I've heard great things about Lima and I can confirm that it's all true. The customer service is wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great and the ambiance is casual and beautiful. It's a great space to catch up with friends and also get some work done. I did both on my visit :) They offer free wi-fi and plenty of seating. There also seems to be plenty of outlets to charge your devices. I ordered the turmeric latte and fell in love with it. I had a turmeric latte during my visit and ordered another one to go. I also ordered a chai latte to go as a surprise for my mom and she loved it. Very overpriced for a mediocre chai latte. I barely taste any spices in it. I've had it three times now and it always tastes like watered down hot milk. Staff are friendly and easily the best part of the place. It's nice and clean but has a very liminal hipster aesthetic that lacks the homey/coziness of a good neighborhood coffee shop. Really hate when they don't put lids on a ready to drink beverage like a latte. I get it for coffee but I've dropped my drink now twice because the lid wasn't on right. I believe that this coffee shop truly tries to make the best coffee & matcha drinks it knows how to.... However ...,they have a long way to go when it comes to Matcha drinks. Matcha lattes should not be light in color or all milk. They use a powder could be tweaked to be brighter green in color or even darker. Came here while visiting Fort Collins during the holidays. When you walk in it's super cozy-- right side has lots of seating and the left side has coffee tchotchkes & knickknacks + the ordering counter. I was kindly greeted by a gal at the counter who took my coffee order and was also the barista. They did have some special holiday drinks which all looked tasty but, I went with my traditional order of an oat milk latte. It was super tasty and truly loved the flavor of the beans. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the cute store just inside the entrance. It feels very collegiate, lots of 'kids' studying on their Macs. I like a darker roast, and I felt kind of that their roasts, like many local or small places, tasted too blonde. And a flat white if I remember correctly, is the European size (more like a "cortado") here. But the baristas are helpful. So I ordered a latte instead. Bring your own sweetener to places like this, in case you have a preference and they don't have it. Many local coffee shops don't all have the same things. But this place was a nice hang out. They're cool and friendly! Definitely want to go back. read more

So good! We visited Lima Coffee Roasters on a Sunday morning and found it pretty busy. The interior was sunny with colorful, modern decor - fun wallpaper, neon signage, plants, etc. My sister and I both ordered off the seasonal menu. I got the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and she chose the Iced Horchata Latte. Both drinks were fantastic, and I loved that the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew wasn't too sweet. We also got a bunch of bakery items - the Apricot Almond Croissant, Chicken Empanada, and Brazilian Cheese Bread. The Chicken Empanada was my favorite of the three - so flavorful, I definitely could've eaten more than one. The Apricot Almond Croissant was delicious, and Brazilian Cheese Bread was also good, although the least memorable of the bunch. Overall, great for coffee and a light breakfast! read more

