The Husband & Wife Law Team - The Husband & Wife Law Team of Mark & Alexis Breyer

The Husband & Wife Law Team

(68 reviews)

I was in a car accident earlier this year, and while I was lying in the hospital bed, I pulled up…read moreChatGPT and asked who the best accident lawyers in Arizona were. This husband-and-wife team was #1 on the list, so I decided to reach out. Since it was a Sunday, I submitted my information online and received a call the very next day. I liked everything I heard and decided to hire them as my lawyers. Best decision I made! From the beginning, they were always on top of everything. Alexandra was excellent and kept me updated every step of the way. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better law team. If you want a law firm that genuinely cares about you, keeps you informed, and is always available when you need them, give them a call. You won't regret it! I've already referred a coworker who was recently in an accident, and he told me his experience with them so far has been exceptional as well. Thank you, Alexandra, Ryan, AJ and the entire team, for everything you did for me! I truly appreciate all of your help and would absolutely recommend you to anyone looking for a great accident attorney in Arizona!

Well, I've been working with this place for about a year and a half now, and there is mostly good…read moreand a little not so good I've dealt with. So here is my honest review... The Great Working with my lawyer Janel Cisneros has been fantastic. She is professional, punctual, keeps her word, and follows up on everything. She was everything I was hoping for in a lawyer, and would I absolutely work with her in the future. Highly recommended! 5/5 The okay The paralegals were very respectful and nice, I'll give them that. But there were some issues with them being asked to make a call or get a form, and then they just don't do it. It was frustrating to say the least, as I had to do a lot of the calling around and legwork in the early parts of the case when I was still recovering. Roswill and Lisa were great, but with the others there were issues. 4/5 The bad Towards the end of my case, I had some legal questions that were not a specialty of my lawyer, so she recommended another lawyer her firm works with named David Don. After calling over a few weeks, so scoffed at me, told me it was unfortunate what happened, but he just didn't want the case. A simple no would of been fine, but this guy just wanted to insult me, and was as rude as possible. This is a BIG red mark on The Husband and Wife Law Firm. Associating with someone who treats your clients like that is very insulting, and makes me question where this law firms morals are. My lawyer apologized later, but still a huge F for both here and Mr. Don. 0/5 Well, after a very long wait I was able to experience working with multiple people in this law firm. Janel was a rockstar, the paralegals have a lot to work with, but need a bit of tweaking on following through (except Roswill and Lisa). The David Don incident was a bad stain on my opinion of this place. But overall I'm giving this place a solid 4/5. I'm putting in 5/5 because yelp giving this place 3 point whatever is way too low, and they honestly deserve something in the 4-5 range. 5/5 range if they stop recommending David Don. Thanks again Janel and say hi to Roswill for me. Enjoy the gift! Edit: I received a call from someone working at the firm to inform me they are no longer recommending Mr. Don, nor are they working with his firm. This is 5/5 attitude to have and makes me want to recommend this place more. See a problem and fix it. Not put a band-aid on it, but fix it. Well done H&W LT.

I have to say that anytime your financial situation is dire and you need help having the help you…read moreneed be professional and trustworthy is key. My experience with them from the very first call to the case being closed was on point. Great follow up if I had questions, they supported me and let me know exactly where we were in the process as it moved along. I highly recommend Stone Rose Law. The team was amazing and honest. Off to making a full recovery! Sincerely, Thank you Stone Rose Law

High-Volume & Little-to-No Accountability…read more **Update: My reply to Stone Rose Law is below** I retained Stone Rose Law in early August 2026 for my VA disability claim. They instructed me not to submit additional evidence and that they would handle development. Over the following weeks I sent multiple emails asking for status and confirmation that key records (oxygen authorization, POTS diagnosis, COPD documentation) had been submitted. Those emails went unanswered. When I finally received a call, the representative offered no update on the file, no plan, and no explanation for the silence. She repeatedly prompted me to terminate the representation. I later learned the claim had already been advanced to decision-letter preparation without the records I had been told not to submit myself. Representation was revoked on October 13, 2026. The result is an incomplete file that will almost certainly require a Supplemental Claim and another 7-9 month delay. If you are a veteran looking for a firm that will actually communicate and develop the evidence it is hired to handle, look elsewhere. After posting nearly the same review on Google, Stone Rose Law responded by attempting to reframe the core issue and heart of my 1-star rating. It was a blatant attempt to shift the narrative to me as an unreasonable client. The reality is, I wasn't attempting to contact the attorneys I had retained in order to have a detailed game-plan presented, or even ask anything that would require any semblance of knowledge of my VA claim. I just needed basic guidance. Things like "...I have a VA exam for disability coming up in a few weeks...are there any pitfalls I should know about?...Anything you'd advise me to not say while there?". If you look at all of their negative reviews, you'll see a pattern. They're more interested in shaming individuals who had a negative experience with them than they are at communicating. If they had put a fraction of that effort into responding to my attempts to communicate with them, I'm sure I'd be at 100% right now. **My Reply to Craig's Response** Stone Rose Law, Your reply is a transparent attempt to rewrite what actually happened. I did not fire off a single impatient "what's going on" email after one week. I sent multiple emails across roughly ten weeks asking for basic guidance on process and an upcoming exam. Those questions required no file access and no review of records. You simply did not answer them. When someone finally called, there was still no update and no plan, only repeated prompting to terminate the representation (I'm referring to Melissa...the only person who called me, ever). The claim then advanced without the records I had been instructed not to submit myself. That is the sequence. You have now chosen to post a defense that blames the client for the firm's silence and pretends the only issue was an unreasonable timeline expectation. It is not. The issue is that the firm did not communicate, did not develop the evidence it was retained to handle, and is now publicly mischaracterizing the record to protect its own narrative. That pattern is visible in other reviews as well. Your lack of ownership lacks the integrity and professionalism I was looking for in a firm. My decision to follow Melissa's advice and leave your firm feels validated.
