This shop is such an unassuming little gem. And I love that proceeds from sales go to Wayne HS…read morescholarship fund. The group of ladies who keep this place going curate it nicely for each season and rotate in and out decor for all the major holidays. The home goods section is pretty stocked too. They've got picture frames and art, baskets, glassware and mugs, plates and platters. Lots of treasures if you take a few minutes to check the shelves. Currently they are bursting with bunnies and all things green. Next up will be loads of colorful platters and such for your summer bbq's and then they'll roll in the pumpkins and all the fall things. The kids section is a fav. They've got it nicely organized with various toys, puzzles, games and lovies. Recently scored a baggie of plastic dinos for $1. My 2yo was pretty pumped especially when I pull the T-Rex out of the bag. Books are located at the back and range from 50 cents up to a couple bucks. There are shelves of kids books, cookbooks, fiction novels, etc. All in pretty good condition too. Left recently with a couple kids books that looked brand new. The clothing section is one that I haven't dove too far into.. yet, as I never seem to have enough time/without a child to be able to go through the racks. But there's a ton of stuff to look through. Women's clothes, men's clothes and kids clothes. Plus a few racks of accessories and shoes. I have peeked at prices as I wondered past and there really are some awesome deals to be had if you have the time. A couple random tips for shoppers: The shop is open weekdays and then one Saturday a month. That Saturday is packed. Every single time I've gone. And sometimes with overly aggressive bargain hunters. If crowds are not your jam then I suggest going on a weekday. The shop is a very decent size but they've also packed a lot into it so the aisles are not wide... and it is not easy to navigate a stroller through. Trust me I've tried. If you need a stroller to be able to do some shopping then I, again, I recommend going on a weekday. Bonus tho - the shop is accessible! Enter on ground level and no steps to worry about.

I got measured up and when I got up to the register I was shocked to see the price. It was double what Men's Warehouse charges (got married recently. I know how much they charge). I thought to myself, ok it's a small shop. I'm sure they make up for it with great customer service, something large corporations can't always do. Fast forward to August. I get a call late Wednesday night to come pick up my tux. I couldn't get there Thursday due to work, so I show up first thing Friday morning. I get handed my suit and get shuffled out the door. I request to try it on and that's where all the problems start. My jacket was like 4 sizes too small. The manager of the store begins his rant about how this is my fault because I didn't come in on Thursday. I tell him he needs to fix it and he said it won't be a problem because there's tons of material in the jacket. I took the rest of my crap suit and went home. I go back the morning of the wedding and "Moe" started looking for my jacket. I try it on and nothing was fixed. Moe confirmed my suspicions and told me it was my fault because I didn't come Thursday (again and again). I go through the wedding with a suit that was pilled and looked like it was dragged behind a pick up truck for a few miles. Of course I had to wear my tiny ass jacket that I couldn't button. I looked like Chris Farley wearing David Spade's jacket in Tommy Boy. Oh and on top of everything else, my shoes were two different sizes. Not shoe sizes, physical dimensions. One was about 3/4" too small. When I returned this sad excuse for a suit, I asked for a refund because services were not provided and I pretty much got told to go fuck myself. The manager walked out of the store right in the middle of a conversation. I spoke to the owner (I think?) and he said we would be getting an insulting amount of money back (which hasn't happened yet a week and half later) and they don't automatically give you back your deposit. How many people are they scamming for 40 bucks because they don't know better. Stay away and just go to Men's Warehouse. They have more resources and they give you a lot more time to make sure your suit or tux is right. These guys are just assholes. Plain and simple.
