I had to wipe everything down myself. Also, I'm not sure what they used to clean the interior but it's super oily and greasy. It kept leaving a residue with everything I touched. Once again I had to go in and wipe off all the grease. They definitely weren't thorough with everything. My backseat still had stain marks as well, so I had to remove it myself. Trying out new hands car wash on Shepherd called "Soap." I moved next to it. I usually take my raised F250 to Best Car wash on Voss and Delmonte; however Soap is closer. I am semi OCD about my car washes. I would rank Best Hand Car wash a 7/10; good enough for me to keep going and touch up the small missed spots myself. The price for vacuum and wash at Best has never changed and they have a card reward system (not that great. You need something like 6 or 8 full pay washes to give you a % off the next wash..I would have made it free). So far at Splash the cost is $10 more at $55. They seem short staffed her on a Sunday; however it is early; and it iS Houston where it rains every freaking day. Will up date more when wash is done. They did a great job! This is by far the worst experience I've ever had! First off, I paid $170 PLUS A TIP for them to do a terrible job on my car. It wasn't washed completely. The outside looked like it wasn't even touched. When I went outside, the woman at the front desk had to come out to translate and proceeded to tell me "you brought the car like this, we didn't do this" HELLO!!! You're a car wash! Avoid this car was at all cost!!! They damaged the leather on the console between the front seats (small hole puncture). When I showed it to the manager her response was "can you prove it". Made no attempt to resolve the issue in any way. So, do not use this car wash unless you're ok with them damaging you car! Also, the car wash was mediocre at best. Scratched my truck! Wouldn't come here again! I came here to get my truck cleaned because my normal car wash literally a block away was packed and I was in a rush. It really shows true colors on a Saturday morning when you have no line in your car wash business on this busy street! The customer service at soap is awful and the integrity in this business' employees is WAY subpar for the amount you pay here! (It's pricey) I was here for 2.5 hours getting a basic car wash. When I first arrived I walked in and was asked what package I wanted. I mentioned to the girl it was my first time and she was not much help on deciding what wash for my truck. So I just chose the second tier basically a basic wash. I was told my truck was cleaned after about 45 minutes. I walked out and walked around the truck and looked in the interior. The interior was not cleaned properly or wiped down properly clear spots where not wiped down. There was places in the truck like the back passenger door that was not wiped and many areas on the outside of the truck like the baseboards the shocks of my truck and underneath where the tires are on the listed part of my truck they did not rinse with water or scrub. She was so upset at my requests she called the owner. The owner Jose was extremely nice and told the girl in charge to clean the truck The way the customer expected it and after he told her that; her personality completely changed to very hostile and rude. She told me that she didn't want to talk to me as I was pointing out some issues for them when they re-cleaned it. I was nice enough to let them redo it I did not ask for a refund and I just told him I wanted it cleaned and I don't mind waiting another 45 minutes for them to redo it the right way. All of a sudden my truck had scratches all on the driver side all the way down to the tailgate. I think the girl did it on purpose. I made her call the owner before I left the property. They ended up trying to buff out the scratches it looked like it was a little rock possibly on a towel or she could've just done it out of spite. Overall really bad experience. It's hard to leave the 1 star bc the owner did come and make it right even though I was there for 2.5 hours and now I have scratches visible on my new truck and a weird glue. And the truck still isn't cleaned right. If they hire a new front staff and get some better regulations I think this location would do much better. I came to get my car seats and carpet shampooed to get the scent of dog urine out of my car. Ended up getting the most expensive package since shampooing each area alone is 65+ per. Asked them not to touch my trunk and I was told that was fine. The estimated cleaning time was an hour to an hour an a half, my vehicle was not done for over 3 hours. The whole reason I came was to get the seats shampooed and the seats still smelled strongly. Why did I waste $170 to not even accomplish what I came in here for? My trunk was opened, all of my items removed and mishandled. They lose car mats here. I got a call a day later saying they left someone else's mats in my car. I returned them to the shop the next morning. Now I'm getting constant calls/messages about a DIFFERENT car's mats because the ones I returned were for a third car that they didn't even know they misplaced. So that makes for at least 2 vehicles that went home with less than they started with in just a 3 hour time span. Who knows how many others they've lost. TL;DR: They don't effectively shampoo seats, disregard when you tell them not to touch a part of your car, lose car mats, and harass customers for Soap losing items. Windows streaked, swirl marks, large water drops on electronics, dirt on the floorboards and a greasy substance left on the steering wheel and seatbelts. He told me that it was going to be 40 minutes because they were understaffed since it was the 4th of July. I waited for 2 hours. While I was waiting, free car wash vouchers were given to other customers who were waiting a long time as well. I never received one. They didn't do a very good job cleaning the car. There are streaks on my car and they did not get all of the dust off of my floor mats. My mirrors and drivers seat were all messed up. I am extremely disappointed in this business. I had a gift card from my husband that was denied. They told me there was a 90 day redemption period - this was NOT on the receipt we were given! How many gift cards have such a short expiration date? No other business that I am aware of. I had previously been to this location a number of times since they opened. I have been here multiple times for the classic wash (outside wash and inside vacuum/ wipe down). I visited 2/23 and not only did my car still have dirt on the exterior, especially the windows but a removable piece in my trunk that covers the area where someone would access the rear light for maintenance was broken and now will not stay secure. My car is an Audi, barely 3 years old and has never had anything break or fall off. My dash was not wiped and is still covered in dust and the backseat floor carpet was not even vacuumed.
