They said they will provide a quote after reviewing which is standard. I sent them the agreements and after two days of review said that this will cost $2,500 and paid the $2,500 dollars. I agreed to this figure and they sent me over a client service agreement which I signed. Two weeks later their billing department reached out and said that in the fine print I was paying per hour ( which is something I was never communicated verbally and hid within the contract). They then went on to say that Me hudspeth actually went over by an hour and I owe them $350 more dollars. I communicated that this is unethical and that it is unjust to hide in the small print and then they proceeded to send me daily payment notifications for the next several weeks. Their response was that I should've been more careful when reading the client service agreement with their law firm and that I owe them the regardless. Overall this is an embarrassment for a law firm to go back on their word over $380 dollars and a massive disservice showing that they will hide items in the fine print to make more money. At some point you will need to hire another law firm to review Hudspeth Law firm agreements just to make sure that they are not over charging you!
