art and craft brewery walking tour in the Arts District in downtown LA. It was a really cool experience. There were 7 of us on the tour. We tasted 4 different beers at Angel City Brewery. The Brewery had an art exhibit as well as indoor cornhole and an area for kids to play!! There was a Food truck outside for something to eat. We had Lawrence as a beer guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable. On our way to our next stop, Hector, our art guide pointed out the art on the sides of buildings, on the sidewalk and on utility poles. He was knowledgeable on graffiti art and pointed out the differences between graffiti art and vandalism. We had two more stops for beer. All in all a very fun 4 hours.

She was super chill and fun, and just the kind of person you want to go beer tasting with. She is extremely knowledgeable about brewing, so it was awesome to hear about how the different beers are made, and understand why they taste the way they do. Second, can we talk about the fact that a fun bus picks you up and drives you to your preselected list of breweries? That alone is cause for celebration. And third, the beer tastings were tasty and varied, which I very much appreciated. We tried lagers, IPAs, porters, saisons, wheat ales, etc. A total of 12 tastings, and all expertly picked. So, all that said, I'd definitely go again and try a few new breweries!

From a practical standpoint, Ride Free are exceptional. Wil seems to know the roads of the United States the way most people know their local commute. Not just the famous highways, but the right roads, the ones that offer unforgettable views and lead you to small local places you'd never find on your own. His knowledge is encyclopaedic, and it will show when he designs your route. Erin runs operations, accommodation, logistics, pacing are all handled from long experience. Everything is tailored. I wanted small, backwater towns and characterful places to stay rather than major cities, and that's exactly what I got. If you want big cities and landmarks instead, they can do that too. Ride Free can cater just as easily for groups or individuals. I chose to ride alone, deliberately, because it made it easier to talk to locals at each stop and really absorb the places I passed through. Equally, if you want to take on an adventure with your mates -- riding together, sharing the experience, they cater for that just as well. When it comes to the bikes, Wil is first and foremost an experienced rider himself and leads some of the tours. He understands what works over long days in the saddle and will recommend an ideal bike for your trip or source exactly what you want if you have something specific in mind. What I didn't expect was that one of these trips would end up meaning far more to me than "just" a ride. Because of the timing and planning around Route 66, I happened to be in New York immediately beforehand where I met the woman who is now my wife. That part wasn't planned, of course, but Ride Free quite literally set the conditions for it to happen. I suspect they don't often get credited with marriages, but this one belongs on the list. I'll be back for more trips in the future. Ride Free understands bikes, America, and adventures. Finally, if you do end up on Route 66 traveling through Arizona on the way to Nevada, you may find yourself on the Sitgreaves Pass. Near Oatman If you do then stop at the highest point of this winding mountain pass. It's not visible from the road but try to find the cowboy graveyard that I stumbled upon.

From the time we picked up the motorcycles in Denver until we returned the whole trip was just awesome. Nothing was a problem for Wil and Erin. Porsche pointed out the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Hollywood that she attended. She gave us pointers on how to shop at farmers' markets and buying produce and allowed us a few minutes of free time to shop on our own. Once back at EATZ, where Porsche is also a cooking instructor, we had Mimosas and snacked on baguette slices and very fresh goat cheese in olive oil that she purchased from the market. We began with the panne cotta - yes, life is uncertain, start with the dessert!! This dish needed time to set. We prepared the fresh beautiful strawberries for the dessert as well. Each team of 2 had their own cooking station and burner. Just perfect for all of us. We made the pasta with basil and set it aside to soften. We worked on the roasted tomatoes with garlic and then the stuffed mushrooms with spinach, shallots, garlic and cream cheese, sprinkled with bread crumbs. We began the meat sauce and when the roasted tomatoes were ready, Porsche pulsated them in a food processor and added it to our meat sauce. Our workout began as we rolled out our pasta. Yes, that was definitely a workout, but so rewarding. We all got the technique down. We learned the correct thickness of the pasta and how to cut and separate them before cooking. Definitely a good appreciation for handmade pasta!! We were then treated to a delicious meal of our own creation!! Devine!! Porsche will be emailing all the recipes after the class. My daughter and I highly recommend take a great afternoon with Porsche and taking her class. She has several menus to select from and we will definitely return in the future!! I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised. This tour was full of great information about San Pedro and fantastic food. Chef Porsche was very knowledgable and suggested of other places to visit besides the stops on our tour. The tour included 5 stops and it covered burgers, cuban food, fish and chips, bake goods and a stop at a tea house. Our tour started off at Bunz Gourmet Burgers ( small mom and pops shop) fantastic burger. Will have to come back for more. We went to Cuban restaurant called Punto Cubano with great character and decor. There we had a cuban sandwich that was amazing. Obviously there's other stuff in the menu that you are more than welcome to order at your own cost. We had a delicious flan :-) we had a few stops in between and learned about the San Pedro Port history and other spots. We then hit The Whale and Ale (English pub) for some delicious fish and chips. Alcohol not included in the tour but available for purchase. I couldn't help myself so I had a guinness. We then went over to Hojas for some delicious chai tea that hit the right spot. Hard to pick a favorite as everything was very very good, and if I may add the food portions are just right. Enough to leave you stuffed. Overall the tour was fantastic. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for something new and fun to do. It supports local businesses and is something that you can do on a date, with family, friends or even Solo. You'll meet great people on the tour. I look forward to future tours from Chef Porsche. Thank you Porsche for introducing me to a new are in San Pedro that I would've not know about on my own but will definitely be visiting again soon.
