I left a message over the weekend regarding the potential for qualifying for disability, as many others with my condition have done. To my shock (not just surprise) I received a call Monday morning from the husband of the attorney in this office. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable as if he were an attorney and, despite quickly determining that I would not qualify, he still took additional time to converse with me with further detailed information. Emily Tedone and Andrew Hudson saved me from financial ruin by getting the Social Security review board to reconsider my appeal, of which they said they would wait to come to a conclusion till my radiology and other medical assessments were conducted and submitted. The review board didn't wait, though. They just denied my appeal, meaning the next step would have been waiting a year to appeal to an administrative law judge -- with a 56% chance of that appeal being denied anyway. I was in a tough spot physically, emotionally, and financially. With my denied appeal being reconsidered, Emily knew what documents were needed from my doctor(s) to make clear the merits of my case. The review board found in my favor with the reconsidered appeal, which is something that never would have happened if I were pursuing Social Security Disability benefits on my own (and, I'd guess, even with another law firm). US Disability Group deserves my strongest personal endorsement. I have been slowly losing ground to an ANCA associated vasculitis for the past 5 years. By the spring of 2015 I was no longer even able to complete my daily course instruction for a single section of algebra, and contacted USDG. Emily Tedone and Andrew Hudson are the best people to work with if you have a disability claim. You can't do it alone and they are ALWAYS available!! How rare is that? I think I called one time when I got a recording but someone responded within a few hours. No one gives that kind of service anymore, much less attorneys. They helped me through the process and answered any questions I had. They helped expedite my claim and certainly did not make what I consider even a "reasonable" amount of money for the work they put in.
