They are great at determining which opportunities will make them the most money. But otherwise, they are not interested in your case. I was referred to a local lawyer matching service, in other words we don't want your business. I called, spent 10 minutes on the phone with an assistant gathering my details, and she said hold on. She said she talked to an attorney and they would like to refer me to the matching service. There was not even a chance to speak to the lawyer. My vehicle is damaged, and the responsible insurance is declining my medical expenses. The only logical explanation I have as to why they wouldn't even consider my case - not enough money in it for them. read more

The last thing I needed after a severe auto accident was to deal with insurance forms and phone calls. Everything was taken care of for me. Joe and the whole ALG team are fantastic. After being rear ended, I was hesitant about getting an attorney because I was afraid I would somehow get scr**ed over, but I was in such a bind because the other driver didn't have insurance and I was racking up medical bills. I'm not keen on attorneys in general, and it was with misgivings that I even went to see one about my car accident. It's just that the kid who rear ended me-his insurance said there were too many cars involved (he hit), and he had minimum 10K coverage (mommy & daddy both drove up in S class Mercedes -one black one white). My neck was really stiff and the next day I had a bad headache. My auto mechanic told me to talk to this guy, an attorney. He promised me he was truly nice-not like the usual sharks. I really don't like those sharks BS attorneys. Well, he talked me into it and I am SO glad he did! Carl was so sweet and not at all like my other dealings with attorneys. When I explained he wouldn't want my case because I wasn't looking to get rich off this stupid accident-I just didn't want to get screwed-he said he understood, and agreed. Really, I thought? But he lived up to his word. He was so professional and knew his stuff. He was fast and was able to get a quick and fair settlement. It was smooth and painless. And the really unexpected part...I LIKED the guy! I can highly recommend him to any of my friends . Be warned, if you are a bullshit person just wanting to try and cash in big time with lies and stuff, he may not be the guy for you. My case was taken by a man named Carl. I had a good amount of info from speaking with the insurance company of the lady who hit me on my bike. Because I knew the max I was able to reach based on the company plan Carl assured me that I would get the max of $15000, minus his percentage and medical visits of course. He then set me up with regular visits at emergency chiropractic. It started out very well, I had no idea how much I was being deceived. The chiropractor offered to pick me up and drop me off in a taxi. I decided after about two visits to uber because of how expensive taxis are and how they would most likely up price what they took out. Not taking taxis did not effect them over charging me, and I was never refunded for my Uber rides. The chiropractor said they take insurance and to address carl about it. None of my emails on the topic were answered and when all was said and done, nobody would even check my insurance to see if I was eligible. I went to a maximum of 20 chiropractor treatments, which were not very helpful. They just hooked me to a tens unit and left me unsupervised. I could have gotten myself a tens unit for $30. After my 20 treatments it was decided not to take my ubering into account or refund me for it. The amount taken out for the chiropractic services was $5,000. An excellent chiropractor would have cost $120 MAX, this chiropractor was not worth that amount in my opinion. I was charged $250 per a visit. Which is just evil of these companies to do to someone badly injured looking for help. After all was done Carl completely denied his original claim on how much he could get me, and said he wasn't going to take the case to court (he originally said he would). I ended up getting 10,000, and after all the money was taken out I left with between 2,600-2,700. Carl ended up getting more than me, again wrong. My injuries are clearly never going to heal. And the company just left my short of what I was owed, angry, and in pain. Do yourself a favor and find someone who actually cares and is not out for all they can get from you. read more
