The person who represented me was not Kiel Roeschke, it was a lady whom I only spoke to one or two times prior to my hearing. I did not feel like she knew my case well and was not comfortable with her. I asked her what would happen if we lost the appeal and she made it sound like it wasn't a big deal she would just reappeal to a group of judges, which would no longer involve the commissioner. She was terrible during the hearing. I was denied and she refused to appeal. Instead, she tried to tell me I had misunderstood what she said. A few days later, I received a letter stating the firm would no longer represent me.

I never got a psychological professional to actually help me, talk me through to heal and I am not sure what I am supposed to do with help supporting myself. Any resources are gone and now I'm surrounded with strangers and I am literally afraid to even go outside even though I know abuser is dead. How long do I have to wait and what else do I need to do? I dont understand what the SSA website is telling me. I have given them all I have give, I obviously need help with a place to live and so many other things to become whole again but is 6 months really a realistic time frame for just finding out if they will help me?
