My Gold Standard Insurance, these were my "exclusions" what a joke
    Dawn R.

***UPDATE 2*** My car is finally fixed but the mechanic stated that while replacing BOTH batteries he found that the box behind the battery was welded on the inside so there would have been no way for the car to code and show there was an issue with the batteries. ***UPDATE 1*** Finally heard back from Tom who literally told me "good luck" on getting help through legal avenues since that they would not be helping me. Also, when I purchased the car Tom told me my car the T5 was a 5cylinder vehicle when in fact it is 4cylinders. Also now they found an oil leak. So its $5000 on top of the $16,000 for the car on top of the $4,000 for the Gold Standard warranty. Tom did mention that he has seen my reviews so that is a plus but I am not done yet :) The owner is listed as Voronkov Dimitry if anyone knows this person you might want to let them know how Tom is ruining their business. On 11/13/2021 I purchased a 2015 Volvo XC60 from Tom who explained to me the vehicle was as is but that there was a policy that I could purchase that would cover my engine and transmission (along with a few other things) for 3yrs AFTER the 3yrs my engine and transmission was covered for life. Since I had to come back to work (in the office) I felt that even though the car had 90,834miles the extra insurance would cover me (Gold Standard Automotive Network). I drove the car less than 400miles and my dashboard started lighting up, I immediately took the car to Volvo and this is what they found; Pads and Rotors in the front - $873 the insurance is offering $200 Thermostat replaced $671 the insurance is offering $370 ECM Module $1,969.31 the insurance isnt offering anything towards this Battery replace (the car is a turbo so it has 2 batteries) $572 the insurance is offering $150 Engine Mounts (there are 3 needed out of 5) 1) $479, 2) $169, 3) $704 the insurance is offering nothing towards any of them stating (wear and tear that I should have seen before buying the car). Oil Filter/Change $141 the insurance is offering $80 Bumper Cover (Labor Only) $92 the insurance is not covering anything towards that My Total $5999.92 my Gold Standard Insurance is willing to pay $730.07 I learned from a Lawyer that 1 - One general rule is IF you pay for the 'warranty' it is not usually a warranty, but instead a service contract with different rights and remedies; 2- Another general rule is IF they sell you a service contract they may NOT sell the car "as is." Of course this was not explained. They were able to see that the codes on the vehicle were erased 2 days prior to me buying the vehicle - so even if I had a code scanner with me I would not be able to see the codes once they were cleared. I haven't even made the first payment on the loan (I did get a GREAT rate from my Credit Union so that good) but for now I have to fight this out with the insurance and Volvo - I drove the car less than 400miles and its looking like I will have to pay over $5,000. The Lemon Laws dont apply to my car so I am looking for an Auto Fraud Lawyer, if anyone knows of one please refer. For now I urge you to stay away from this Dealer, Tom only sells by appointments and im sure that's how he is able to have the cars "ready" for sale. Im sure he will never see this and probably doesn't care if he does but Tom you ought to be ashamed of yourself, I brought you basically a cash sell and you continued to tell me how good this car was and if there were any issue that the Gold Standard Insurance I bought would definitely help me, that was $4,000 down the drain to only pay another $5,000 a month later. I would love to wait for Karma to do her thing but for now I will be finding Legal Counsel and im also contacting the Federal Trade Commission, The Better Business Bureau, the DMV Investigations Division and the Bureau of Automotive Repair. I hope this helps somebody else and wish I would have read the reviews before buying - Wish me luck :(On 11/13/2021 I purchased a 2015 Volvo XC60

Feel lucky to buy for my son first car , lowest price on the Internet , Nice and professional service , my son his love that car , Thank you very very much

READ REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY A CAR FROM THIS PARTICULAR "DEALER" Everything seemed fine from the beginning. Then the water pump failed. After our mechanic opened up the front end, he found massive amounts of oil leaks coming from everywhere. Pretty much had to replace every oil seal. $$$$$$$ When we went to inspect it, everything on the top of the engine was nice and Armour all shiny! I admit, I fell for that one. Next time I'll bring my car jack and inspect the undercarriage. If I would of seen how bad the car was I would of ran and fast outta that lot! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER

Awesome new, fun, & fast convertible!

Really, really happy with Tom & my deal! After owning over 40 vehicles so far, I'm a stickler for getting a great car, at a great price, with great service. What I like to call the 'Triple G's', of the car buying process. These guys know how to do it, & do it right.

Everything looked fine at the beginning, clean, good carfax. Then there was the gear shift failure on the day I bought it, and the car ended up stalled on the road. I had to find a tow truck, and ultimately it cost me over $5000 and weeks to fix the issues. If you're buying a car here, be prepared to spend an extra $5000 on repairs, as well as the corresponding time and effort. Similar problems mentioned repeatedly in the reviews, there must be a reason! Stay away from this place!

Worst dealer I've ever bought a car at. A few days after purchasing my vehicle I got a check engine light days after that I got a drivetrain malfunction error message. Contacted the business all he had to say was take it to get checked maybe it's nothing mayor if you do plan on returning the vehicle that's not going to happen.

They sold me my dream car!
    Michael J.

I saw this car online and fell in love with it. The company representative was very helpful. He made the entire car buying process quick and simple. They lowered there asking price to fit my budget. I would definitely buy from them again. There office was very neat, organized and clean.

They were also nice enough to keep my previous car at their parking lot over the weekend before I came back on Monday to turn it in to a dealership. On top of that they put their best effort and kindly attached a number plate to my front bumper using their own instruments saving me a trip to a dealership where it should have been done from the get go. I've had above and beyond amazing experience with these guys. Needless to say I'm going to recommend them to everyone I know and definitely will be back for my next purchase.

I was told the only requirement was the gas tank needed to be half full. I left my van and got a loaner car - Heidi said that since the loaner gas gauge was at about 3/4, that if I went below a 1/2 tank, they would charge me........and I went home. They called and said I had to come back to remove my clothes and stuff from the back seat area in order for them to replace the fuel pump recall. I drove the loaner back, moved the stuff to the wayback of the minivan and asked 3 times if cleaning out the mid- seat area was good and they said yes. I drove home and got a text or call to come back again to clear out the entire back of the minivan in order to do the recall. I came back a 2nd time and removed everything from the minivan and put everything in the loaner. That is the only driving I did on the loaner. Once the recall was done, I returned and transferred all the stuff back in the van. I get home and see an invoice for $42, with incorrect gas tank reading, saying it was at 100% and now 79%: 4.2 gallons/$42.00. Even though the odo reading on the invoice said I only drove 36 miles, mostly due to their poor communication. The CRV Hybrid gets 40+ mpg. I immediately called Heidi and asked for a refund. She initially said there was nothing she could do. When I again emailed her, she sent an email offering a $40 credit on my next oil change. I had just changed my oil and I said to refund me. No more response. I'm filing a dispute with AMEX and the dealer. Of course, it goes without saying that they recommended other repairs and their prices were roughly 2x's what they cost locally.

Pretty much everything about the experience there was so much better. The 40k mile service is basically a glorified oil change (oil change and new cabin air filter) I was a little early but was still checked in quickly and professionally by Tony prior to my actual appointment time. He clearly informed me of the work to be done and an approximate time it would be done. While waiting in the lounge a technician came in and gave me a spare set of keys he happened to have that fit my brand of roof rack mounts. That was unexpected but cool. The service was done quickly but the best part was that while checking out I was simply told that it was all green lights on my vehicle nothing additional was needed. I was honestly expecting a Jiffy Lube style full court press to add additional services. All in all, great experience.
