Unlike traditional shaved ice that can be crunchy or icy, this one is unbelievably smooth and fluffy, practically melting in your mouth with every bite. The fresh mango flavor is sweet, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. Oh, they should add a banana foster and halo halo to their menu! They are very friendly and extremely efficient in handling our business. The kids love their shave ice, even our staff members love them! I've had the opportunity to try them on this last visit. I ordered the mango chamoy, but they ran out of chamoy sauce, and it still tasted fine. Their portions are HUGE so I opted for an extra small portion to save me from guilt! We will definitely continue to use them as long as our kids love them!

We ordered mango and kinako (a roasted soybean flour commonly mixed with sugar). These are large desserts! It takes time to make them since there are fresh ingredients inside. The mango was superb with little bits of fresh mango buried inside the ice. Not sickeningly sweet like the syrups most places use. My husband's had little mochi pieces mixed inside. It is common to add kinako to mochi so this was a bonus and a nice surprise. The kinako dessert was sweeter than the mango. Please know that there seems to be no a/c in this little shop but she has fans going. We went in the late afternoon so it was really uncomfortable inside. I had to leave and wait outside until the dessert was ready. It's hard to take these home as it melts fast so we sat inside to enjoy them.