This was my last stop for my afternoon visit in Fort Collins. Had a lovely time and visiting here made it a nice bookend to a marvelous afternoon. I was more in love with the atmosphere, the location and the vibe of this place rather than the coffee itself. They definitely need to work on the quality of bean for decaf. I ordered a decaf Americano and the first go round, it was very weak. I tasted more of the cream and water than I did the actual coffee. The second go round of Americano (half caff and half decaf) was okay. It was still weak. I like how the barista who made it for me acknowledged that they need to improve the quality of bean for decaf. Kudos to him for being transparent about it. There is a nice long wooden high top with about six bar stool chairs to sit at and look out at College Avenue. Again, location is fantastic here! There is another long wooden high top at the back of the coffee shop with about four chairs. There are plenty of chairs to sit at here as there are an abundance of tables. They also have some nice chairs and a sofa area to sit at. This is a nice place to meet friends or setup your laptop to do work on. It was nice to see many people enjoying this place while conversing with friends or just working solo at their laptop. Music level is okay here. It wasn't too loud. I also liked the selection of music played. They have a nice gift shop in front of the order pickup station. A wide selection of products are sold. They also sell their coffee here. If I return here, I will definitely try their regular coffee and see how it fares. I liked how the barista was accommodating to me and didn't charge me for the second Americano. Overall, I recommend this place. I would return here again. This is another place I didn't plan on going to but stumbled across it while walking on College Avenue. What's also great about this location is that you can order a beverage to go then continue walking down College Avenue towards Old Town. There is plenty to explore once you exit Lima Coffee. Lima roasters is a great little coffee shop, nestled in the downtown area of Fort Collins, Colorado. They serve many different types of espresso and latte selections along with pour overs and drip coffee's. They roast their own beans at a remote location and they do it quite well. I got the white chocolate caramel latte, and it was just the right touch of sweetness. This place was so good we went two mornings in a row. There are a lot of coffee shops in Fort Collins, but when you have a drink here and it is perfect why not go back again. The first day I ordered the Peanut Butter Cup Cold brew, half sweet, which was just sweet enough for me. Strong coffee flavor mixed with peanut butter flavor - a perfect cold drink on a hot morning. My wife ordered the Banana Cream Pie latte which I had a sip of and thought it was also delicious, even though I'm not a big banana fan. I had the Nitro the next day and my wife tried the Blueberry Vanilla latte, iced. Great drinks. They also have a selection of pour overs with different roasts if you are into that. We had their breakfast burritos the first day and they were interesting. Very different from any breakfast burrito I've had, but I ate it up nonetheless. While it's not the cheapest coffee in FoCo, I think it's one of the best. The atmosphere is lovely for a coffee shop: tons of natural lighting, plants all around, free wifi, and plenty of seats. The coffee itself is top tier. The baristas know whats what and it shows. Lima also offers a delicious matcha. If you're hungry, I would say that the food is probably not as good as the coffee is. It's not bad, but I think that its drinks is where Lima shines. Overall though, my go to coffee spot in Fort Collins. read more

This coffee place came highly recommended to me. My friend goes there regularly for the turmeric latte. Personally I'm a big fan of coconut, and so I was excited to see they had a "cocoloco" drink for the summer. It was a latte with coconut milk, coconut cream, and coconut sweetener. Admittedly it was a bit sweet to my taste but in the best way- a guilty pleasure drink to be sure. I also am a big fan of tea so I went back and got their Lavender London Fog. Again, it was a touch too sweet for me (still didn't mind it) but I will probably specify to hold back on the sugar a bit on my next trip. I love the interior vibe to this place. We felt in love of Lima Coffee Roasters when we tried their coffee at the Foothills Mall Coffee Bar (their pain au chocolate is one of the best we have tried in USA). When we saw they were opening a new location at Old Town Fort Collins, we were super excited. Last weekend we had the chance to finally see and enjoy their new space which is totally amazing. Their coffee is one of the best of NOCO and they have amazing bakery. The seating area is great with plenty of table, chairs and even a sofa. They also have a small boutique corner with cool things to buy. The service and the food was excellent, and everything was super clean. We will be coming back soon! read more

Lovely place, I'd like to spend time there, BUT it all in the people who take care of you. I went in today and with my coffee I wanted something to eat so I went to check out the pastries. I saw a fly sitting on what I wanted to buy and I said to the girl behind the counter, there's a fly in there, can you shoo it away. Oh, there are so many around here, I can't . And she didn't. Great coffee great atmosphere. My only complaint is certain staff members will start randomly changing the volume of the music playing and then start singing along to certain songs which is annoying. We had just biked to town from Greeley, and were hangry and thirsty. Loved the look of the clear soda can shaped glasses and stopped in. We had a hard time deciding and the barista girl helped define the choices for us. We got a Chagaccino and Upside Down Latte with Ube. The iced chagaccino was smooth with solid coffee flavor, and bonus antioxidants to chase those sore muscles away! The Latte had a cool purple color with a very sweet flavor, and the bitter shot of espresso on top. Both were excellent! I would love to return some day. read more
