My daughter has been attending Notre Dame for several years, and each year we have encountered the…read moresame unacceptable issue. Staff member Asunción Abrego Galeana, known as "Tia," has repeatedly singled out and targeted my daughter, issuing her dress code violations for skirts and shorts that were the same length--or in many cases, longer--than those worn by her peers, who were not penalized. This repeated and unjust scrutiny has left my daughter feeling insecure and confused, questioning what is supposedly "wrong" with her clothing when it clearly meets or exceeds the standards applied to others. This pattern of unfair treatment is deeply concerning and has cast a shadow over her entire experience at Notre Dame. It is disheartening that one individual's actions have created such a hostile and discouraging environment for students. Speak to any student, and you will hear the same story--this behavior is not isolated, and it is damaging to both the school's reputation and the well-being of its students.

The lack of proper care for deaf and autistic children is unacceptable. Favoritism and poor…read moresupervision are entirely avoidable issues. Furthermore, staff do not know how to manage deaf and hard-of-hearing children who struggle with communication delays and eloping. Additionally, staff must develop a deep understanding of deaf identity within diverse cultural and personal backgrounds.

TEAM CUBS HERE My…read morechild has been coming to this school for about six months now. It's their first ever experience being away from Mom, so I was definitely nervous at first. But my child accommodated quite quickly and now they look forward to going to school every day. Every time I come into the school, I never see dis organization or it being dirty. It is always organized and super clean. What I love about this school the most is the fact that they separate the toddlers from older kids. Both in the classroom and during recess. They try their best to make it even more fun than it already is by making themed days, such as Disney day, 50's day, pajama day, etc. , and during the summer they had a lot of water play days available for the children to make sure they stay cool. My child has been able to experience different types of foods, yes, even the veggies lol the cafeteria is so sweet. Everyone that works there it's extremely sweet helpful and definitely has an inviting spirit. Nobody wants to take their child to a place where everybody looks miserable and looks like they hate their job. This is definitely somewhere where you see the people actually love what they do. Last but not least, I'd love to give a big shout out to Miss Nancy who is my child's main caregiver there, she is super patient and understanding, my child is definitely someone who needs a lot of patience and I applaud her for being able to take care of my child for over four hours a day. She also takes the time out of her day to incorporate potty training throughout the day which we all know is not an easy task, so again, I applaud her. I highly recommend this daycare !

It's a warm, welcoming environment where the staff genuinely cares about each child. The teachers and staff are very attentive to our kids' individual needs and do a great job keeping us informed about how they're doing day to day. One moment that really stands out to me is seeing my son hug both his teacher and the director every morning at drop-off. I never would have done that as a kid, and to me, it says everything about how safe, comfortable, and happy he feels there. Our children feel secure and supported, and it shows in both their confidence and their learning. As soon as our youngest is old enough, we plan to have all four of our children enrolled here. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the environment or the results--our kids are already reading and doing math at a more advanced level than many of their peers. My daughter is naturally shy and wasn't talking much but after just a few weeks, her speech accelerated and can tell that her confidence, motor and social skills were developing! All of the teachers and admin made her feel so comfortable and gave my mama heart peace of mind that she is well taken cared of. I'm very grateful for her teachers especially Miss Elizabeth who went above and beyond to care for her as she got acclimated. I really appreciated the updates of my daughter's progress and I even credit her for potty training my lil one!! Miss Tyra is absolutely amazing as well and was ready to comfort my lil one during the hard mornings. I researched several schools and not only is RIVMA competitive in tuition, but it has better operating hours, a proven curriculum that supports all of the kid's learning modalities, it's kept clean and has a great security process for pickup and drop off with their app. The owner, Dr. Chandrapala genuinely cares for the school, teachers and kids. My nephews went to this school (one going to college now) and my neighbor's kid also went here. All great kids and results of the school's strong foundation.
