Jimmy Crook Law was helping me work on my case from my car accident that started back in September, however February of this year I recently filed chapter 7 bankruptcy, I advised the woman who was working on my case towards the end who was Susan what I was doing and I asked if it will effect my bankruptcy and she said no it shouldn't and advise me not to say anything about it. Well it did because I told the truth to my bankruptcy laywer. Unfortunately, I'm not able to keep my settlement check since it goes to the creditors. I not only lost my vehicle from this accident and now I'm going to have to come up with money for a down payment of $6,700 on a new vehicle since I'm losing the settlement check I was suppose to be getting. I was advised by Jimmy I should have or susan should have told him that I was filing bankruptcy, I didn't know I was suppose to call him and tell him.
