I handed the paper to the clerk at the register who immediately asked if I'd be adding a tip. I told him I wasn't sure and would like to see my bill. There was a line of people behind me waiting who overheard him say I NEEDED to tell him if I was adding a tip first. I said no. He continued to press and told me I'd have to sign something extra. I did. By this point he was clearly out to prove something. BTW, my bill was OVER $200! I'm sorry, are they unable to pay their employees? A tip should be for service that is exceeding what's expected. I would have happily tipped my groomer had this not happened. I'll not be returning to PETCO.

I had time to look around at everything I needed. I was stopping in to find a test-kit for my fish tank since I am having issues. I have gone broke trying to get this 29 gallon tank!!!!! So I was very surprised when Dan, had a 30 minutes talk with me, answering my questions, steering me down a sensible path and saving me a lot more money then I was needing to spend. I thought their tanks were great for a busy store. Fish were pretty and looked very healthy. They had a superb selection of live plants, tank backgrounds, fish foods, plant foods, etc. They did have pricey tank decor but that is the #1 observation I have made everywhere, tank decor is as expensive as gas. This store is 35 minutes away from my house, I will be going there and considering this my "GO-TO" fish store. Out of the 5 I have been to, they are reasonable in pricing all around. They could be a little less, but they could also be a little more. This price issue is a reason I will continue to return for mostly affordable fish tank needs. Dan is GREAT! I hope to grow a long term relationship with this staff member as his knowledge, kindness, willingness, and courtesy to save me money, made this a 5 star review! I will call ahead if I can to see if he is working, so I know I am getting consistent advice of how to be a aquarium hobbyist. Thank you OSCP!!

Their employees are friendly and knowledgeable. i have to comment however on my experience with a recent Spa appointment for my dog who was sprayed by a skunk. Admittedly, I tried to treat her at home right after the spraying incident and thought I had done a pretty good job at the time. But, the following day. the odor was still very strong. Two days passed, I decided to inquire about a treatment for her at the Spa at One-Stop, and, they were able to take her in right away. I retrieved my dog after the hour long treatment and noticed an overall improvement but the next day. the odor remained albeit not as strong. I called One Stop to inquire, to ask if my expectation was too high. The young man with whom I spoke assured me my dog had been bathed as I had asked them to do, in other words confirming it had been done, which, of course, I already knew. This is not a note of complaint but to alert anyone who might read this review, to simply learn from my experience...:and to tele the utmost care to keep your pet away from skunks!

The staff at One Stop really know and love animals and can make great recommendations - in my experience they are very honest and knowledgeable and will not try to sell you products that are not appropriate for your pet. One Stop has a large selection of dog products including toys, healthy treats, and apparel. The prices are reasonable. You might pay a little more for some items than you would at a big chain (it really depends on the item, some prices are comparable), but you can find local and specialty products here that Petco doesn't carry and the overall quality of merchandise at One Stop is superior. You are not going to find a really cheap poorly made item or one with suspect ingredients here like you might elsewhere. One Stop also carries carry Ruffwear and Musher's Secret, which are a must for our dog in the winter.
