Where do I start? Before Sunbrook Academy, my son was so shy and even more reserve than I wanted him to be. I felt like he was lagging behind his peers when it comes to expressing himself verbally. Thanks to Sunbrook Academy, my son has since grown leaps and bounds not only in his speech, but in other areas such as confidence, assertiveness and of course academically. I cannot believe it when people are telling me how advance he is verbally for his age. So proud. I am especially impress with Miss Britney who was Joshua's first teacher at the school. From day one she made a positive impact on my son's life by providing a warm caring atmosphere for my son to thrive and grow in. The Faculty and Staff are also always caring, polite and friendly. I am 100% comfortable leaving my child in their care without feeling the need to worry. My son loves the school and is always eager to go each day. I strongly recommend this school to anyone looking for a place for their child to learn, grow and develop. read more

The center is amazing. The Directors, Regina and Brittany are so friendly and willing to help in anyway possible. My daughter is in the Pre-K 3 and started when she was in the two year old class and she has truly learned so much. She cant wait to come to school and see her teachers. She has this eagerness to learn and the joy on her face in the morning when she is greeted is priceless. Her teachers do an amazing job with keeping her on a daily routine , which I can tell by the way she acts on the weekend, and a great job with involving parents by sending home homework. I never worry about my child while she is at school because I know, her teachers will call me if she doesn't seem herself and that really gives me a since of security. I would rate five stars, but they are still working on menu changes. I don't really like the cookies and things for snack-but they have been switching to healthier snacks. Once the menu is changed up some, I would definitely rate with five stars!! read more

This is our first time as a attending family at Sunbrook Austell Georgia location and I have 2 girls age 4 that is attending the Georgia Pre-k. My kids came from a structured environment and have been in daycare since 3 months so I was very skeptical at first based off feedback I read on Georgia Pre- k. However, let me the first to say I was completely wrong. We absolutely love it. My girls teacher is Ms. Rochelle Neal and she is amazing. The love, compassion, enthusiasm she has for those kids is what we love. How she pushes them challenges them is great. I love the daily calendar she sends home with assignments to work with them on make it easier on me to know what I need to focus on. She's so personable, super responsive and I couldn't be more happy. Due to COVID-19 the classroom was closed for 14 days and the organization and planning that was put in place as the kids worked remote was outstanding and another great example how awesome she is. read more

I definitely recommend Sunbrook Academy at Barnes Mill. After exploring other day care centers this location gave us warm and fuzzy feelings that our infant would be well taken care of. Sending our first child to daycare was a challenging experience for us in the beginning. His teachers are outstanding, and have made the transition very easy for my husband and I with consistent updates about his progression, and ultimately showing us that they possessed the perfect amount of patience to give us a peace of mind to leave him each day. The directors are exceptional, and are an added peace of mind, ultimately assisting us in our adjustment. We are strong believers that you know you are in the right place when it "feels right". Well Sunbrook Academy is just that. It feels like a family friendly environment. Seeing our son's face light up when he sees his teachers lets us know that he is being treated well, and it truly shows in his development. read more

I have two children attending Sunbrook. My daughter has been there since it opened, in Sept 2011. My son started as an infant in Jan 2013. I have always felt that they are well cared for and in a loving environment. At 20 months, my son knows his colors, can count to 10, and his language skills surpass most other children his age (including many that I know in the care of full-time, stay-at-home parents). Most importantly, he loves school and is always happy when I drop him off and pick him up. My daughter has excelled at Sunbrook. She loves practicing her writing at home and can write many short words from memory now. Both of my children love to read, which I credit in part to the time spent reading at Sunbrook. The school provides a great blend of structured care and unstructured free-play. The school is always clean, provides state-of-the-art technology and the playground is safe and well-equiped. Our daughter is 2 and has been attending Sunbrook since she was 6 months old. Our son is 10 months old and began attending when he was 6 weeks old. Between them we have been in 5 different classrooms and have had extremely positive experiences in all of them. They do a wonderful job of hiring teachers that live their jobs and care about the children. My daughter is excited to go to school everyday and can't wait to tell us what she did that day. I love seeing her face light up when she tells me what she learned and did with her friends. She hugs her teachers when she leaves and talks about them on the weekend. She has learned so much and is extra excited on Tuesdays for music class! Sunbrook does a great job of communicating to the parents and keeping us informed of our child's milestones and events throughout the day. We appreciate the photos and videos that are in KidReports and know our kids are loves while we're at work! read more

My children attend this school and I could not be happier. Contrary to the other review, I have not seen a turnover with teachers and my kids have attended this school for a year now. My children come home excited about what they learn and are excited to go to school the next day. I do however notice sometimes there can be a lack of communication, but that is something that has improved. I don't like the snacks they serve. Snacks are usually cookies or something sweet, nothing really healthy. A new menu is coming soon that offers more fresh fruits and healthier choices so we'll see how his changes. Other than that, my kids love, I love it, and we couldn't be happier. The assessments my children receive are amazing. The teachers really keep track of what the kids are doing and record it from the beginning. Really impressed. read more

This is a terrific school! We love it! My children are so happy and are learning so much! The owner, management and teachers are all great and very friendly. They make us feel at home every day. The school is clean and well run with lots of fun activities and opprtunities for me to get involved. I always recommend Sunbrook to my friends and neighbors. Many of them have enrolled and all of them are happy. We are so glad we found this school for our kiddos! In response to a prior post...how can you be fooled for a year? Sounds like an angry post to get back at them for making the decision they made. But you can't please everyone all the time. read more

My son has been a Sunbrook Academy at Barnes Mill student since he was 8 months old. He is turning three this month and we still love Sunbrook! The staff at Sunbrook really cares about their students. Mrs. Regina, the Director, is awesome. She is very responsive to each student and/or parent's need. As an educatior I can honestly say that I am extremely impressed with this SCHOOL! Curriculum is important to the staff and educating the children from infant to kindergarten is a focus for the owner. It is impressive that children are encouraged to explore, create, and learn rather than be 'baby sat' with televisions, computers, etc. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who wishes their child to be in a safe, loving, educational setting!!! read more

I have been a teacher and parent at this location for five years now. My son grew up here and still asks to come back all the time (hes now in kindergarten). The teachers here love what they do and know all the children in the building, even if they do not have them in their class. We work together and help out where ever help is needed. We respect each other and love to work with our children. I love working here! read more

Teachers who say bad things about a school after they get fired should have never stayed there you are the awful one because if these things are or where happening you must have agreed with them don't be angry now my children happen to go there and I think the school is great and all the teachers and the front office staff is the best I would say good luck to you in what ever you decide to do. read more

My son has been attending Sunbrook since December 2014 when he was an infant. All of the teachers, directors and other staff have been very caring and nurturing towards him.
