We couldn't be happier with the care our granddaughter receives at this daycare.

The staff was so welcoming and caring and it really felt like each day we were taking him to our family member's home to be cared for. Our son has been at Oxford Babies for 2 years now and we've moved out of the area -- saying goodbye to this amazing team was hard for us and for them (lots of tears between us on the last day!) They really loved our son as we have. They have watched him grow, helped us through many of those crazy stages in the first few years, and have felt like a team of second moms to my husband and I. The Oxford Babies staff truly cares about each of the children there. We have watched our son grow tremendously under their care and I cannot say enough good things about them!

Being first time parents, we felt extremely comfortable leaving our little girl in the care of wonderful, sweet and compassionate teachers. We like the smaller ratio of teachers to babies versus other schools. The price was also a big plus compared to others in the area, like Primrose. Our daughter loves going to school every day and all of the teachers love on our daughter by teaching her everyday. We are so blessed to have found Oxford!

PARENTS BEWARE !!!…read more The following is an 100% honest review based on my experience. Legacy Academy looks clean and safe but don't be fooled. My daughter attended Legacy Academy when she was 6-9 months (mid-Aug '24 thru mid-Nov '24) and it was a fucking nightmare from the start. I'm talking billing issues, misleading use of cameras, diaper rash, and multiple incidents involving trauma to my child's head - but, for this review we'll focus on the most recent incident. On Nov. 19th Legacy Academy had a gas leak so they evacuated all the babies outside the building (on a cold & rainy day). This part is important because the gas leak is what led to the next chain of events (and a very chaotic morning in general). When the infants were brought back into the building they were placed in the toddler room where gas levels were "safe" but apparently the environment wasn't safe because there was no age appropriate seating for babies, which brings their emergency practices into question. While waiting in the toddler room, my daughter was sat on top of a toddler table (not a high chair, not strapped in) and was fed yogurt. The spoon dropped on the floor and the teacher stepped away to clean the utensil but left my baby unattended. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know what happened next - Yes, my energetic 9 month old crawled off the table and hit the floor!!!! But wait, it gets worst! This incident happened sometime between 8:30-9am, however I wasn't notified until 10:41am (timeframe violates the parent "incident" notification policy). When the Assistant Director (Michelle) finally called --she didn't even tell the full truth. She called to tell me that my daughter fell and hit her head on the table, so I asked her to repeat that part just to be clear about what happened....also asked did she fall off the table. She said NO she only hit her head on the table - the lie detector determined that was a LIE!!! Luckily, there were witnesses in the room that were able to recount and confirm the TRUTH. Plus, the teacher was very open and honest and apologetic about everything. Lying about a child's incident (especially one involving head trauma) is very scary and dangerous! Far worst than the teacher's mistake in my opinion. The owner (Barbara) and assistant director (Michelle) at Legacy only cared about protecting themselves and the optics of the incident. I mean why else would they wait so long to inform me and then LIE about what actually happened. Side bar - this was the second time she fell over and hit her head but that was a different room / teacher - maybe I'll do another review to cover that incident. So parents beware and don't be fooled by the nonsense they speak about we're loving and caring like an extended family, blah, blah, blah....If that were true Barbara or Michelle would have personally reached out to check on her the days after (we never heard from them and we never returned) I honestly never thought I would have to write a review like this but I just don't stand for the lies and lack of transparency. I'm only sharing my experience because this could be the one reveiw that helps a parent decide the best place for their child. If you love your baby DO NOT send them to Legacy Academy.

We always felt confident dropping them off, knowing they were safe, supported, and having fun. The staff were kind and invested in each of our children's growth, and the teachers became like family - especially Ms. Vanessa and Ms. Alexander. Ms. Beverly and Ms. Pauline really took the time to listen and help when I had questions or concerns. Thanks to the dedication of the staff, our kids were more than prepared for kindergarten. Although they are now in elementary school, they still come to Bright Minds during their school breaks and always have a fun time!

When reading the…read morewebsite, touring the facility with the owner, Miss Beverly and going through the orientation process we felt good about what was being presented. We were asked about our baby's needs, we were asked to fill out a meal plan, sleep schedule and were told they would make every effort to follow it. We were made to feel like our baby would receive love and care. It was much to our disappointment that the teachers in the classroom my baby was in did the exact opposite. Babies were being left to cry with little to no comfort, expected to stay in a crib for 2 hours whether they were taking a nap or not, if my baby fell asleep before "nap time" and woke up while other babies were asleep, he was confined to a high chair. He was fed another babies food on multiple occasions, sent home with other babies bottles. There were times my baby went the whole day with only one bottle and only got it because I called and asked them to give him his bottle. The teachers were rude anytime I called with a concern I was either spoken to rudely or hung up on. The lead teacher is ruff with the babies and picks them up by the arms. They refused to follow any suggestions I had to help my baby take a nap or eat. One time I called and asked them to please try and feed my baby again because he barely ate his lunch and was told "No we are not doing that lunch time is over." We are talking about infants here. A few of the teachers really tried but there were so many issues and concerns all brought to Miss Beverly's attention. She is a nice lady but the staff do not listen to her or respect her or the GA state laws for childcare. I had to pull my son out because the things I was witnessing were very upsetting. We saw improvements after several complaints but it was never consistent.
