We couldn't be happier with our experience at this school. The positive impact it has had on our son's life is truly amazing we've seen so much growth, confidence, and happiness in him since he started here. The teachers and staff are incredibly friendly, supportive, and genuinely care about the children and their success. So as a teacher here at Primrose MacLand Pointe, I've enjoyed every second of working here. I have made meaningful connections with all my students and parents. I also made some long-lasting friendships as well with a few of my coworkers. If you are looking for a job to not only work at but call family, I would definitely recommend this school! An not just because I work here but because I've been in childcare for about 4 years now and when I tell within those four years, I've worked at some of the greatest places and not so great places but i can honestly say this has been one of the best, so I highly recommend trying this school! read more

Their hours are not consistent with their website when I spoke to the representative she said they were changed more than a year ago but have not bothered to update. I don't expect the website to give you all the information you need to make a decision On childcare, I do however expect it to be consistent and give accurate information. read more

We recently moved across the country to Georgia. Upon arrival, I started looking into daycare options for our 3 year old and infant. I quickly learned that there are huge gaps in the level of care that we were used to and what I found here...until I found Primrose. Everyone on staff at Primrose is loving, kind and welcoming. Teachers greet my daughter as we're walking to/from her classroom, even though she hasn't been in their classes. They rave and coo over our baby; somebody is always telling me how wonderful he is:) The teachers in each classroom are attentive and loving. My baby boy had colic and reflux, so he cried a lot until he outgrew it. The teachers were patient and experienced. I felt the love as soon as I walked into his room. Now that he's been there a few months, it's fun to see his eyes light up and his grin when he sees one of his teachers! He has never cried when I leave, which I attribute to how loved he feels in their care. When we moved, our 3 year old daughter's world completely changed. We moved across the country, away from family, friends, and her school. Everything she knew changed. Once she started at Primrose, she started to return to her former happy self. The preschool teachers are amazing. Their structure, love and guidance really helped our daughter adjust quickly. She has learned so many things! I was worried that she would fall behind where she was, but she's in good hands and us doing great. Last week we were at the store and she found a little American flag. She picked it up and recited the Pledge of Allegiance in its entirety...at 3 years old! The administrative staff are great. Any time I have a question, they take the time to answer. You can tell that they enjoy their jobs. Not only do I see how they lovingly treat my children, but I see them treat the other kids with love, too. I can't say enough good things about Primrose at Macland Pointe. My children are precious; they're my world. I know that they're getting the best possible care here. read more

Overall, I would say that the school is clean and generally safe. Many of the early preschool teachers are sweet and really love kids. In our experience, we found that the director was dishonest and fake, she frequently pretended to follow-up on our concerns when she really just filed them away and put on a good cover up when we came in for pick-up and drop off. Also, some of the teachers do not do a good job of leaving their problems at home. They are disengaged and very preoccupied during class time which causes them to be moody and snappy with the kids and parents. One of the Pre-K teachers has a clear reputation for being disrespectful to parents and kids. Her attitude is so intense and distasteful that the kids were frequently acting out by crying, fighting or zoning out in order to cope... This teacher did not use healthy tactics to help kids thrive in her class. No facility should allow a teacher to dominate their classroom atmosphere with constant mood swings or intimidation. Good teachers do not overwhelm parents with constant complaints; this is really an indictment against the teacher, not the kid. If all kids who went to Pre-K were already well adjusted and perfect, there would be no need for Pre-K. My advice would be to seek out a school with a proven track record of teaching and nurturing kids. read more

Our son was at the school for a little less than a month and from day 2 of attending he hated it there. When he woke up in the AM he would immediately start crying saying he didn't want to go to school. He wouldn't play with the kids, he wouldn't eat or nap - nothing. He just whined throughout the day wanting to go home. We thought it would just take time and getting used to - since it was a new school for him (we moved from Smyrna). As it turns out it just seemed like he really didn't like one of the teachers there - he complained on 2 occasions of her pinching him and hitting his bottom (the later of which we have a picture of the mark on his bottom). Both times we complained and the director and owner were super concerned and did their investigation, but ultimately it was a situation where they of course did not believe what our son said occurred and believed the teacher - even saying that the teacher is now scared of our son and insinuated that maybe it is best he attend another school. The minute that was said I was done with Primrose. I understand that maybe our son was strong willed and being difficult in adjusting - it has been a lot of changes in his life lately - but that is not how this all should have been handled. Within 2 days he was attending another school and has now been there for a little over a week and while yes he cries when drop off occurs - he is adjusting there way more easily and faster too than he was at Primrose. Which proves it is not our son that has the issue it is something about Primrose that he completely disliked. Now we definitely did like some of the teachers and the director - but overall just a bad experience and did not like how things were handled by the owner in the end. read more

