In keeping with your mission statement of always providing quality care for your clients, it is unfortunate that I am having to write this review, especially during these unprecedented times. Our groomer, Christina, had transferred our dogs care to the pet parlor after leaving the Dog Spaw due to the dogs being mishandled. I have been taking our yellow lab, Abeygail, to the parlor for her grooming for almost a year now. I followed our groomer over there because I just love the way she grooms Abey and appreciated the heads up on the Dog Spaw. For the last few weeks since the owner, Idi, reopened after the COVID shutdown I have gotten the run around as far as a grooming appointment and the whereabouts of our groomer. At first Idi advised she would get back to me for an appointment. When I didn't hear from the owner I called her again and she said Christina was making her own appointments and that she would call herself. Again I waited several days without a call back. When I called again the owner said Christina hadn't called back because she didn't think Christina wanted to groom Abey anymore. I asked why, but she couldn't give me an answer. I have a yellow lab whom has always been calm for her appointments so this sounded curious to me. I asked if Christina could call back and I could talk to her directly. The owner said she would give her the message, yet still I didn't hear from Christina. Then the owner messaged on Sunday and advised Christina no longer worked there. She also said she didn't want Abeygail coming into her parlor anymore because she felt threatened by me. I am not writing this review to ruin the owners business and would just like some honesty and to be treated professionally. Just be honest and forthright that Christina was no longer working there and I needed to find a new groomer. That is all that needed to happen instead of making up stories about Christina's phone being turned off for 2 weeks and that she was taking clients, but didn't want to take Abeygail anymore. The owner said she felt threatened by me because I advised I would be placing a review of this incident on Yelp. if I had known Abeygail was no longer welcomed in her parlor for a grooming I could have searched for another groomer weeks ago. read more

I have been bringing my beloved pets here for 10 years and have never EVER been disappointed, or concerned about how my dogs are being treated. Not only is Lali the best groomer around, but her prices are fair and she does her best to accommodate her clientele. My shy dog loves going in to be groomed and we trust her enough to have her pet sit for us while on vacation. I am incredibly picky about who I trust with the care of my dogs, and I personally know many others like me who bring their furry family members there as well. I'm not sure why the smear campaign, but I find the number of reviews left within days of one another suspicious at best. Bottom line: if you want a great groomer, give this place a try. read more

The owner of this business treats customers with such disrespect I can only imagine how our dog's are treated. I am left to feel that she is doing me a favor and I should be thankful for her doing my service, rather then she being thankful for my business. I have had my dog trimmed there and when picking up, she looks like she has been shaved like a lamb during their spring cutting! Only asked for a trim mind you, and she was not matted which seems to be the excuse. I am not alone in this review, numerous friends and neighbors have all had a rotten experience there. It is unfortunate because in a small community your reputation is all you have when deciding to operate a business. I've been taking my two dogs here for 8+ years and have never had issues; sure, there have been some odd grooming choices depending on who does the actual cut (ears shaved or cut straight across the bottom, tails feathered or shaved) but I feel that it's mostly a lack of communication and clarity on my part. If I give clear direction, it's always done as requested. If I say just trim them up, then I get what I get and that's my problem, not theirs. I definitely recommend them. read more

Every time I've gone in I have received the best service. staff there are very nice and friendly with my puppy. The first time I went in he was very scared and nervous but the lady was attentive and made me feel good about leaving my 6 month puppy at the groomer's for the first time. Today was our first time trying this groomer and the results were disappointing. Some areas around the head, ears, mouth, and tummy area looked like not a lot of care was taken to provide an even cut. We will do the touch up and trimming to make things look better ourselves. Needless to say we will not be return customers. We were generally not happy with the way things went from standing outside and not being allowed inside during drop off to the way our dog looked after picking him up. read more

Are you fucking kidding me ! I was doing laundry next door and decided to walk in and ask about availability. A young girl and older women were working on two dogs. The older women seemed very frustrated with the poor animals, as they are constantly moving while trimming. She slaps the dog to keep him still. Very sad ! I have been coming here thinking my pup was being received with very loving people who love their job. That explains the fear he's Been performing after his very first appointment :( they get the job done and we love it. But keep In mind we are leaving our dogs and don't see how the job gets done. I think they're great and reasonably priced. I take my 3 dogs (one of which is a bit of a pain in the rear) for a full groom and they do a great job with all! At one point I was mortified with how matted my dogs were and they didn't make me feel like a bad or incompetent pet parent at all. Definitely recommend! read more

Love this place - Axel was able to cut my dogs nail's as a walk-in after two other local pet groomers turned me away. They put love and care into the animals and that makes a big difference to me, as Scout (Ibizan hound mix) is terrified of groomers, loud noises etc. and I try to make his life as comfortable as possible. Great place, easy to get an appointment quickly. Price is good and the people there really seem to love pets. They do a great job with my English Bulldog. I really feel like they are there to make my dog clean and not go through a checklist like a lot of the major chain groomers. I love supporting a local business especially one that does such a great job. I admit that a bath and nail trim on a Bulldog doesn't require the finesse of a perfectly quaffed Shi Tzu, so I don't cannot speak to that, but it's great for what I need. There are a lot of times that I call and they don't get to the phone, but if I leave a good voicemail they call back and help me schedule my grooming. read more

I have a 16 month old Australian Labradoodle and I have tried several groomers in the area and have even gone as far as Seattle. It has been difficult finding a groomer that gets the grooming right for my particular doodle and one that I felt comfortable coming back to. SVPP are friendly, courteous and attentive. They listen to my preferences and do their best to meet them. On my first visit, they gave me good advice on caring for my dog's hair at home. Today was his third grooming with them and he came back looking better than ever. I can usually get in within a week. The price is a little higher than what I've paid at other groomers but I've come to realize that they're worth it and I get the satisfaction of supporting a small local business that takes exceptional care of my pet. read more

If I could give no stars I would!! If you own a doodle I would not suggest going to this place. They shaved our poor puppy down to the skin and a little beyond in some cases, all without asking. It is the middle of winter and they left him with no hair for protection. He was traumatized by the experience! Their explanation was that he had Matts, but we know the Matts were not that bad as we do brush him everyday and there was absolutely no need for them to be this drastic. Also shaved his ears but we ran into Matts here in the past here so had been diligent about brushing ears. There were no Matts on his ears. No blood when we took him home soon blood because of shaking his head. They must have shaved him down to his pink skin to save time. Either charge me more to do it right or just say you don't take doodles. They should not take it out on the poor dog. Very bad experience!!never going back. read more
