I've heard from a few folk that Marion was exceptional, and a bit of a legend in the pioneering of healthy skin care in The States. She originally hails from the UK, and what's extraordinary is that she fuses both the class, attention to detail, and expertise of European skin care with the warmth and hospitality and transparency of the better parts of American culture. Everyone's experience with facialists varies greatly, but for the most part, I've found that there's a great deal of emphasis usually put on the products, and a great deal of sitting around with masks left on - and often times very little actual work done by the aesthetician. Marion is the complete opposite: she's with you the entire time, working one part of your face or the other, and clearly genuinely cares about the well-being of her clients - and the well-being of humanity in general. Located in an upscale private spa on iconic 3rd Street, near Sofitel and the Beverly Center, there's plenty of street parking, and also an adjacent parking lot one can comfortably park in for several hours. Most shocking of all, despite her having the expertise and clientele (yes... Beverly Hills Housewives, and A Listers too!) that would warrant charging three times what she charges... Marion keeps the price point incredibly attainable. Lastly, I shared that I wanted to leave with at least one new product to just keep ensuring that I was doing the best by my skin, particularly during this crazy summer heat wave - and not only did Marion generously throw in a ton of samples, but she ensured I walked away with exactly what I needed, while caring greatly about me not over-spending. Just truly exceptional attention and care. There are, of course, about a thousand aestheticians and advertised "facialists" within the Los Angeles area... but do yourself a favor: Call Catherine and try to get yourself an appointment within the next month... During my appointment, she "lasered off" the moles, however, I could still see the moles and she lied by saying it'll fade as it heals...(as you can see in the picture, the moles weren't removed like she promised and as I paid for, !!!!though it did leave scars!!!!) - she haggled with me on the pricing like some swap meet and then still made me pay hundreds for VERY poor to basically no service and then tried to up-sale her own collection of skincare after trying to convince me I "have very bad skin". I suggest, seek real professionals with quoted prices to avoid scams like this place.
