Once seated, the service quickly made a positive impression. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and efficient throughout the meal. Unfortunately, she never introduced herself, which is a shame because she absolutely deserved recognition for how well she handled a crowded brunch rush. The disappointment came with the Salmon Benedict. Visually, the dish was excellent and arrived looking like a menu-photo winner. However, the flavor never matched the presentation. The salmon lacked freshness and delivered very little taste overall. The combination of ciabatta bread and red onions also failed to elevate the dish. For a dish with so much promise, it was surprisingly bland and desperately needed a trip to "flavor town." While the Salmon Benedict missed the mark, the overall experience remained positive thanks to excellent service and the strong quality of everything else surrounding the meal. First Watch continues to shine in hospitality, even during one of the busiest brunch windows of the week. Just be prepared to choose your entrée carefully.

The food was seasoned, but neither of us felt it was memorable enough to justify the wait. What disappointed us most wasn't simply the hour-long wait. It the lack of communication and hospitality. A quick apology or occasional update would have gone a long way. I genuinely wanted to enjoy this experience because I believe in supporting Black owned businesses. I hope the owners look closely at the front of house experience, because good customer service can turn a delayed meal into a customer who still wants to come back.
