We had so much fun! We took advantage of the $10 off by going on a Monday and it saved us 40 bucks that we used towards food and drinks throughout the day. There is a twenty dollar charge for parking, so it's a good and not so good thing on how you look at it. Some of our favorite slides were the Edge and Avalaunch. We tubed fast through them and went on them a couple times. It's a hike up the stairs and it's all worth it in the end. The Soaky Surge and Black Bear Rapids has a wave pool and a lazy river. There is something to do if you don't want to relax for a few minutes. I had a grilled chicken Caesar salad for lunch. It was huge! I enjoyed it and cooled off with some Powerade. The lunch break was nice to recharge before we got back into the water for the rest of the day. The lifeguards were everywhere you looked and it was a peace of mind knowing that they were doing what they were suppose to since the water can be dangerous if not cautious. The wait wasn't long for the rides. There are specials you can take advantage of by looking on the website to see what would be the best one for you.

Had such an amazing time here today!! shout out to my girl lily Steven's for being very sweet and kind for showing me where the lazy river was instead of trying to describe it. And also shout out to life guard Dominic D for acting so fast to jump in the wave pool to save a kid without any hesitate. Also gotta try the Philly cheesesteak nachos! Definitely a great place to bring your family or friends, great reliable staff and amazing food

We are went to park yesterday, Wednesday, July 19 to celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday. My mom, my sisters and their families also came with us. We decided it would be easier to rent a cabana since we had some young children and they could maybe take a nap however, when we got to our cabana number 31 the latches were falling off it wouldn't zip up. The fan was located in a corner that when it would turn and blow, it kept hitting the side of the fabric of the cabana. It was very disappointing, considering it was so expensive to rent just for it to be kind of dilapidated. We also had a waiter which I feel would definitely have been more helpful Had the park been a little bit busier, but it would make their job a little bit easier if they had a way to carry so much food and drinks. Our server continuously had to make extra trips because he couldn't carry everything in one go and unfortunately speed was not his side by the time he got there the drinks had no ice and tasted watered down. They definitely need some sort of vehicle to get orders to guests. The rides were really nice. My favorite was the big blue one tunnel one I am unsure what it was called but I love the drop that was unexpected. I also have a son with autism and he absolutely loved the rainbow tunnel slide. I wish I could have recorded his face so that I could watch it everyday. I do wish they had an age limit at the kitty slide as there were some older boys that were roughhousing and kept knocking babies over they had to be spoke to continuously it breaks my heart that parents consider this place to be a daycare and not be there to watch their children. Most of the lifeguards we came in contact with were very nice and knowledgeable, although some were a little hard to understand. We ordered a cheese pizza and my oh my was it delicious it had the perfect amount of cheese, my husband had a cheeseburger and he said it was delicious as the fries were also. I had the taco truck and was a little disappointed as it was not very good. I had the steak tacos, the steak was very very chewy and cold. My kids loved every minute they spent here and cried as we were leaving. As much as it hurt to hear them so sad I was also so happy at how much fun they had.

It was fun but people drown in the wave pool a lot. Every time I went I went I had a great time and the food and staff are great!

The let down is certainly the food- it's expensive (no surprise) but also bad. They ran out of things constantly and there is nothing worse than having your seven year old granddaughter looking forward to her Bear cone only to be told, none too nicely either, that they are out of Bear cones- okay, a regular cone and sprinkles- nope, out of sprinkles. I don't even remember what the third ask was but, alas, not to be had. Finally, the woman said they had cones and M&ms, that's all. Instead of disappointing my granddaughter three times, why the heck not just say up front all she had was a regular cone and M&m's? Anyway, it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth, pun intended.

And then when I found out that it was a theme park, I was expecting some overpriced dinky park. But I was amazed to see just how big it was and the rides they had! The rides were super fun and I was pleasantly surprised with the mix of incorporating Dolly Parton into the park without just plastering her face over everything. We heard a lot of good things about the cinnamon bread and it lived up to the hype!

Wife and I did a couples massage (a first) since we were looking for couples opportunities. And this didn't disappoint. It was very relaxing and both wife and I felt very comfortable. I did apologize for my feet (I have gravel grippers) but they trooped on. The therapists were engaging as to what we'd like (I asked to kneaded like a bad pillow, and wife was less needy). But they adjusted accordingly and we were very appreciative It can be pricey (we had a resort discount though), but this is well worth the cost. It's okay to be a dude and get massaged with eucalyptus-coconut oils. I will not judge you.

I would recommend that you find a groupon/deal to get it at a cheaper rate rather than the usual $50/ticket they offer it for because I genuinely do not think it is worth the $50. I would definitely NOT recommend the fun pass for adults, but would for children (at the discounted price). Our second day on the mountain, we went snowboarding and that was a very fun time for my group and I. Ober has snow machines, so it is not real snow and instead is icy, artificial snow. I can imagine during the colder season, it may be softer and covered much more. I went in early January for reference. The employees are very nice with helping you strap in boots and understanding how to strap into board as well. I decided to do a lesson, which I would recommend for anyone who has not snowboarded before. Although I enjoyed my time, I do agree that it is fairly pricy, considering the size of the mountain compared to other resorts I have seen. I understand the weather determines which lifts are avaliable but the "snow" was ice, no where near snow texture. I think a day of snowboarding would cost roughly $150+ here for day pass and gear rental. My downsides for Ober are the price, the fun pass, and the snow.
