I hired this law firm when I got injured in July 2022. I have now been a client for almost two and a half years. I rarely hear from my attorney unless they need information from me. I email them requesting information on my case and I receive no response. I call and 9/10 I get the assistant, and she has no idea what is going on with my case. I am consistently getting different information every time I call, I am not receiving notices regarding the hearings scheduled in my case. When I called to find out the correct dates for my hearings, I was told now for the second time different dates and doctors who are not even involved with my case!! Absolute waste of time; if I could rate them lower than one star I'd do it, as that's the rating they deserve. I had injuries that were captured on video at my place of employment and advised my attorney during our initial consultation of the video surveillance and they didn't even bother to subpoena the video evidence; a first year law student would know to subpoena the video when an incident is captured on film. I lost a case that should've been an easy slam-dunk case to win had my attorney give even a smidgeon of effort. It's no wonder that I lost my case; my attorney put minimal effort into my representation; I'd have been better off utilizing a pre-law student. Additionally, they failed to pay all of the medical bills that they instructed me to attend that were associated with my claim, which I find to be extremely unethical. It isn't a case of oversight on their behalf, as I provided them with the bills as I received them. I decided to appeal the verdict on my own (I actually did well on my appeals), but their response when I advised them of the unpaid bills was "include them with your appeal". However, the bills were incurred on their watch and at their direction. If you need a workman's compensation attorney, I'd definitely consider going elsewhere to a law firm that will dedicate time to your case and utilize common sense in applying what the law allows to be entered into evidence. They thought it was going to be an easy case to win (my attorney even stated such), so they decided not to put in an adequate effort to ensure for my best interest. I was hoping that I finally found an attorney to help with my case. Unfortunately, I was pretty much told to call them back when my condition worsens. Well, if my condition worsens, I could be paralyzed. New MRI showed condition has worsened since first MRI. I can't afford the see a doctor outside workers comp. What a HORRIBLE experience. DO NOT use this firm. Not only did my lawyer stop fighting for me after he was retained and getting a portion of my checks, but he switched me to a different lawyer in the middle of my case. They did not tell me when the hearings were so I couldn't even be apart of my own case (after I told them I wanted to). Then when my new lawyer quit the firm, I was put back with the original one and not even informed of it. I received an email a few days later saying we lost the case (I am an injured front line Covid nurse who's now unable to work). When I asked to appeal the decision, my lawyer refused and immediately withdrew as my attorney. He promised to fight for me. Initially he said, "as a nurse you take care of everyone else, now let me take care of you." He did not even try. He didn't care. Almost no work was put in. I had contacted the office about taking my workers comp case and was told the steps I needed to take. I spoke to Brian Weekley and was told he was busy I left a message that I had followed all the steps and he said that he would get back to me. I called the office and was again told to take the steps for my workers comp and again told them I did. Tried contacting them several times but no answer today I get an email saying they couldn't take my case but gave no explanation as to why. Let it Snow, let it Snow, let it Snow!!! Chad Snow has me singing year round! Talk about a "gift" in my life! I feel like a child again who got the present I always wanted, hidden behind the tree. After I injured myself at work, all I could think about was recovering and returning ASAP. Soon after I filed for workers comp, they told me I needed to go back to work and stopped paying my benefits. Unfortunately, I was nowhere near recovery and losing the battle against workers comp on my own, so I decided I needed to seek legal aid. After consulting with a number of lawyers, most told me I didn't have much of a case since I would have to prove two separate injuries. I got the sense from others that they wanted to take me on a roller coaster ride by charging me for paperwork, visits, court fees, etc. and would ultimately end up doing nothing to win my case, leaving me with a large bill to pay. I didn't get that feeling from Chad. Although I wish I could say something like "I won my case and I was awarded compensation in 30 days," the truth be told, I could not find a "reputable" lawyer that would even take my case and I doubt few lawyers would have won, being up against so many barriers. And looking back, I know I won my case because of the work Chad did-- It was a long hard battle. Four doctors were attesting against my case making it seemingly impossible to me that I had any chance of winning. Chad worked diligently on my case, reassuring my doubts about winning a difficult, hard-to-prove workers comp case against one of the largest insurance companies in the nation. I was appeased each visit and I was astonished how empathetic he was with my injuries. When the time came in court, Chad was able to knock out all of the testimonies against my case, one after the other, like Billy the Kid playing that bulls-eye game at the carnival.