Hands down the best school for your little one! Our daughter has been here since she was 3 months old and they've taken excellent care of her. But the biggest reason I love them is the individual care. The owner Francie has taken the time on multiple occasions to speak with us personally about our daughter and her special circumstances. That's not something you'll find at all schools. Our older child attended a different school and the experience was worlds apart. In addition to Francie, the management and staff are excellent as well. I love when the director calls she starts off with "Everything is okay with your daughter." Because as parents when you see the daycare's name on the caller ID, you immediately think something is wrong. I could go on and on. Jackie and Toni are amazing and JoJo in the infant room is so awesome we have no hesitation sending our newborn there starting in February. You can't go wrong with this Primrose! read more

We looked at several options for daycare for our son prior to him being born. We were so blessed to find Primrose School and Macland Pointe. Our son has been attending there since he was 12 weeks old and he is now almost 2. We absolutely loved the teachers in the Infant room. While there was some turnover that was concerning, each teacher that was hired was wonderful and just loved on our baby. We are now almost out of the Young Toddlers room and again, the teachers have been great. My son is absolutely thriving there and seems to learn something new everyday. He truly enjoys being there. I'm thrilled that they include art and music as part of their classroom activities. The staff and owner are so easy to talk to and have always taken an interest in not just my son, but my husband and I as well. They listen to concerns and answer questions when I have them. They have responded quickly any time there has been an incident involving my child, such as tripping and bumping his head or another child bit him. They gives lots of love and extra attention when those types of things happen. I'm so grateful that I can concentrate on work during the day knowing that my little one is being well cared for. I look forward to watching him continue to grow and thrive is such a caring and loving learning environment. read more

Let me start by saying that most of the staff is wonderful. My experience is just one but it did happen. My son started Primrose in March 2016. In June he was diagnosed with SPD. I was told by a very good friend to not tell the staff as they would throw him out once they knew. I had a meeting with Ms. Francie Towney who assured me and my husband they would work with us. I again asked please let me know before school starts if this was going to be a problem so he wouldn't develop bonds that would be broken and again I was told no. I had been working with the county to get my son the help he needed so I asked his teachers to fill out the paperwork to get his help and they filled out as if there was no problem at all. 30 days to go before a decision is made and they have expelled my son. A child that doesn't handle transitions. Their reason was "We do not have the training nor the resources to give him what he needs to continue his development". Then they offered 2 more weeks so I can find him another place. When you have a child that has a transition problem this is the worst thing you can do to him. My Biggest problem was that they didn't that the resources back in March or again in June when he was diagnosed so when I asked point blank because his summer teacher would be his preschool teacher why then was I told this wouldn't be a problem? Primrose is a great school if you have a perfect child unless you have child with special needs. read more

My son has been at Primrose School at Macland Pointe from when he was 4mos old. Today he turns 4 and is still loving the school. I consider the school more of a family than a school. The teachers are very caring and treat my son like their own. I couldn't ask for a better school for him to be in and get top notch learning before he goes into kindergarten. read more

My family has definitely had our share of early educational institutions for our children. We can now say with confidence that Primrose at Macland Pointe, indeed, exemplifies supreme educational child care. After only one week of enrollment, my wife and I immediately noticed the progressive, language milestones that our toddler has made. Not only are we pleased with our children's cognitive development while enrolled at Primrose, but we are also pleased with the hands-on structure the owners implement in the day- to- day operations. I must mention the low student to teacher ratio; which has played a significant role in the high quality educational standard each Primrose child receives. We especially like the family-oriented staff. It speaks volume to hear my 3 year old wake up and say, "Daddy, I want my Primrose!" read more

Worst school in Marietta! Run, run, run from this school. The owners don't care about their employees and pay is shitty! They don't listen to anything the staff has to say. They will nickel and dime the customers for everything! And the equipment is outdated. Not worth the money at all! The new director is insecure and stays in her office most of the day. The children don't even know her name (after 2months). She is intimidated by the staff who IS liked by the parents and children. She does not exhibit personal skills and is a straight up LIAR! The center has become sterile and cold since the new director and executive director started. This school used to be so family oriented, but is now lacking the loving feel that used to be valued by teachers, parents, children and management. Such a shame that these people can be so heartless toward ppl who are the reason they have this business. The owners and directors are the most deceitful ppl I've ever met in my life! read more
