The Great Working with my lawyer Janel Cisneros has been fantastic. She is professional, punctual, keeps her word, and follows up on everything. But there were some issues with them being asked to make a call or get a form, and then they just don't do it. Roswill and Lisa were great, but with the others there were issues. 4/5 The bad Towards the end of my case, I had some legal questions that were not a specialty of my lawyer, so she recommended another lawyer her firm works with named David Don. After calling over a few weeks, so scoffed at me, told me it was unfortunate what happened, but he just didn't want the case. A simple no would of been fine, but this guy just wanted to insult me, and was as rude as possible. This is a BIG red mark on The Husband and Wife Law Firm. Associating with someone who treats your clients like that is very insulting, and makes me question where this law firms morals are. My lawyer apologized later, but still a huge F for both here and Mr. Don. 0/5 Well, after a very long wait I was able to experience working with multiple people in this law firm. Janel was a rockstar, the paralegals have a lot to work with, but need a bit of tweaking on following through (except Roswill and Lisa). The David Don incident was a bad stain on my opinion of this place. But overall I'm giving this place a solid 4/5. I'm putting in 5/5 because yelp giving this place 3 point whatever is way too low, and they honestly deserve something in the 4-5 range. 5/5 range if they stop recommending David Don. As their ad states "Do your research." I spent 30 minutes speaking with the intake representative about the accident. She then connected us with an attorney. He informed us that I had a strong case with liability, but my husband didn't, despite being the driver and sustaining a more severe injury. The attorney also mentioned that there wasn't much of a case because no one sought medical attention, there was no blood, and no broken bones were reported. It's sad to think that these are the criteria used to decide whether a case will be taken or not. The attorney said it seems like a road rage incident because my husband honked his horn at the other driver, and we rear-ended him because he braked suddenly. At no time was this a road rage incident. My husband used the horn solely as a warning to alert the other driver that we were already traveling in that lane after the driver unexpectedly entered our path. The horn was intended as a defensive measure to help prevent a collision, not as an act of aggression. My husband wasn't even cited for anything! It appeared to me that the attorney failed to comprehend the details of the accident we were explaining. It sounded like the attorney advised against using your horn and simply letting someone hit you. This didn't make sense to me, so we decided to seek advice from another well-known firm that disagreed with this approach. Furthermore, the attorney was displeased that my husband was arguing with him and persistently insisted to the attorney that it wasn't a road rage incident. However, the attorney refused to listen and it was frustrating my husband. The attorney claimed that he wouldn't tolerate someone screaming at him, but my husband was in another room and was speaking loudly, which was definitely not screaming at this attorney. I was deeply disappointed that this attorney refused to gather all the facts and genuinely listen to a potential client. This experience with this law firm taught me a lesson "listen to your gut and stick to your truth."
