I am desperate for money to pay for my son's sports this year so I thought I might try here instead of Plato's Closet. But horrific idea, she offered me $55 for all of that! If I went to Plato's they would have given me more. I will never ever sell my things here again. Feel totally taken advantage of and ripped off. Seemed like she was trying to lowball me a price when Plato's has set prices they can't change! I told her I would take back the jewelry and she could have everything for $40 which is still crazy! I looked around and saw prices while I was waiting, I know she's going to sell each of my jeans for over 25$ and the coats easily $30. She told me she would send me the list of what she chose but I never received a copy from her. I took photos of all the pieces she took and I paid the $10 fee and got a receipt for it. On the receipt it said I would get 45% of the sales price and AFTER 90 DAYS, IF UNSOLD, THE CLOTHING WOULD BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE STORE A week later I went in to see how my clothing was priced but only found about half put out. The most expensive pieces were not there. I went through every rack carefully. I asked the owner where they were and she said they were out but didn't have time to show me where. I stopped in 3 more times and could not find any of my expensive pieces anywhere in the store. I took pictures of the racks. Each time the sales person said she was too busy to show me where they were. On Nov. 20, 2024 I stopped in and th saleswoman said 3 were sold but again I couldn't find almost half of my pieces. So I asked the saleswoman to please have the owner call me and I wanted all my unsold clothing back. If I waited much longer the rest would become the property of the store. The next day I received a call from the owner and she said I could come an get my things. I reminder her that I wanted to get a check for the amount owed me. When I came in she gave me the clothes but the expensive pieces still weren't there. Gina said they sold. Hmm- in one day? I received a check from her for what she said sold. Please remember I was never able to confirm what price she asked for those pieces as they were never put out. I feel if I wasn't so diligent I am sure I never would have been paid for those expensive pieces and everything but three pieces would have become their property.

The most distressing part of my visit occurred as I was putting my shopping cart away. My cashier, Samia T, was talking about me to a colleague while looking directly at me and laughing. This behavior was derogatory and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome. To be mocked by the very staff member that assisted with the checkout is utterly unacceptable. The hostility continued at the register. Samia T was slamming my items onto the counter after scanning them, showing a complete lack of care for my purchases. The situation culminated when she refused to sell me a symbolic, holy item because the price tag had fallen off - an issue caused by the store's own poor labeling, which I noticed throughout the disorganized shelves. When I requested a manager to resolve the matter, I was met with further disappointment. The manager was entirely lacking in compassion and flatly refused to price the item - despite my explanation that the sticker had fallen off and adhered to another item in my cart. I left your store feeling devalued and disgusted. The combination of being laughed at by your staff and the cold, unhelpful response from management suggests a significant breakdown in your customer service standards. I trust you will investigate this matter with the seriousness it deserves. Customers are asked to make an additional donation at the end of a purchase but won't sell a symbolic holy item for $2.99.
