Absolutely Awful!!!…read more After we signed the contract with Renovate Ease to do a complete bathroom remodel, we met with the contractor who would do the actual work and agreed to what would be done and what I needed to order. After all the products came in, I found out that they were having someone else come out to do the work. When they arrived, they had no idea what needed to be done nor how it was to fit. I had to go through it all again. They installed the towel bars incorrectly and had to patch and do it again. Since this was what they thought was the last thing that had to be done, they asked me to sand, texture, and paint the patchwork after it dried. I told them that was their job and discovered that they didn't install the window surround and they could finish the wall when they came back to install the surround. When they came back, the window surround was not the right one, so they took leftover shower wall and used that. The biggest problem we had was when they removed the old vanity, they discovered that the hot water supply valve was leaking. Instead of replacing the faulty valve, they took the supply hose intended for the new toilet and attached it to the faulty valve and placed the end in a bucket to catch the leaking water. In the early morning hours, the valve failed completely and not only flooded the bathroom, but the furnace room below. They did immediately send a team out to replace the valve and clean up the drywall, insulation, and check the furnace, but would not take responsibility to repair the damage. Four different times over a 46-day period, they told me they would come out and repair the damage only to have no one show up and no communication from them until I asked. I finally had to take them to small claims court to have them pay the cost of the repair and pay for damages to an item that was ruined. The night before the hearing, they brought me a check. I went to the hearing to cover my interests, and judgement was in my favor. The owner of Renovate Ease never showed up to the hearing. I have my doubts if they actually have insurance since I was told they would not be contacting me. I would never recommend them to do anything. They do not communicate, the work is haphazard, and it takes forever to get the job accomplished. Update: in response to Thomas' statement about financials, I am ready to pay whomever I owe. The last communication I got was from a company that took over their accounts receivables for whatever reason. I was told not to pay Renovate Ease. As soon as this is resolved, I will gladly pay.

I was hired as the New Shop Welder at the Brigham City shop, a position that they could not fill for 8 plus months, i found out just after my second day their that they had a management issue like most companies do, This individual is a Micro Manager King!! but doesn't say anything to you but to other people and then you find out later!! After I took the OSHA 10 course I assumed that all safety issues would be non existent, but after seeing that lack of safety in the mechanic shop and not one safety meeting I knew that something was off. Multiple times other coworkers would come into my Weld Bay without any of the required PPE's!! After telling these concerns to my supervisor he said " oh you wanna play it like that huh....okay!" Four days later i was fired! Be careful going to this company , if they see you as a threat or a problem you will not be working for them long.

Whittaker Construction has shown an obvious lack of integrity in the way they handle business and…read morepublic relations. They performed work this last winter on 400s in Salt Lake City. During that time they had placed construction signs along the roadway. The signs were not secure and as a result the wind blew a sign apart and into my truck causing damage. I called and spoke with Nicole and she requested a statement and repair estimates. I initially got the feeling that I would be taken care of. I complied with her requests and in return I received a letter from the company's attorney informing me that they deemed my claims to be false and would not be taking care of the damages that I claimed were caused by them. I have pictures and a witness to validate my claims. I served this state and county for ten years in the Utah National Guard and I would not compromise my integrity with a false claim. I plan to place this experience on as many review forums as I can and will be writing a letter to the Salt Lake Public Works office, and the offices of all neighboring cities to make sure that their poor business practices are known by the people who would hire them.
