When you ask a question, they do the minimum possible to check the box. You feel their annoyance; it's palpable. While last shopping there, I overheard a male staff member taking customers' phone calls. Abrasive and curt on every single one ...mental note to never call this store. I like to support local, brick and mortar shops, but when the inventory is lacking and the service is nonexistent-to-rude, what's the point? Beyond that, the physical space is 50% the size needed to support the amount of inventory they have. Perhaps the cramped quarters contribute to the simmering hostility. That's an extra $11.00 that the customer has to pay for an error on their part. Honestly, this is no way to treat your customer. I've emailed the store as I live in California. I will update if there are any changes. I'm happy to report that this company provided the return label which saved me money to return the shoes. My refund was provided in a timely manner. I appreciate a company that provides good service to their customers, for this reason I have given them 4 stars. Mistakes happen. They were out of the black pair so I asked for a refund. I've since purchased my boots from Nordstrom (another excellent) company. In the future I will consider shopping at Foot Paths because of their excellent customer service.

She and her family buy out leftovers from some great stores and if you pay over $100 for any one of their designer finds I'd be shocked. I just bought three winter coats for nieces and two from some hi end German designer I never would've heard of. Or afforded. Going back to ship her night hours for something nice for daughter and mom. Sometimes I just give her dollar amount, number of gals and sizes and voila, shopping done. My mom and I visited today to get some new sneakers. My mom walks with a cane and was disappointed…read morethat her favorite walking shoes were no longer being made. All was not lost as Sylvia was helping us and offered several different options for my mom to try. She was super helpful, even helping my mom get the shoes on and lacing them up. I can't remember the last time I've seen that level of assistance in a shoe store. She was absolutely fantastic with my mom, answering questions and even showing her a special way of lacing her sneakers to help prevent heel slippage. My mom ended up getting two pairs of shoes that she said were so comfortable, and raved about Sylvia to the woman at the register. I took a star off as I'm a size 11ish and can rarely find shoes that fit me-most shoes only had sizes up to 10 available, but I'm so glad my mom had such a great experience today.

Freebird has a distinctive style and their shoes and boots are like leather works of art... it was fun to browse and see what was available in store and have the chance to see and try on some items in person.
