We were so bummed when we showed up one day and they were gone -- but thankfully, they'd just moved a short walk away. And the new space is even better: warm, cozy, inviting, with plenty of seating up front and in the lounge area in back. Great vibe, friendly service, easy to hang out, and they have free WiFi and street parking. My go-to drink is the R2CBD2 espresso, and my husband loves their coffee. They now have a liquor license too, so you can grab a beer or wine. They were between seasonal specials during our last visit, but past drinks with lavender, blood orange, and rose have been fantastic. Excited to try their holiday menu when it rolls out. There are plenty of other good roasters around who are worth trying. But Jackie's Java knocks the socks off all of them. I prefer to go to Jackie's roastery rather than buy from a supermarket so that I get the freshest beans. The beans at the roastery are typically roasted the same day. I have seen other roasters in town selling beans that are well over a week old. Every week I drop by to pick up a bag of Jackie's La Amistad Estate Light Roast coffee. My understanding is that Jackie has personally traveled to Costa Rica to work on the farm which produces the beans for that roast. This is some for real organic stuff. And it slaps. So go brew a cup. Tl;dr Jackie should be your new caffeine dealer.
