After speaking with Eric Slepian and getting a understanding for the owner I have to say I am highly impressed with his passion to truly help people. There were a fair amount of hiccups with staff and what I consider attention to details and earning my business. The issues I had were put to rest after speaking to Eric and he obviously can't catch every unique situation his staff handles where a client has put so much time in and it doesn't seem to be understood by some of them creating communication issues. i had contacted them after my husband was denied social security with stage 4 cancer On the first filing Social security disability office thought it was not serious enough and he could get another light duty job after I originally filed myself. Slepian Law is an absolutely huge disappointment and their office staff left me in tears. Firstly, out of desperation I attempted to file disability and I reached out to their office because my physical health had declined and my mental health over the loss of my parent's brother grandparents my job my car. I submitted a claim however the lady Stephanie called and left a voicemail but I had no way of reaching her because the call center in India couldn't patch me through and did not leave her extension. Then I accidently got a hold of another Stephanie who was dis in genuine and rude to me she left me in tears she refused to forward my case even thought I have an extensive history of psychological issues and care going back all the way to 1991. I had questions as well about possibly getting survivors benefits however Stephanie left me in tears and told me to find a job. This office is totally unprofessional and rude and they don't care they take money from the government and felt they couldn't get a big enough cut from my case read more

My friend was on SSDI since 2010 for multiple illnesses and then after a basic review was told to go back to work at age 53. I called around for her and no lawyer wanted to take a case that didn't have a big back settlement payout. My uncle, who is a judge, recommended Slepian Smith and so did a couple of other lawyers that didn't want the case themselves. Brian Ellexson reviewed her case and accepted it with monthly payments and the payments didn't have to start until the COVID-19 lock-down was over. A gal called and was unhelpful and was discouraging me from applying, I'm permanently disabled with a disease that gets worse by the day. When I told her the name of my disease, that should've been it. She represented that company as if she was a high schooler working p/t just answering phones. Very unhelpful and clearly they must have enough cases pending that they can pick and chose who they'll help. Again, when I said the name of my disease, that should've been it.
