After I repeatedly expressed concern, especially since the medication wasn't doing much at all, the guy finally walked in cupping the vial in his hand with a sticker slapped on it. I'd never seen the label or heard of the company, and it very clearly looked hand-applied. Super sketchy. I've since seen other reviews claiming their medication was expired. But I can't find those reviews now? Everything they use is compounded, and was it tirzepitide or semaglutide? I was told I got both, but semaglutide is less, and I was paying for Tirzepitide. when you ask direct questions, they play dumb or straight up lie to your face. This happened nearly EVERY TIME I WENT . The doctor who signed me up told me one price. The following week, I came in and suddenly the price was different by more than a hundred dollars. and they refused to honor what I was promised, even though I was told it would be honored if I came in by the end of the week. The doctor was standing right there and pretended she didn't know me and claimed she wasn't the one who signed me up. She absolutely was. She had no problem taking my money, though. At one point she had me second-guessing myself because she swore it wasn't her, yes she lied to my face. I think they were hoping I'd let it go. I didn't . I asked the woman at the front desk, who literally had my file open, who the doctor was that I met with. She looked at the file, and stared not saying a word. surprise: it was the same doctor who had just said she'd never seen me. That was the biggest red flag of all. I should have cut my losses and left but I stayed with them thinking I didn't have a better option. The shot before my last one was a completely different consistency and entirely different color than what I'd been given before. They have a file on me as a patient and should be guiding my care, yet I was told I needed to ask for whatever they gave me previously?!?! Wild to think these "doctors" don't read or know their own patients' files. Had I known about Lilly Direct sooner, I would've gone there first. At least you know you're getting pure medication that hasn't been cut with anything else. You get the vials, you know what's going into your body and you're not "hoping" for the best. This place is a scam. Don't waste your money. Maybe I'll grow a tail later from whatever they injected into me, who knows. If privacy matters during services where you're partially undressed, keep that in mind before booking. Energy & Professionalism Nearly every visit involved long, negative conversations about personal issues, family drama, or complaints about other clients. I eventually started bringing AirPods just to tune it out. Given that pattern, I wouldn't be surprised if I'm now the topic of conversation as well. Appointments were routinely 30-60 minutes late, with scheduling mix-ups where I was mistaken for another client and received hostile messages before the mistake was realized. On one visit, her elderly mother was present during my service, which felt very unprofessional given the intimate nature of the treatment. Final Experience For my last appointment, which I scheduled a week in advance, I arrived early and was told she would be late. Shortly after, the timing changed again and part of the service I booked was no longer being offered. Monica never approved mine and made no effort to reach out, even with my appointment request pending for days. I texted her at 10 AM on August 27, and only then did she acknowledge my appointment for August 28 at 9 AM. An hour before my appointment, she canceled claiming a power outage however I have a friend who lives less than two minutes from her shop and their electricity was fine, so I am not sure how valid that excuse really was. At first, I wasn't upset because cancellations happen and I simply requested a refund from Groupon. I even provided screenshots of our full text thread showing that Monica canceled on me. Instead of being honest, Monica lied and told Groupon that I was a no-show. When I confronted her about it with proof, she responded by saying she would reach out to Groupon to correct the issue and still claimed that she did not cancel the appointment. Less than 24 hours later, Groupon emailed me again saying the merchant reconfirmed I was a no-show and even provided "photo evidence." How that's possible when my only communication with this business is in the attached text thread where she clearly cancels is beyond me. That false statement blocked my refund and left me having to dispute the charge with my bank. This is very unprofessional and consumer fraud. If you are considering these businesses (LB Sculpt x Cali Bods), beware. The lack of integrity, poor communication, and dishonesty about cancellations show they do not operate ethically. No customer should ever be lied about or penalized just so a business owner can avoid issuing a refund.
