The food was fine, and it delivered what I needed when I got off a train late and it was the only place still serving food. If I had gone here for a regular meal I'd be much less happy given the inside smoking and food quality.

Came here to watch an England game during the Euro 2016 on a weekday around 2PM. Had a couple of…read morebeers and food. Although it was quite busy we had no issue getting food and drinks in a timely fashion. First Impression: Just like any "Irish" pub I have been to anywhere in the world, but with an extra floor. Very crowded (keeping in mind the game was on). Service: Was served beer at the bar quickly. We sat down at a table and the waitress asked us if we wanted to order food, we did but we had to take a look at the menu. Once we had decided what we wanted we only had to wait around 15 minutes for the food to arrive. Atmosphere: With the game going it was very loud, and a lot of people possibly on their way to/from the airport with all of their bags, so very crowded. For some reason all of the TVs were tuned to different channels for half of the game so half of the pub was on a channel which was 1 minute delayed. That was slightly annoying but eventually we got all of the screens changed to the same channel. Food: I ordered a veggie burger with chips. I was very impressed with the burger which was quite large and seemed to be homemade. I could easily say this was one of the best veggie burgers I have ever had, (forget the bland frozen small fried burger you get at many places). The bun was not very good though, mediocre bread. Nothing really special about the chips they seemed like average fluffy oven chips. The salad was nice and came with dressing already on it. Drinks: Selection was okay, exactly what you would expect from an Irish pub. There were a few craft beer choices of which I was surprised. I ended up ordering a pint of Sagres Lager. Price: In total the meal with a beer was around €14, which I thought was quite reasonable. Restrooms: Average restrooms that were clean. Nothing to complain about. Overall: A nice pub if you're looking to watch any UK or Irish games. Decent food and a nice selection of beers. Near the center of all of the tourist activity so as you could guess the prices are not exactly the cheapest but they are also not astronomical.

The service was phenomenal. The food is brew food so not many great options but the quality is good. The beer selection is also great. 10/10 spot given what it is. Can highly recommend.

Quimera brews its own beers, at the moment there are 12 in a variety from sours to stouts. I had their American Wheat to start with my burger, a Mexican Chocolate Imperial Stout to finish the chips, and a Blackberry Sour for dessert. All were excellent examples of these specific varieties. The American wheat was absolutely perfect and sour was indeed sour so if that's your thing, you will enjoy. Not a huge variety of food on the menu and I hesitated over the sandwiches, landing on the classic burger. Cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion on a locally baked brioche bun, it was delicious. A little messy but a fun dinner that ended up being my last full meal in Lisbon. Great atmosphere, Quimera is a former cavalry tunnel. Completely underground (though there are some outside tables) and I would guess it might get a bit interesting when it's busy. Ask for the wifi password as you probably won't get a cell signal in here. [Review 19065 overall - 258 in Portugal - 34 of 2023.]
