Keep driving folks. Ordered fried fish special. Over cooked and dried out. Fries taste like the oil is a year old.

The bartender who had worked at the restaurant for 7 years was working her very last shift- Ordered a bottle of wine- not available Tried another not available finally just said what do you have?? Got some Pinot Grigio that wasn't cold nor was I asked to taste... Anyway asked if there was still prime rib available- was told yes! Not surprised due to the 12 people in the entire restaurant. Got a shrimp cocktail served in a warm pasta bowl. Shrimp were mediocre at best $20 for 6- cocktail sauce was cumin scented not sure why... Fast forward to ordering the main course...we were told no Prime Rib was left??.... WHAT??? Decided to get the check and left. I would strongly recommend you to not even walk in the door to start with.

While the views from the large windows were sadly of a car dealership, we weren't expecting much in terms of views haha! We got a New York strip steak, a halibut special, a side of corn, bread, Caesar salad, and a complimentary flourless chocolate cake. Oh and a virgin lavender/lemon drink that was so refreshing! It was all so good! Great flavors, perfectly cooked, and a wonderful night enjoying delicious food.

Any time we are celebrating something here, it is recognized by the staff. It's such a small thing that makes us so happy. On our anniversary they gave us a card and a little happy anniversary flag made of chocolate in our dessert. My favorite-the butter cake, it's the best butter cake I've ever had. I tried their other desserts and they're fine but wow, love the butter cake so much. The Caesar is phenomenal too. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. We always enjoy the oysters, yum. I've done rack of lamb, the ribeye, the filet, the salmon. All of which have been exceptional. We normally do mushrooms or lobster mac n cheese to accompany-5/5. We love it here!

One side was just bread and other side was too dark. Not a big problem right? Well about five minutes later a older female cook came out of the kitchen and was furious at me with a new order of toast and said in a loud voice to me in front of many people to "check this I want to make sure this suits you!" It was so rude the way she said that I was really offended because I have be frequenting that restaurant for many years. I haven't been back since then which is many months. Then when I tried calling mgr and owner he wouldn't take my calls so I called the Jackson Hewitt tax office next door and reached him because he is manager there too and owns the restaurant next door and he didn't want to even hear me or my complaint and tried to scold me over the phone for calling him there about my complaint. I told him I only did that because he wouldn't talk to me over the restaurant phone and avoided my calls and wouldn't return them either. That owner is very unprofessional and not very nice. Also the food was ok but not great!

That said, the prices were kind of wild for what you get. The filet was good and cooked well, but the sides were lacking. The lobster thermador was $72 and all you got was tail meat, which felt pretty disappointing. The side salad was tiny and the house dressing was cloyingly sweet. The homemade bread was delicious and honestly one of the best parts of the meal. Dessert cakes were okay, nothing amazing. Overall, great ambiance and service, but the food didn't quite match the price.

Along with the menu, we received a document which briefly details the restaurant's history. After taking our drinks order, server Ronale explained menu items of significance such as their famous onion rings, homemade salad dressing and hand cut steaks. Our server kept our dinner at a comfortable pace and was aware each time we needed something. Our onion ring appetizer was superb. The French onion soup was tasty. The broth was delicious. Our steaks were expertly prepared to our liking. At the conclusion of dinner we decided to have a night cap. A dirty martini and an espresso martini sealed the deal for us. We highly recommend this restaurant. Can't wait to return for another dinner.

Everyone was satisfied about the meal. It was quite pricey, which was expected when we walked in because of the ambiance. So why only 3 stars? I live in Las Vegas and my guy lives in this area (long distance). Well, we were with friends that my guy hadn't spent time with in a while, and this was my first time meeting them. Nice double date! 3 out of 4 of us got multiple drinks and we were enjoying our dinner. We got dessert too. The manager checked on us once. We probably stayed about 20ish minutes after desert while talking and finishing drinks. We got up and used the restroom, and saw the mgr in there. We heard her say that our table "finally decided to leave." Very unprofessional when you are sharing the same restroom as customers to then be talking about them. I'd say the same thing had she not been talking about us but another table. I have 20+ years in the hospitality industry and that rubbed me the wrong way. Food wasn't good enough to come back, so this is a place that relies on ambience and service, which we'd come back for if the service were great...be hospitable. The server was knowledgeable and kind; it's too bad the manager couldn't keep her thoughts about well paying, well tipping customers to an area where customers couldn't overhear.
